just back from hosting one of my group Cruisers a celebrity Eclipse Canada cruise this is the A4 map from it
0:05
created by the cruise maps.com that I'm now adding to my cruise album coffee table book this greatl looking album
0:13
holds 25 of those A4 maps that I've started collecting of my favorite cruises each of the cruise maps.com maps
0:21
are created using satellite tracking so it shows exactly where my cruise went and has all the ports marked all I
0:28
needed to do was tell the cruise maps.com the ship dates and the start and end port I could also have ordered
0:35
them in larger sizes and frame to hang on the wall I actually have those too
0:40
and thanks to my friends will and Matts who created the cruise maps you can get 10% off any order on checkout by going
0:47
to the Cru maps.com TFT that's the Cru
0:53
maps.com TFT hello everybody and welcome welcome from Santi ago in Chile
1:01
so yes there's a bit of an ad there for cruise Maps um so what I've done is they are again promoting I'm promoting some
1:07
of their products friends of mine but you won't get any other ads so people asked me last time around that so I've
1:13
taken all the other ads off anyway I'm in Santiago um in my hotel room it's a very nice hotel room this is actually
1:19
the included hotel as part of the silver SE door Todo so you book it and you get transfers uh you get the flights you
1:27
paay to upgrade I paid to upgrade the business because I had a 14 and our our flight um then you get transfers and etc
1:34
etc um then you get in fact we get a chart of FL I'll talk about more about that later and obviously you normally
1:41
getting excursions included of course being an an expedition Cruise you doing all stuff on zodiac so that is what it's
1:47
doing so maybe I'll give you a quick little look out of the RO like you might look down there there's a very nice
1:53
swimming pool down there which is very nice um I've said here before and the
1:58
water was absolutely freezing cold uh for some
2:03
reason even though it's like I think it's 28 or 29 degrees Celsius here today so anyway so let's get stuck in there's
2:09
lots of questions and I will do an hours with so thanks for those of you joining me on a very different uh time zone to
2:15
usual um my plan is hopefully because they do have starlink and I will upgrade
2:20
to the higher package I will definitely try next Sunday to do a live stream from
2:26
the ship now it's actually a Cay so I probably can use hopefully be able to use normal Sunday
2:32
Times uh because that works most people I do know that um the UK change clocks this week us I think are changing next
2:39
week so I'll try and keep an eye and not mess up all the various time slots um as
2:44
usual so just keep an eye on the actual timing um so we'll go for an hour here um and let's get going um so a couple of
2:53
questions which I can't rely answer which is from see the world so talking
2:59
about a trip to Peru in Chile is on my bucket list but I'm wondering if visiting Peru by cruise to be a good option also what's the best way to visit
3:05
Patagonia Cruise or land with a follow-up question around um I can't do
3:11
a cruise longer than 12 days due to work commitments trying to figure out how much time for each country I can't fully answer that because I haven't really
3:18
done landbased now there are some dedicated travel agents that focus on this region so for example in the UK
3:25
there's Latin roots they have another company called polar Roots which focus on more cruising side obviously Arctica
3:31
and Antarctica they probably finding someone who's specialist like that would probably be a good idea um you're right
3:37
I did a I did a two we cruise from San Diego well obviously not from because land inside land I did from uh Val
3:45
paricio round to Boris Aries and next in 206 I've actually booked uh to go all the way from Boris Aries all the way
3:51
around uh through Peru Lima uh and so on
3:56
uh through Panama Canal back and what they do on some of those but that's 31 days but what they do so
4:02
for example in limo we're there for three days and they have an add-on Excursion where you can go to matchu Picchu so I think you're going really
4:08
need to find an expert I I can't answer that but I think at some point a lot of the places are fairly in land so I know
4:13
at the end for example in bues Aries there was an extension where you could go further in land to the falls I forgot
4:20
the name of those so I can't really answer that for you but um I think someone has sort of answered that a
4:25
little bit there so Desiree um is the art IC cruise around spalart worth the
4:31
cost Des I did that and it was an incredible experience and I would like to try and do it again um I've seen
4:40
fewer um spard cruises I know I think someone mentioned there R Gren did it uh
4:45
I think Quark doesn't very interesting one but I found it fantastic uh we got to see quite a few polar bears we went
4:51
fairly far north into pushed into the ice and of course there's a lot of history there as well and also seeing a
4:57
long year B is very interesting as well so I thought it was great uh it's a very expensive trip so it's really around
5:04
finding uh you know something that kind of works budget wise John has asked a
5:10
question around Japan um John what I will do is I will put a link in the
5:16
notes here so probably you maybe give be 10 minutes after the end of this where I
5:21
will put a link to my Japan Cruise uh tips video but certainly what you want
5:26
to make sure you're doing is obviously Tokyo lots of stuff great things do Tokyo I would strongly encourage you to go to
5:32
Hiroshima and Nagasaki or one or the either if it's only one Hiroshima is probably the best one to go to just in
5:39
terms of the understanding of that whole second world war and the bomb and so on they have a very disturbing but very
5:45
good Museum you want to go to a port that either calls onto Osaka or Kobe um
5:51
because you do Absolut want to go to Kyoto I think going to Chan not going to Kyoto is a real big Miss then in that I
5:56
dive into many of the other ports uh as well with lots of the tips around kind of what uh what to see Sarah I will come
6:03
back to your question because diving a little bit more into this particular crew we come back to that but I will
6:09
quickly answer this one steinel mad Chen good to see you here a regular here is
6:16
it possible to add passengers to a cabin after the initial booking I'm planning to do Solo in a balcon cabin but my
6:21
brother may join me yes so for example I've just taken mark off one of my cruises for next year for sun princess
6:27
because he's not coming uh the the the fair has adjusted slightly so it's down not very much because if you go from two
6:33
in a cabin to one in a cabin uh on that one there was maybe 200 pounds May $300
6:39
difference in price um I have other Cruisers where I've had the booked for us and he's going to come off so
6:45
obviously Fair will go down slightly others I'm going to add him where the fair will go very small so if you've
6:50
booked most Cruise Lines a seller cabin the difference in Fair adding a passenger may be fairly small uh if
6:58
you've effectively paying double the price but the the lines will normally adjust the price so it is possible to
7:03
add um them obviously the more notice you can give probably the easier it's going to be but certainly it is it is
7:10
absolutely possible um obviously if that cabin holds certain amount of passeng so if you're adding three or four and it's
7:17
cabin that's only allocated for three obviously they're not going to let you but but pretty much they are m p here saying brother-in-law comes from San
7:23
Diego Chile so let's um let me answer Sarah's question are you in the mandin
7:29
Orient Al what is it like what time is the charter flight to the South is silver sea looking after things so let
7:35
me answer those in in sort of order Sarah say yes we're in the Mandarin Oriental guess I mentioned at the
7:41
beginning I actually posted on my Instagram uh room tour which you can probably see now um and I just put that
7:48
as a little short on YouTube um so the M Oriental I it's quite a nice hotel there's not a lot around here so if you
7:54
just want to go out and stroll there's a lot to do around here this is actually the third time I've said here Stadium
7:59
once after my first anartica trip because silver sea thing I stayed here just before that thing I mentioned with
8:06
with Holland America and obviously now here uh so it's a very nice ATT you can see the rooms are pretty big and um
8:14
they're very comfortable there like a little step down area you got a little seating area and stuff u a couple of restaurants um I'd actually booked even
8:22
though we got to the H here about 8 n o' of our flight I'd actually booked the night before to make sure I could get in
8:27
the room so I went to breakfast morning I've eaten about 27 meals at 24 hours of traveling and time differences very nice
8:34
breakfast um stuff so that's very good the chter flight so the chter flight has changed a bit let me actually show you
8:41
what the uh route is and what we're planning to do because it's actually changed slightly so we're up in Sago the
8:48
idea was to get a charter flight down to Port of Williams over here which is where we would you to leave and then
8:53
head off to the Forkland to South Georgia uh which is just phenomenal I can't wait to go back there Elephant Island explor Antarctica South Shon back
9:00
to portter Williams however uh due to what we've been told uh is due to poor
9:06
weather down this way we're actually going to fly to pun arenus which I think
9:11
is around about here if I remember correctly so that we're doing a chart of flight to punter arenus um so let me
9:19
bring your question back up again let me find the question that you
9:25
had uh so so now so uh I have tomorrow and then on we have to leave our bags
9:31
out before 11:00 p.m. tomorrow night then we have to meet so everyone's got a
9:37
different bus number so I have my I'm in bus number two I have to meet at 6:20 so
9:42
they're doing a breakfast from 5:30 a.m. I have to be ready to leave on the bus at 6:20 uh it's about a three and a half
9:48
hour flight and what they've said on the little letter they gave us uh today when we went to the little Hospitality desk
9:54
is we should be at the ship um around 2 o'clock so I guess that probably means
10:00
our flights 9 or 10 or something like that in in the morning um it's going to
10:06
be one plane it's an an a321 I think it is which holds about 240
10:14
and there 200 um guests will go on on this trip I think it's fairly sort out
10:20
uh when I looked online there they were still selling a few cabins the other day um and then there will probably be some
10:26
of the Expedition team joining that so uh the good news is it's a little bit easy because what used to happen is we
10:32
did that flight down to pus and then we got split on smaller planes because
10:37
Porter Williams can only take small planes so it was going to we going SP into smaller planes so it's actually
10:43
actually better in some ways what they're saying is we will then leave PTO oranus um by by six o'cl the next 6 o'cl
10:50
the next morning uh and then everything will be to plan I we've got much further to go because PO is obviously failly uh
10:56
South not that far from oia which is about 90% of Antarctic cruises go from
11:01
so we still going to go down there around uh cape Cape Horn and then across
11:07
so it probably will be a good old bumpy ride which as you know touch what I normally really I quite like that but
11:14
that can be pretty choppy that part of the world and of course we're not heading quite to Dr passage but certainly my experience of sailing um
11:21
from monteo 2021 to Forkland was pretty bumpy so I think we'll have probably
11:26
bumpy time but we will see uh let's have a look so Barry I am the worst person to
11:33
advise in Santiago I'm embarrassed to say that I have been here as I mentioned three times and I have not explored
11:39
sanago normally because as I'm doing tomorrow is you know it's kind of a work day so I'm gonna kind of get lots of
11:45
stuff done uh I've got review some video editing and stuff bits pieces so I actually haven't explored Santiago at
11:52
all so and fact on the Little transer Bus of people saying oh you've been here before what what should do I have no
11:57
idea other than this very beautiful mountains um so I don't know but I will find out because I know some of the
12:03
people are on the trip in fact someone who's here I need to ask if I can mention that they're on the same trip as me um and um I think they're going to
12:10
exploring tomorrow um Barry might suggest would be take a look at via tour
12:16
um they will list loads of things to do they will be pretty pretty uh good good to do H here which is great um ah Diane
12:25
is here H Diane and Andrew assuming both you here maybe one or either you is here
12:30
so how long does it take you to pack for a cruise some travels often do you have clothing other items set aside
12:36
specifically for trips even keep your bags prepacked so I it's probably a combination of that um I uh I pack
12:45
pretty quickly I can probably pack for a trip maybe in an hour or so because I know in my head what I'm taking um I do
12:52
have certain things like I keep a separate set of toiletries for example I have certain things for the flight as
12:58
well separate um like I have these big wraparound eye shade things which uh I have um and
13:06
specific earplugs I like but I so I have a separate set of Tores which I keep I have a little first aid kit that I keep
13:11
so in my suitcase I do have a few things in there including a couple of camera bits and pieces like certain tripods and
13:17
stuff like that that I don't unpack I keep those in there even things like covid tests for example I was keep pack
13:23
of covid tests so I do kind of repack stuff now for this trip for example though all my
13:29
um Expedition gear for cold weather is all kept together in one place and
13:35
literally I just took that out and put that on the bedro to pack so it's very quick I I have a packing list that I
13:41
actually don't use anymore uh because I I I I could of know so
13:47
um so that yeah so but I and I pretty much bring the same things interesting enough the same sorts of clothes I know
13:54
in my mind I know I say those smart clothes if it's a smart if it's Smoke Smart Cruise um I know boom it's that
14:01
set of clothes and so on so it's more in my head than than set um and as you're right I I pack you know once uh
14:08
basically once once a month to go somewhere uh Steve valon is I can't
14:15
answer to at the moment I'm getting very mixed reviews I will have much better perspective next year because I'm going
14:20
on two Princess Cruises one in May with Paul and Carol's group Cruise followed by Sun princess and it's going to be
14:26
inter on sun princess because they made a lot of changes they've moved around six restaurants uh including the
14:32
sanctuary one uh which is one of the reasons we booked for it because you had this kind of exclusive restaurant which
14:38
they've now made much bigger and stuff um so um I I
14:44
haven't so I can't give you very up to dat um because it's been a while since I've sailed on them I think the last
14:50
time I sailed on them was in 20202 when it was average I would say
14:55
but since then they have brought in Rudy sodomin who helped H America sign
15:01
improve their food so I've I've people contacted me have had more mixed views I feel like they're on they're they're on
15:07
a journey and and hopefully better uh high is here which is great um
15:14
Barry uh do you ever feel pressured to not give a bad review and how you deal with it so Barry I never ever ever feel
15:20
that and the reason I don't is because I don't get any freebies so I never take a
15:26
free cruise I never take a any kind of comp Cruise I'll never take a a significant upgrade uh I don't take
15:34
anything basically so I can say what I want to say which is why I know some cruise lines are not very keen on me um
15:41
like Pino for example um so um so I never feel pressurized at all because
15:47
the way I look at things is my my boss if you like is the audience so uh uh and
15:54
I don't owe anything to the cruise lines I do sometimes when I've been on a cruise line where I've given a lot of negative reviews kind of
15:59
will they be a t and I have bumped into people crew members who have been on cruises where have been relatively kind
16:05
of negative or whatever um and um you know so uh I don't feel that I mean I
16:14
what I try to do barri is I try to be relatively kind of um balanced as it
16:20
were um so I don't feel pressurized and that's one of the reasons your point though is one of the reasons I decided
16:26
that I was not going to do press trips so when I first started uh and I was just building the channel I got host on
16:32
loads of trips and I was very flattered originally but I I decided made a decision not to do that um back in 2019
16:41
that I wasn't going to do any more of those and I get asked around I keep it reg I think in the last 12 months I've
16:47
been asked on 11 different trips all of which i' I have said no to and I have turned down I've been on a cruise line
16:54
which offered me a very big upgrade and I also turned that down um because uh
16:59
again probably because I want to review the specific cabin I chose a specific cabin I'm obsessed with cabins um but
17:05
also then I didn't I would I felt that I was then going to be obliged to to do that and also on a very practical thing
17:11
the rules do say it's both a US Rule and a UK rule is you should be declaring any
17:16
free trips as an ad hasht ad so and I know people don't follow it as much as
17:22
they should do but literally it should be hasht ad and everything you upload onto YouTube should be flagged as
17:28
contain paid promotion compliance to that is more mixed I'm not just pointing out Cruise
17:33
bloggers but just more generally um so uh I want to say shout out to Mark who
17:39
just sent me a message I was glancer there so Mark and Anita are on the cruise with me he said give me the okay
17:44
to say yes he is um so it was quite interesting actually because this morning our flights he flown from the US
17:50
um and I was flying from the UK but our flights sort of at the same time end up being on the same transfer so um that's
17:56
great so um they will be on the trip which would be fantastic they have experience of the ship which was quite
18:02
handy they did an an Arctic um Canadian Arctic experience uh earlier this year
18:09
in fact a couple months back so it was quite good to get some good insights on the ship so that was great so Megan in
18:16
fact I'm going to be having dinner shortly with Mark and net hopefully after this so Megan's question on my
18:22
first Cru I'm actually get an invite to the captain commodor table on mqueen Mary 2 do other cruise ships offer that
18:28
we just tried a like is it worth trying again off America Megan the the Captain's Table is pretty much a non
18:34
thing these days so very few captains host tables I know it is a thing on cot
18:40
even qot sort of postco do that dramatically less they used to have that table kind of underneath the the kind of
18:48
U the the the big mural and stuff it's not a thing really anymore at all so
18:56
um sometimes they will host uh you know very high loyal to people they might
19:01
host some people in the top Suites but it's very unusual in h America it's pretty unusual you'll find a little bit
19:06
more of Hosting goes on in the more upscale lines so Seaborn will do a lot of hosting the crew will host a lot of
19:13
people but it's very very unusual these days um to be asked to to dine with the
19:20
captain um it's it's become a thing of the past in reality but it's worth a try
19:26
um Steve asking the question um you travel so much do you buy travel insurance for every one of your trips so
19:32
Steve I buy an annual policy uh which you can do in the UK I
19:37
know it's diff by country what you can do so I buy an annual policy uh which
19:42
covers all my trips um and I have pre-existing condition stuff which it covers um so that's really good I've
19:49
actually by the way as an aside I've been asked many times to cover travel insurance which I have sort of been um
19:57
uh not reluctant but cautious of doing because I'm obviously not a a finance
20:03
expert as it were but I've been asked so many times I've been contacted by a couple people who are in the travel industry travel insurance uh business so
20:11
I'm going to partner with them so I've started scoping on that in fact I put a post on uh my YouTube Community uh which
20:18
was asking people what questions they want to know around travel so if you have anything you'll see on the YouTube
20:24
Community uh post there saying like what do you want me to answer and I will obviously answer ones I can I'm going to
20:30
get people to help me answer the others so it was one of the most most requested um uh uh topics for me to for me to
20:38
cover um so Betty doesn't like me finishing my clothes uh Michael um let's
20:44
have a look here have you ever considered Atlas what category you put them in so Michael I I've I keep an eye
20:51
on Atlas because they are quite an interesting line they I know a few people have been on them they started
20:57
just slow because they were new knew people who've been on them have quite liked them they pretty good value I mean they are probably they're obviously in
21:04
the Expedition largely category I would say they're kind of midrange um so uh you know they're not
21:12
as expensive as a silver sea or a cbor um I think that I I need to double check
21:17
the pricing I feel like they're more comparable to a quark maybe a Lind blat kind of thing but they are sort of
21:22
relatively upscale now quite what's interesting with Atlas is they had two new builds which they have um they're
21:29
not taking and Windstar are taking the two new builds so I think I'm right saying I better not I think they have
21:36
two ships and but certainly they've curtailed expanding and it's good news for Winstar
21:42
because they're going to get two uh two new builds um Andrea has ask the question
21:48
how would you get the best price of cruise do you always pay the brocher price or can you find a disount price so Andre this is a massive Topic in fact
21:55
com back to videos that I'm working on I'm actually working on one at the moment which is um called something like
22:01
how to find a good how to Cruise For Less in a time of you know very high
22:06
fairs and Rising fairs and it's quite complicated uh well it's quite complex
22:12
because there's lots of different options I mean the best price you will normally get when iies are
22:17
launched um because then through Dynamic pricing the pricing will tend to go up
22:23
and now particularly that chips are selling so full pricing doesn't tend to come down certainly post pandemic and
22:28
even run pic you'd often get some prices coming down so through Fair tracking you could or couldn't get uh stuff uh your
22:36
fair reduced so that is always the best thing to do I do a lot of um stuff where
22:42
I know where I want to go I know what lines I want to go on and I Rely a lot
22:47
on promotions so when I turn up every cruise line that I want ever travel on
22:53
as some of their marketing emails and when their promotions come through so for example
22:59
um you know I was traving solo although might not be Solo in the end but there was there was a trip that I want to do
23:05
which goes from New York through to Canada because I wanted to go to Canada again stop group Cruise it goes up to
23:10
Greenland and then goes across to spend some time in Iceland and I really wanted to do that it was but on Celebrity going
23:16
as a solo it's very hard to get solo Deals they then running a promotion
23:22
where the second person was traveling for like significantly reduced like 30%
23:27
or something so I checked that and discovered that actually I could effectively get a solo supplement for
23:32
30% so it's little things like that um where you'll get flash sales for example
23:38
particularly in the more upscale lines at the moment I've seen a lot from things like Seaborn uh stuff like that
23:44
doing flash cells so I'm putting together that video of kind of all those little tips and tricks so hopefully um
23:51
that will be out before the end of the year so hopefully that will answer that uh better so I'm going to take a slug of
23:57
water um while there just a
24:03
reminder um if you possibly can if you can write the word question before the
24:10
questions so I don't miss it in between any chat because I real luckily I
24:15
haven't U Missy so Anthony have you noticed post covid that room attendance
24:20
had many more cabs absolutely pretty much every single line they have uh increased the number of uh cabins that
24:27
cabin stewards have on certainly on the sort of the mass Resort and then the
24:32
premium lines they do have more and some what they've also done is uh to to look
24:37
at the workload they've also taken away evening service so things like Pio Norwegian and stuff like that they have
24:43
one a day once a day service other Cruise Lines you have an option of opting into one a day uh service so um
24:51
uh so so that absolutely that has been the case actually Rosemary making the good point thanks for that adding that
24:57
Rosemary um where they have introduced same as they've introduced uh rules around the
25:04
world with cruise ships going slower in fact not only cruise ships but all Maritime ships going slower to avoid um
25:11
collisions and damaging whales so lines are going slower than ever before um but
25:16
also around spalart they're putting new rules in around um uh you know the polar
25:23
bears and distance from polar bears and stuff like and you're right when we went to spad we gone into the ice and the
25:28
polar bears kind of came to explore we stayed put and what Ros is saying is they were telling her is that the ship
25:34
has to maintain that that that that that distance
25:39
um Amanda uh in your opinion which of the Luxury Line says the best food we're
25:46
currently considered Cruise in the Mediterranean on WinStar but are looking into Oceania well Oceania will make the
25:52
marketing claim that they have the finest cuisine at Sea so they have very good food MI revie I think the problem
25:58
is what happens is because they use that line people are have very high expectations so it's hard to deliver but
26:05
I would say in my experience of going although sort of between Oceania Viking WinStar asamara which is in that sort of
26:11
small ship luxury grouping ocean is the strongest um the next nud up is Ela
26:18
luxury which is Seaborn silver sea Crystal uh Ritz Carlton and so on um you
26:23
know I would say they they are at least as good if not a little bit nudge above ocean in many ways but of the group
26:30
ocean generally is the is the best one KB in the UK good to know that you got your missport so K they told us last
26:37
time I think it was last live by thanks for joining uh in in the UK is uh with a
26:43
different time is uh you're probably going to be missing the strictly results if you're a strictly fan anyway um so I
26:50
think I mentioned before some insurance policies do have missed ports and K's talking about how they missed pretty
26:56
much every I think you pretty much missed every report so that's that's really great to know Ros me adding the
27:02
tip actually about the polar bears and Churchill she had mentioned that before which is which is a good one to know
27:07
Alan saying the same thing on oania oania um right Ian question do you find
27:16
the best deals for silver SE come in post Christmas sales or at another time is a good way to track discounts so here
27:23
I mean you write a flag that generally speaking there's a thing known as The Wave season
27:28
the wave season happens just after Christmas and the cruise LS put an enormous amount of effort into wave
27:34
season it's because when people book holidays you know people in the northern hemisphere which is where the bulk of the passengers come from I guess people
27:40
get past Christmas it's a bit dark and gloomy and it's a massive uh time for booking I knowly in the UK you know on
27:48
from Boxing Day the day after because it's just full of travel ads so you'll normally find a lot of deals then
27:53
because it's also very competitive not only people booking but it's very very competitive all the lines trying to
27:59
stand out so it's definitely a great time to look for deals now specifically on Sil SE I haven't tracked silver SE
28:05
specifically um uh to know if that that's the best time for them but it's
28:11
definitely a very key uh period um the other key way to track discounts um as I
28:18
mentioned earlier my tip is make sure that you're signed up to the marketing emails because any uh flash sales or
28:24
discounted sales will come uh you know through that and that's a really good
28:29
way of keeping up to anything that's happening uh silver sea I'm trying to think what I've seen on Silver sea
28:35
they've had a flash sale recently uh I guess we're looking at be interested see if they do anything in November around
28:40
Black Friday that's another time often uh when when when they will come in I
28:46
I'm seeing a lot of The Flash sales happening month end and quarter end which I assume is then you know filling
28:52
up their uh quotas and and their budgets and and so on uh moonman 547 all the way
28:58
across there in Seattle um hope you had a good flight you had a great flight was it was a 14 and half hour flight very long uh but I slept for about 7 and a
29:05
half hours you know obviously when you sleeping it's a little bit disrupted so I had it was pretty good to feel relatively refreshed Etc and it's it's
29:13
because of the time change in the UK it's like a three-hour time difference so it's not a crazy uh kind of time
29:19
difference so that's that's quite good um uh nice wish there to Mark and nette
29:29
um because Mike and Cary went on our group Crews and got to know uh Mark and
29:35
Anette Gregory with more more Cruise Lines bringing bigger ships to Alaska aren't they going to overwhelm Cruise sports and limit the availability of
29:41
excursions uh yeah I feel like I kind remember I did look at the number of ships in Alaska it was enormous um with
29:49
everyone heading up their virgin Etc they're all already are pretty overwhelmed they are having lot as you
29:54
know Juno had their poll not poll the referendum around Banning ships on a Saturday which uh the people pushing for
30:02
the ban didn't win that so so ships will still come there's some restrictions but yes I think there's going to be uh you
30:08
know the clear the cruise line Association they're kind of going to be I think we'll see a lot of negotiation around how they manage the whole uh the
30:16
whole Alaska uh situation uh someone asked me where my partner is uh at home
30:21
working um is the is the short answer so um uh so yeah so this a Sol trip in
30:29
reality Mark um doesn't really is is not very keen on the idea of Drake Passage I
30:36
know you can obviously go to anartica not doing dr's passage which I feel is a bit of cop out because it's a f of Passage I feel so not so keen and there
30:43
probably less ke on Expedition um you know with limited uh vacation time still working probably we tend to choose
30:50
choose warmer kind of vacation so uh we have on my next trip after this is a
30:56
combine we're doing a Panama Canal from Miami all the way to
31:01
um where we going are we going to Los Angeles yes we to Los Angeles and then going to Vegas for a week over New
31:07
Year's so uh New Year's um New Year's Eve which would be good after motions are looking for a video editing graph
31:13
motions graphic designer no I'm not I have editors um stuff that I've worked with since
31:20
2019 Ian uh trying to book the cruise you're about to do for the entr is fabulous so do keep following it by the
31:26
way so obviously I'll do videos about this in the other thing you might want to do is I do uh post um when I'm on a
31:31
trip I do Post uh quite a lot of Instagram stories my Instagram is Gary bambridge uh and I will probably do that
31:38
so every day I'll post a couple of Instagram stories um I will also post updates to patrons and channel members
31:45
uh as well uh so if that's something that appeals uh patreon.com to Travelers
31:50
or the channel members thing um but it's it's you know it's it should be
31:56
fantastic because uh um going to South Georgia especially is very exciting now obviously there's a risk at this time of
32:02
year with ice like I went last time I went we maybe a week or two later so you
32:07
have to expect lots of chops and changes uh as You' already seen with the chart of like if you were here you know it's
32:13
already we haven't even set off yet and things have already changed um
32:19
so oh okay so a good question here so do you know have to know a time frame for the cruise Globe py might Sol so just
32:26
let people if if they don't what we're talking about let's see do I have uh Cruise Globe not a great picture
32:33
do I have any other pictures still here so the cruise Globe is a free resource which is being launched by the cruise
32:38
map so the people who kind of sponsoring this particular episode um and it's going to be a free resource what you can
32:45
do is you input all your Cruisers um so I've got now because only two people
32:50
currently sort of testing it which is Emma crues and myself at the moment as we play around with and try it out so
32:56
I've now got I think about 40 odd cruises that it's amazing um so you can
33:01
it shows every uh it'll show every place because it use satellite tracking data they can add in cruises after 2015 at
33:07
the moment so you'll then be able to see the globe and you'll be able to go around you can zoom right in I show that
33:14
last time we can zoom right in and look where your ship actually went in the in certain Bays or whatever um and it's
33:19
really good so the cruise globe.com as I said it's free at the moment uh you signing you can you can sign up for it
33:25
um you can use that QR code there to sign up so coming back to the original question that was on timing so
33:33
my uh M car so my understanding is allot of it depends on how you know as they
33:39
keep tweaking with bugs and so on they got a lot of suggestions a lot of people have sent suggestions um so um the guys
33:48
Matt uh and will Matt actually sent over to me some of the suggestions so far which were great I've given them a
33:53
couple of suggestions as well so they want to try and build those infl launch so my understanding
33:59
is they hope to go uh live um as we head into 25 I think January 25 so at the
34:05
moment by the way if you sign up it'll be released in the order that people come in um they're only going to start
34:11
promoting it more publicly Beyond em and myself uh I think they on their own socials in the middle of November uh is
34:18
is the is the is the aim so um and I
34:23
will keep you posted on that I I'll keep in touch with Matt um with that one Kathy going on your Panama Canal group
34:30
Cruise will we need a yellow fever shot and it's just checking have wonderful trip so yes so that's my next group Cru
34:35
so Kathy you you at the moment anyway yellow fever is not a requirement uh
34:41
some travel advisories have it as suggested I've been on the Panama Canal
34:46
uh three times I've never had the yellow fever shot I'm not planning to have a yellow fever shot unless of course it
34:52
becomes recommended Kathy the key thing to do which is what I'll do and also I'll I'll as we get Clos to the gos I
34:58
will make sure that we let people know this through um Sarah Bolton travel agent Sarah Bolton is also that I tend
35:06
to look at the foreign office the FCO site um and I'll put in and it will tell
35:11
you kind of requirements and there are a couple of other sites but we will keep an eye on that as we will keep an eye on
35:16
that as well uh for that but certainly no no it's it's a it's a it's a
35:21
requirement um no it's a suggestion rather than than a requirement um Dean
35:27
hi what criteria metric do you use in choosing an Antarctic expedition Cruise great point so there's a couple of
35:34
things um first thing is uh the itinerary is absolutely fundamental so
35:40
if you have the time and of course the money because that's a big factor is you want to go on an Antarctic expedition
35:47
cruise that includes South Georgia uh because South Georgia is where you get those massive amounts of wildlife you're
35:54
going to get colonies of 450,000 uh you know we landed on sorcery plane for example you I
36:01
c21 and you know in the morning there was a colony with 450,000 Penguins elephant seals which were a mating
36:08
season loads of other different types of seals uh and then in the afternoon we
36:13
went to another place which had I think it was 250,000 Penguins um and so on so this is where you get these massive
36:19
colonies there's also an enormous amount of history with Shackleton and and whaling and stuff um and and so that is
36:26
what I would strongly is make sure that you also going into South Georgia second thing is around uh timing
36:33
I think so I uh I've been at the very end of the season and I've been at the beginning of the season now probably
36:39
very telling that I'm going again at the beginning of the season I like going at the beginning of the Season uh it's
36:44
where you've got um you know obviously the most amount of ice it's more risky in many ways because it's more ice it's
36:50
more so it's more pristine because chips haven't Haven been down here yet uh greater risk of you know things kind of
36:57
um maybe going a little bit wrong because you just can't get into places but they always adapt and find you other places
37:03
um but the timing is very important so if you are um if you want to see lots of
37:08
so now is sort of like the penguins are in sort of nesting phase at the moment
37:13
uh so if you want to see chicks you need to go more towards like December time if
37:19
you really want to be guaranteed to see lots of whales although I saw lots of whales last time but if you want to see
37:24
more whales you need to sort of go from December onwards um Now sort of more as mentioned it's more some of the elephant
37:29
sill maing season there's actually a very good little graphic which polar Roots I mentioned earlier do but you'll
37:36
often find online that if you just Google best time an article them will have a little grid which shows you best time for whales so a little bit depends
37:42
on what you really uh want to see but so I like the beginning of the season with
37:48
more snow and more ice and stuff obviously at the end of the season there's much less so it's interesting because some of the places we went to
37:53
like the South shetlands for example I look at my pictures when I went at the end of the season the season quite a big
37:58
difference in terms of about of snow and and ice and stuff so that's the second thing third thing then is obviously uh
38:06
you want to make sure that you focus on a line that uh has a very good reputation for very strong Expedition uh
38:13
Team because the team really make or break the cruise so the reason I'm going back to Silver SE is I think they have a
38:19
phenomenal Expedition team uh they have been doing Expedition for quite a long time now they've been in Antarctic a
38:24
long time I've been to the Arctic with them I've been to gapas with them and you know going coming back I mean the
38:32
Pont Expedition team is great things like quar have Great Expedition team the linback the National Geographics so you
38:37
want to make sure that you know they do have a very very strong Expedition team and of course then the thing is budget
38:43
because uh you know money it's very expensive to go to uh here and then you have to kind of balance kind of the the
38:50
the the budget thing um and there's probably more that I've covered in my my
38:55
video which I probably will uh will will kind of be kind of up updating uh you
39:02
know coming out of this out of this trip um so let's have a look and see wow I think I've actually for the first time
39:08
ever I've actually caught up on questions so let me just go back and make sure that I if I've skipped any of
39:16
the questions uh let's have we done Japan I did that uh because sometimes I know I
39:21
know I end up missing uh Missing questions um Santiago I'm hoping some I
39:27
was hoping someone was going to chip in with lots of suggestions on uh on on that uh on on Santiago maybe Mark and
39:35
andet will have some good tips after tomorrow once they've once they've been there find oh here we go so M's found a
39:43
new so there are some a lot of people often ask me around how do I find arties
39:48
and I you want to find these sites that pull a lot of stuff from the dayto B so
39:54
like vacation to go is quite a good one they have generally speaking they're pretty accurate they pull I it's an API
40:00
what it's called they pull lots of um all the cruises so you can actually that's how I found that specific I I was
40:05
talking about the one that I want that I want to do s of almost C notification of um of South America is I could put in
40:13
the dates and then put up all the Cruisers there and then I go to the cruise side and kind of dive dive into
40:18
those so Spirit cruises I must look at that as well so C scanner is another one so I use Skys scanner for example a lot
40:25
with Airlines and I'm looking at kind of roots and options and stuff I use Skyscanner so that's good to know I will
40:31
check that I'll check that one out as well um so let's have a look uh so moonman
40:41
where will your next non anartica Expedition trip be so I actually haven't got another Expedition Cruise booked um
40:49
partly for Budget reasons I think as well um because I need to make sure that I don't completely bankrupt myself so I
40:55
don't have another Expedition trip booked the closest to that that I've got is which is not an expedition is that
41:02
kind of sort of circum navigation where we've got those kind of outings uh to match picture and stuff so I don't have
41:08
um any of those booked I would like to go and do see a little bit more of the Arctic uh as well but currently nothing
41:16
specifically nothing specifically booked Desiree asking um uh have you say have
41:22
you sailed to the SE shells and the mald islands I haven't I really would like to to sell those um they look incredible
41:32
there's quite a few you know quite a few of the world voyages or the grand voyages head there uh so a lot of the a
41:38
lot of those lines that do that will pass you there tends to be slightly the smaller ships but I but I haven't I
41:44
haven't been there yet uh visit habish a new visitor Dean has another question um
41:51
thanks for uh answering prior question we're going on a region Japan Cruise next fall is is it true you're required
41:58
to dress up after 6 p.m. at any venue so um like most cruise ships you know they
42:03
argue that after most Cruise Lines after six o'clock the dress code kicks in so whatever the dress code is so you're
42:10
right um because they don't have on Regent they don't have um like they
42:16
don't have a buffet venue so the buffet restaurant becomes uh set Mari in the
42:22
evening they're Italian same on silvery their Buffet becomes uh I for what it's
42:28
called now up hand I should know because I was looking at it anyway um so you're right after six o'cl then you there
42:33
isn't a kind of a casual dining Vu so you are then expected to kind of do whatever the dress Cod is but in reality
42:39
I found Regent I expected Regent to be very dressy uh when I went so I had
42:44
taken jackets I think about jacket and a suit and I never wore either a jacket or a suit when I was on that Japan Cruise
42:51
so I will probably we doing the region Cruise in December I will probably take like a suit with me so can get dress up
42:58
if we want to because maybe over the Christmas period people might dress up a bit more around the time but yes because
43:03
you know normally on other cruise ships they will have you can head off to the the buffet and shorts or whatever so um
43:12
that that's certainly what I found so uh Michael uh how do you rate
43:17
Viking Expeditions in Antarctica so I haven't been on a viking Expedition but
43:23
um uh I do know some people who've been on Viking Expeditions and they really really enjoyed it enormously so uh their
43:30
ships of I saw their Ships In fact when I was in um I wasn't on Expedition that time I think it was on H America and we
43:37
called into uh USA and Viking uh I kind of to there because they had the two
43:43
ships I can't remember which one it was now the ship looks very beautiful um and certainly um a couple people on so Bob
43:51
and Holly have been on a viking Expedition which they rated very highly um and recently uh Richard um uh would
43:59
visit us were they were on they to the great lakes and they did a very nice video tour uh and some Social Media
44:07
stuff on that so certainly they people whove been on rate them very highly now they're slightly bigger so they hold
44:12
more passengers than say silver sea or whatever hold so that's really quite
44:18
important in relation to the number of Landings because basically what happens is um you're allowed a certain amount of
44:25
people at any Landing during the course of the day and you're only allowed a hundred people on lad at any one time so
44:33
you you know so if you've got so the advantage with 200 passengers is 100 people go out say for two hours do the
44:40
landing others will stay on the ship there might be some lectures or something then they will come back the
44:45
next uh lot will go out um but as you have more and more passengers you have
44:50
to you have short amount of times so you can bring people back and toward so like H gon for example it is much more cost
44:56
effective effective to go say on huttin because um they have more passengers but
45:02
have slightly fewer Landings and stuff like that so that's kind of how it works but certainly um the people have been on
45:08
it rated it very highly I would really like to try the ships the ships do look very uh beautiful because they they're kind of new and they're pretty modern
45:14
certainly what Viking also do very well uh which Bob and H spoke about as well is you know they have very good
45:21
enrichment as well because it's kind of in their kind of DNA so obviously they their expedition team but they also have
45:27
uh you know General uh general you know that's that's what they
45:32
do Ian has a question Norwegian are rewriting substantially after final payment claiming fuel fuel efficiency
45:39
needs are other lines doing this and do you see this as an ongoing trade Ian it's been it's very interesting I'm I am
45:44
following quite a lot of stuff at the moment which is a lot of lines um chopping and changing um bits of pieces
45:51
so all kind of cancelling and moving stuff around so um some of some of the
45:58
some of it could be the ripple effect I was mentioning earlier there's there's some new sort of uh restrictions on um
46:04
uh you know speeds that you can travel so they're bringing the speeds down now that has two effects one of which is uh
46:12
because it's from a wildlife perspective particularly Wales and secondly uh going slower is much more cost effective for
46:19
the cruise lines so um you know so you know so that becomes that becomes quite
46:24
important so um you because they also say said so I've seen a couple of tweaks
46:30
around but it's a lot of it's been more around changing redeployments now one of
46:35
the things that's also happening is um you know a couple of ports and it's more European ports are putting in more
46:42
restrictions around the number of lines that um that can actually kind of uh you
46:48
know head go come call in at any one time so that's another impact so for
46:54
example I got a chain for a trip I booked a repositioning trip
47:01
on Silver sea Nova no I'm talking rubbish sorry it was
47:06
on crystal I book in like a reposition Cru on crystal I'm want to try the new Crystal so in February it's a reposition
47:12
where they moving the ship from Tokyo uh and they're going basically they're heading I think down to Australia but
47:18
we're going sort of uh ACC to Shanghai into Manila then I think go Mana down to
47:23
Australia and we got um just this week some changes to the ports because basically the ports are too full uh they
47:31
can't they can't C so they've shuffled a couple of ports the so I think it's you know the lines plan so far in advance
47:37
you know that many of them got 26 into 27 are available so I think it's um It's
47:43
a combination here of speed uh reducing cost going slower but also Port demand
47:50
um so it's kind of a trend I I need to dive into the Norwegian one in more detail lots of people have been containg
47:56
me by the way about Norwegian because Norwegian have moved from free at se to more at Sea and it's it's causing a lot
48:01
of confusion and so on um Sher just adding a bit more um light onto the the rule
48:10
but as as you said like I've never I've never worn a jacket on on Regent
48:15
um so so that's there we go bcka boy good to see you here regulars can't wait
48:22
to see your photos and videos of endeavor looks like a selling ship we're doing the anartica next on Seaborn Pursuit seor Pursuit Of course is a
48:27
fabulous I can't remember if you guys have been on Seaborn Pursuit uh or or or V Venture at all I can't remember I know
48:34
you're always on some exotic ship somewhere um most of which go well I
48:40
think I think last week we were talking about Scenic if I remember correctly being more so so um but pursuit of
48:46
fabulous ship and in fact someone that I was on when we were in Kimberly um was
48:51
looking at trying to get on this cruise that I was on but because it wasn't a solar deal and he was driving without
48:57
his partner uh is going on a Pursuit down to Antarctica this year um so
49:02
that's and certainly the crew on was great the Cruis stuff is is is back on doing I follow him now on socials and
49:09
they're heading that of course down this way um so I'm really looking forward to Endeavor a little a little um aside
49:17
apparently uh in terms of uh per
49:23
birth uh Endeavor is the most expensive ship certainly the most expensive
49:28
Expedition ship ever built per birth so when Crystal built the ship they spent a huge
49:33
amount of money on it and obviously because it's smaller passenger and there's been L of money on it uh that's
49:38
it was you know so expensive I'm really really looking forward to Endeavor I will definitely be doing kind of a
49:44
review of endeavor how I think it rates as an expedition ship how compares to
49:50
other Expedition ships have been on and also I'll talk a little bit more about how I think the silver sea Expedition
49:55
things so I'm really excited also because I I'd followed particularly when they bought you know when they bought
50:02
silver when they bought Endeavor was crystal Endeavor they've made some changes as you probably know from when
50:07
they B Crystal had a casino on they had a helicopter pad and stuff and they've kind of reconfigured and and then a few
50:13
other bits few other bits and and pieces um mpac would you buy your cruise cabin
50:19
you can buy a cabin of your choice on Envy narrative so there's a couple of lines obviously those of you been following the drama as it were of the
50:27
Villa V uh which was the old Fred Olson ship which took months and months and months of them not being able to sell
50:34
because it was lots of issues with it and then they they sell and the the toilets weren't working and all sorts of
50:40
shenanigans and stuff so that's certainly um you it's been problematic the there's also of course the world and
50:47
I think the narrative is uh is it storylines if I remember correctly it's the name they've got two ships sort of
50:54
plan I wouldn't uh Buy one part because it's it's a lot of
51:00
money to tie up and the the annual fee is enormous I like to be a bit more promiscuous and kind of move around and
51:05
chop and change and and choose buy I don't know that I'd want to just be on on on one ship so I don't think I would
51:11
ever do that um and I like also you know when you go on shiing you meet different people and different experiences you
51:18
you'll go on SE which is very different to Silver SE or you might go on on America so you can also pick and choose like when I'm doing the South America
51:25
thing I've decided I want to go on a bigger ship because I it's quite a long time and I want to have more entertainment and good casino and all
51:31
that sort of all that sort of stuff as well so so I I I wouldn't buy but I'm following with with with with with a lot
51:37
of interest ah redhead storm here's a nice tip uh instead of buying present they've started a family crucii I think
51:44
it's a great idea you know one of the things that I that I sort of encourage I always have a discussion with Mark
51:49
around buying people Christmas presents is that it gets into this vicious cycle doesn't it because if you buy someone a
51:55
present they feel they need to buy you're pres of equal amount of kind of spirals and actually you get a lot of
52:00
stuff that you never need or or use and I always feel bad about so I love this idea of having a family cruise fund I
52:07
think that's great because also people could do as much as little as they want and then it's kind of you driving for something I love that I love that idea
52:14
there's the finest guy in the UK called Martin uh Lewis money saving expert he's
52:20
a big consumer rights Advocate and he's he kind of Advocates not buying Christmas presents because he feels it's
52:26
like a vious cycle and you're creating a lot of kind of unnecessary stuff and and I guess this is a great way of sort of
52:32
breaking the cycle but still doing stuff for everybody so I love that idea Navy
52:39
M hope that's right for.on how much French did I know can I get by with English I think you talked about this
52:45
but I forgot so certainly um maybe so unlike ha Lloyd so what ha Lloyd do is
52:51
they have certain ships designated as International so they so for example
52:57
their expedition ship is inspiration um and their classic is Europa 2 and what they guarantee is on
53:03
those ships the crew will be bilingual and they are much better caters but if you go on the others they will do it'll
53:09
be German and I'm sure they'll try and do it so certainly on Pont um as far as I remember all their ships they will
53:15
have an international approach to so um you know you don't need to go by with
53:21
French um I I know very little French uh in the worked in France for a
53:27
short period of time uh but I had very little French um so I you know the bonjour and uh polay uh and because I
53:36
found even you know on a small ship like they soon get to know who the the English ones the French ones are but certainly all the daily program always
53:42
come in English they were like when I I did an expedition thing with them so they would run separate lectures for
53:47
English speakers and separate ones for French speakers um you know it took a
53:52
while for the crew to get in the mind okay this is the French person or whatever um so you don't need to know obviously it does mean you don't know
53:59
how many English speakers will be on Pont so on my one there was uh there was a group on so that um that who were
54:07
about I think it was about 15 people in total in the end with 14 of them being
54:12
part of a group traveling together and me um so uh you know but I know I spent
54:18
other people where there's been many more English speakers someone there's been very few English speakers so uh you know you just need to be comfortable um
54:24
being in a kind of a a lingual uh environment and that's very important because actually some people uh certain
54:32
in that group found it more challenging because they felt that the English speakers were kind of slightly second
54:38
classes I didn't feel that at all but they felt they felt that maybe the French getting priority
54:44
um so uh so you don't worry about if you couple of good french expressions and I
54:50
think that poong is is a good one do you speak English or sorry I I don't speak French is there a case speak English the
54:57
equivalent of that it would be a great idea because it's nice to use that with the crew it's nice to use that with passengers because um most passengers uh
55:05
you know unlike certainly in the UK most uh because French uh people can speak
55:11
second languages third languages it's it's very uh it's very sobering when
55:16
we're so mono monol language if if that's uh if that's the right word um oh
55:22
okay hopefully I've just sort of answered two questions in one so experence because so so um again uh when
55:29
I was on uh we had there it was actually an organized group um on which is from
55:36
Noble calonia a travel group so there were quite a lot there were maybe 18 people there was another couple English
55:42
speaking couple uh maybe two English speaking couples of myself um so again they ran separate uh stuff you know we
55:49
we would get daily program always be in English um they would do things bilingual if the captain was talking or
55:54
the Cru director was talking making announcements we had separate specific um on on inspiration we had separate uh
56:02
we' go out with you know English speaker we were allocated just on those Zodiacs for English speakers um but again you
56:08
know I I did it is quite draining I was on that for nearly three weeks it was it is kind of draining because obviously
56:15
things always on German first so you just need to get ready ready for that when I was on Europa 2 I was traveling
56:20
with people so I probably noticed it less but if you're traveling with people certainly as a group and I did notice um
56:26
you know it's it's quite probably quite a good idea if you're going with another couple or or whatever it probably makes a bit easier but certainly that on those
56:32
International they did create an a experience and the crew all you know all were all were bilingual um certainly you
56:39
know you know the B and the the the waiters and stuff uh and in fact the the
56:45
desk crew were really English speakers with German as a second language a lot of them from the Philippines and and so
56:51
on um David uh do you have time to talk us through antic including off ship
56:57
exploration so I did touch on that let me just bring it up again just to remind everybody so we're going now from uh
57:05
pteras we will be heading for a couple of days exploring uh some of the forland
57:10
islands where there are some Wildlife Birds particularly a couple of penguin colonies there we then head off to South
57:17
Georgia where I think we have three or four days uh exploring again very heavy
57:22
kind of wildlife related stuff there Elephant Island um which we did go to the Pont thing
57:29
which has in remember was lots of uh again penguin colonies then we're going to explore you know this is where you
57:37
would really hit all the the ice and the icebergs um and you know it's mostly
57:42
Penguins hopefully you see more whales here um and then it's a mixture of zodiac uh excursions around these
57:48
beautiful Bays uh we used to preco uh it would normally involve stopping off and
57:55
calling on a one of the research stations certainly when we went 21 that wasn't possible hopefully maybe now it's
58:02
a bit more distance with the co thing hopefully we get to visit a a search station which is really interesting um
58:07
you know these people are there they've wintered the whole year they they there for a year or two then the S sh Islands
58:13
which is quite interesting learning again about the whaling industry big important wailing industry a couple of
58:19
abandoned places there then to pter Williams uh there so basically the the
58:25
off exploration is zodiac so it's a mixture of zodiac tours um and um so you
58:33
might just go out on Zodiacs and explore around um or or it's Landings where you can hike to penguin colonies and so on
58:40
so so you know there's no Excursion not traditional excursions as such everything is done kind of on on Zodiacs
58:48
uh either wet Landing so you have to your boots with PL you waterproof trousers over them obviously all your
58:55
all your kind of gear and and stuff as well your layers um so let's have a look so we wly around our time to see if I've
59:02
I think I think I have managed to answer every single question which is fantastic
59:08
news so just a reminder then I will definitely try and do a live stream from
59:13
the ship of AOS can do some updates follow me on Instagram where I will definitely try and be posting uh stories
59:19
uh the cruise Maps if I mentioned the beginning of the cruise Maps thing they had now launched the album we can collect um A4
59:26
of your uh Cruise map things take a look if you if you scan that go to the cruise
59:32
maps.com if you look at shop you'll find those there if you use this link you'll get 10% off any order whether it's the
59:38
the maps or or whatever uh so have a great great great time I'm very excited
59:43
hopefully I will be speaking to you in a week's time uh having spent a bit of time I think we've done the forcl we
59:50
heading uh from the forland uh down to our next stop in south Georgia so a lot of it depends on what the Wi-Fi stuff
59:56
likes so thanks for joining I now have to join maret um hopefully for dinner and we'll be presumably getting more
1:00:01
excited about our trip so take care and have a great uh a great week
