How To Add Testimonial Slider to Shopify in 2024

Welcome back everybody to Techspress. In this tutorial let's see how we can add

the actual testimonial slider into your Shopify store. So as you can see here I

don't have these great products and what I wanted to do is to add a testimonial

stuff into the let's say the header or the folder of my website. So there's

actually two things that you can do. The very first one and the most easiest one is to go into your applications in your left part and here I wanted to go into

testimonials and find this into my Shopify App Store. Usually it's going to

be showing you a lot of reviews that you can download totally for free. I just

wanted to make sure this one has great reviews, strong ratings and a free plan

so you don't have to pay like a lot of that. So you need to install the

application and import your own custom testimonials. The second thing that I

could totally suggest you is to open a new tab and look out for elfsite.com

Elfsite is a great section that you can add stuff totally for free. So if you go

into the elfsite.com, I'm going to hit into logged in or sign up for free. I'm

going to hit into my catalog, catalog home and here I'm going to look for

testimonial slider. As you can see here it is. So I choose this element and

here I can choose the element that I wanted to add, whatever template. Let's say

for example here I have the slider, the rotator, the carousel, the cards. Let's

focus into the slider actually, it's actually really really simple. Choose with it and I'm just going to add this testimonials as an example but you can

just create and import your own as you're just getting started with. So with

those elements that has been now been added you can change the content, the

layout, the testimonial appearance, how it's going to be looking like into red or

into pink, into blue and here into your settings you can check it out, the

language, the schema, the sorting and the open links into a new tab. After that

we're going to hit now into Publist and it's going to be asking you to pick a plan to install the widget. You don't have to be discouraged about this part

because we can use a light plan. A light plan is only available for only one

website, 200 views, one widget at a time and that will be actually it. So we're going to

hit now the light version and as you can see in beamed code. So usually the in

beamed code is the desired place of our website. So what I wanted to do is to go

here into my copy code and now I'm going to go back into my Shopify store and if

I focus into the pages I have the contact us section of my online store

pages. So here I have my content. I wanted to enable the show HTML file. I'm

going to click enter a few times and paste my script. So now I'm going to hit

into save. I disable the show editor and now what I want to do is to go into view

my page just to make sure that this testimonial is actually working into my

website. And there you go as you can see here are the free testimonials and it is

the actual slider working really great. So as you can see it's actually really

simple to add your testimonials into your Shopify. So we have now reached at the
