How To Sell on Facebook Marketplace for Beginners (2024)

Okay, everybody, if you want to use Marketplace to sell your stuff, you are in the right place

Let's see what we can do to sell our stuff. I'm going to be showing you step by step, what we can do to start selling here into

the Facebook Marketplace. So you don't have to be worrying about actually anything

So let's jump into it. Alright, so the first thing that I want to do here is to have an account, you don't need

to have a Facebook page account like this. I want to go into my personal account like this

And here to have the home section, the friends, watch Marketplace and gaming option

If I go into the home section, I can, of course, see the Marketplace available in here

If this is the first time that you appear in here, it's going to be telling you something

like this. Let's start with the introduction of the Marketplace on Facebook

Let's see what you can do here. If you know how does Amazon, how does eBay works

Well, actually, there's nothing that you won't understand because it's going to be really

really easy. So the first thing that I'm going to be showing you is how you can buy in a very safe way

inside Marketplace. So first of all, you want to look for something that you would like to purchase, right

For example, let's say that I want to look for something like not so hard to find, like

an iPhone charge. Now in here, as you can see, it appears a lot of options, but actually this one appears

into Spanish. As you can see here into my computer, I'm pretty sure it doesn't appear in here, but

here into my computer appears that I'm currently based into Mexico City

So Facebook's going to be helping us to filter all the information located where I'm currently from

So here as you can see, all the surroundings are Mexico City, right

So I'm going to hit into apply, or you can use select the option that says location and

choose something else and hit into apply. So once you hit into apply and choose the radio you want to sold by, here's the price

the condition, the date listed, the availability, and here are all the categories

What you just want to focus just to make sure that you have like the right and secure pose

in order to buy from this seller is to go into the option that says date listed, and

I want to choose last seven days, conditioned, depending on what kind of condition that you're

looking for. I want to choose used like new and new. And of course, I want to go into the search bar and then I can just clear this for a second

and I can just see what is the best option for me, right

So for example, let's say that I am interested into these Mac safe charger

So I clicked in here and I can see an image of this charger, but I can only see the box

So I think that I would love to do here is to see more about the item, right

So if I scroll a little bit down, here is the seller information

The seller does not have any kind of rated yet. Don't comment

Actually, there's nothing available for this guy. So that's one thing that you need to consider before you buy into the marketplace

So I won't trust this guy because it feels like this is a new account or this is not

so too secure. So I want to choose something else. For example, let's see the second one

All right. So here into the second one, I do have two pictures

I can see something more about the item. Here is where the person is located

This is the seller information. And once again, this person does not have any kind of, let's say reviews or any of that

So I just want to look for something that can be helping me to just to make sure that

this is going to be a really great purchase. So as you can see into this seller information, I can see that this person has more than two

hundred and forty three purchases made. This one has four or five stars

So if I choose the seller details, I can see what's the badge, how are the sellings, what's

it about, what they do well, what they can do better, what are the listing of those guys

And then we can just go and so on and on. And you can just go into the same seller and message message

If this if this item is available, hit into send and you can use start to make trades

And it's going to be really, really easy. Now, if you want to be into the other side of the marketplace, if you want to stop selling

what you want to do is to go into the X button, go ahead into the marketplace like if this

was the first time you are in here. And as you can see, I do have the browse all notifications and box buying and selling

So what I want to do is to look for the create new listing

So as you can see, the great the great way part of Facebook is that Facebook is not going

to be charging us for absolutely anything at all. So you want to choose the listing type

If this is an item for sale, it be a call home for sale or rent

So you want to choose the option that fits for you the best

And here into the preview tab, what you want to do is to add all the photos that you can

from your item. And you can upload those directly from your phone if you want to

If you don't have one in your computer, you can do it. Actually, you can do this as well into your phone if you are willing to do this into the

application inside the application of Facebook using your phone is actually really, really simple

So what I want to choose is, let's say, iPhone accessory, save

And lastly, what I just need to do is to import the price. So all of these features you guys know how to do

This is really easy. Just input the title, input the price here into the category

What you want to choose is the right option. In my case is something about mobile phones

The conditions is new. The compatible cell phone is, let's say, the iPhone XS optional watch band material

If you are not bargaining the price, just put it into the description

this was not good. This was a great buy. The price was really easy to find or hard to find

The people or the person that say the seller arrived too late to the meeting, something

like that. So that's the reason. That's how we can earn more and more stars and great reviews and ratings here into Facebook

So as you can see this, the listing of my stuff. So now we can go into my profile and go into the seller dashboard to see what I do have

for selling. So as you can see, that's how we can do this. It's really easy to post listing here into the marketplace

We just need to wait until let's say 24 hours to the listing, finish the review process
