Kayaking the Rideau Canal with the Family | Paddle Tales

I've spent the last 4 days exploring the Rideau Canal on my own by sea kayak and fishing kayak and the energy is about to change a whole lot with the arrival of my excited, 8-year-old daughter. My daughter and wife are joining me aboard our houseboat for the remainder of the week, and we're planning to continue paddling the Rideau River system as a family. One of my goals as a parent has been to expose my daughter to as many new and unique experiences as I can, so I'm looking forward to taking her paddling through the locks on the Rideau Canal for an adventure we won't soon forget.
