Saga Cruises Spirit of Adventure Keel Laying (in under a minute!)

One of the most significant and important milestones in the building of a new cruise ship is the keel laying. I attended this for Saga Cruises second new cruise ship build ever for the Spirit of Adventure, which will be a sister ship to the Spirit of Discovery launching which launched in 2018. The ship is being built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany where this took place. A key part of the event is the pressing of specially minted coins into the first section fo the ship.
