Metalworking Masterclass: Fidget Spinner Fabrication with a Water Jet Cutter

Saw Blade Fidget Spinner Powered By 60,000 PSI Waterjet We came up with one of the least efficient ways to cut a board using a fidget spinner and a waterjet cutter! Its water cutting metal again.... We cut a saw blade shaped fidget spinner out of steel, then glued a bearing in and mounted it on a stand so the spinner would stand up vertically. Then we cam in from the side to just hit the edge and start spinning it. It spun so fast that it flew off and luckily didn't hurt anyone. So we welded the bearing in and tried again. It didn't spin as freely but was absolutely terrifying and our amazing invention actually cut wood. I think the water jet cutter would have done a better job cutting the wood though.
