0:01
hi it's Lindsay Diane from
0:03
dianetacor.com today let's talk about
0:06
seven affordable home decor brands that
0:09
you need to know about with more and
0:11
more companies adopting the marketplace
0:13
model like Amazon it's important to know
0:16
which brands to Target from certain
0:19
sites rather than the site itself for
0:23
instance with Walmart we always used to
0:26
be able to go to walmart.com we'd know
0:28
the quality we know we get something
0:30
really inexpensive but nowadays when you
0:34
go on Walmart.com you may be buying from
0:37
a third-party seller in a brand that
0:39
you've never heard of that isn't a part
0:41
of Walmart at all they're just selling
0:43
on the Walmart website and so it's
0:46
important now to key in on the good
0:49
brands that we now have great quality
0:51
and offer affordable prices and are
0:55
reliable with their shipping in this
0:57
video I'm going to share with you seven
0:59
of the affordable home decor brands that
1:03
I've found that are just top tier and
1:05
are great for when you are trying to
1:07
decorate on a budget the Sprint is
1:09
Sonoma goods for life now this is a
1:12
brand that's exclusive to Kohl's in
1:15
addition to their fashion line they also
1:18
offer a wide range of Home Decor window
1:21
treatments bedding area rugs and
1:26
most of the furniture on their website
1:28
ranges between a hundred and three
1:30
hundred dollars I didn't really see
1:33
anything in their collection that was
1:34
over five hundred dollars and their
1:37
standout items are their wreaths their
1:40
vases and their decorative pillows next
1:43
is threshold threshold is one of
1:46
Target's in-house Brands now Target does
1:49
a lot of Collections and collaborations
1:51
with designers and they have a lot of
1:54
really great lines but the threshold
1:56
line in particular is the standout for
1:59
me because they have so much to choose
2:03
from and the prices are fantastic
2:07
if you don't know which design style
2:10
you're really going for if you're just
2:12
setting up shop or if you are just
2:15
wanting to see what's available
2:18
go to the thresholds line they're going
2:21
to offer you a variety of decorative
2:24
Styles unlike some of the other
2:26
collections at Target that are very
2:28
narrowed in they kind of stay in their
2:30
Lane like Magnolia which was Modern
2:32
Farmhouse and now kind of moving into
2:35
that modern organic there's the studio
2:38
McGee line that is more of the
2:40
transitional contemporary look and they
2:43
also have like the opal House Collection
2:44
which is more boho and eclectic they
2:47
have project 62 which is more modern and
2:50
Glam but threshold covers the entire
2:53
Gambit and the prices are the best in
2:56
that line number three is Better Homes
2:59
and Gardens now you can get this at
3:02
Walmart exclusively their Furniture is
3:06
by far the best part of their collection
3:09
they also have home decor of course they
3:12
have home organization baskets candles
3:14
wax warmers just about anything and then
3:17
also they have the kitchen and dining
3:20
for me personally you really can't go
3:23
wrong with any of it but I particularly
3:25
love their furniture collection I had a
3:29
coffee table from Better Homes and
3:30
Gardens that moved with me three or four
3:32
times over the course of about 10 years
3:35
and before it really started falling
3:37
apart it was fantastic it was solid it
3:41
was sturdy and it just had a beautiful
3:44
style to it also their kitchen line is
3:47
great most of my dishes are from The
3:49
Better Homes and Gardens line the only
3:51
thing that I've ever gotten there that I
3:53
was disappointed with was a beverage
3:55
dispenser I'll try to link it or show it
3:58
on the screen if I can I had an accident
4:01
with it I'm not really sure what
4:03
happened I was cleaning it before party
4:05
for its very first use and under the hot
4:09
water it just burst and cut my hand and
4:12
I can only think that it was the the
4:14
water temperature although my hands were
4:17
in the water so it didn't seem like it
4:19
should have been that hot to burst the
4:20
glass but it did it didn't bang up
4:22
against anything it just shattered in my
4:25
hands and I was so so disappointed
4:27
because it was gorgeous
4:31
you really can't go wrong with anything
4:33
from The Better Homes and Gardens line
4:35
it's great quality and beautiful styles
4:39
next up is the home decorators
4:41
collection now this is the line that was
4:44
bought out by Home Depot I talked about
4:46
them a little bit in my video about the
4:50
15 places to shop for home decor that no
4:53
one talks about I'll link that video
4:55
below as well it's a line that home the
5:00
home decorators collection
5:02
carried thousands and thousands and
5:04
thousands of items and they would
5:06
distribute to a bunch of retailers Home
5:08
Depot bought them out a while back and
5:11
it added those thousands and thousands
5:14
of home decor items to their catalog and
5:17
it's just it's kind of like threshold
5:19
you can get something in just about any
5:21
style and at just about any price point
5:24
so there's a wide range of the prices
5:27
there but there's also a wide range in
5:29
the Styles so if you are just browsing
5:31
around and you don't know exactly what
5:33
style you like and you want to see
5:35
everything that's available check out
5:37
the home decorators collection at Home
5:39
17 stories is a collection that you can
5:43
find at Wayfair but also on the sister
5:46
sites of Wayfair like Joss and Main all
5:49
modern and Birch Lane now 17 stories is
5:54
a humongous line and just like the home
5:57
decorators collection the price range is
6:00
very broad so if you go to Wayfair and
6:04
you look up 17 stories and you see a
6:06
sofa there that says it's three thousand
6:07
dollars or five thousand dollars don't
6:10
be scared off there are plenty of
6:12
affordable items in their collection
6:13
just make sure you go ahead and narrow
6:15
it down by the price range you're
6:16
looking for and you're sure to find
6:18
something there the ratings on the 17
6:21
stories products are phenomenal everyone
6:25
seems to love them I think I have a set
6:27
of candid kitchen canisters that are
6:30
from 17 stories they're great quality I
6:33
I love them I have no complaints and the
6:36
prices are always great and also
6:39
remember that because they're at
6:40
Wayfarer they have the open box sales as
6:44
well so if you want to save a little bit
6:45
extra money go to the open box section
6:48
of Wayfair then narrow down your brand
6:51
to 17 stories in the category that
6:53
you're looking for and you may find a
6:54
really great deal Cosmo living by
6:57
Cosmopolitan is a lot like Better Homes
6:59
and Gardens in that you can't buy it
7:01
from the Cosmopolitan website and yes
7:04
I'm talking about Cosmopolitan the
7:06
magazine that we all used to read as
7:08
kids it's they have their own decor and
7:11
Furniture line called Cosmo living you
7:14
can buy it at Walmart but you can also
7:16
buy it at Wayfair Coles and a few other
7:19
places online now the cosmo living Line
7:23
Stands out to me because it is this Glam
7:26
modern Vibe you don't see a lot of that
7:30
most of the home decor that we see
7:32
nowadays is going to fit into that
7:33
modern organic or the transitional or
7:36
the boho or eclectic but there there's
7:40
not a lot of Glam outside of places like
7:42
Z Gallery or a few other more boutique
7:45
stores you don't see a whole lot of Glam
7:49
Decor lines in these mainstream big box
7:53
places like Target or Walmart so I like
7:57
the cosmo living line for that it's kind
7:59
of a refreshing look there's lots of
8:01
shiny metals and Silvers and Sleek
8:04
Silhouettes and the prices are really
8:07
great last but not least is opal house
8:10
from Target opal house is the brand that
8:15
you want to go to if you want to infuse
8:17
some texture and some color into your
8:21
decorative accents or into your home via
8:23
your decorative accents this is that
8:27
Artisan boho eclectic vibe that just it
8:32
brings character to your space
8:34
everything that I see from opal house
8:36
just has this richness about it whether
8:39
it's the colors or the materials that
8:41
they've chosen it's just very very nice
8:44
the prices there are really good I most
8:48
of the furniture is around that 300
8:51
price point or less I think there are
8:54
very few items that are a little bit
8:56
over that but for the most part if
8:58
you're looking for the furniture I think
9:00
you're 300 or less if you're looking for
9:02
decorative accents fifty dollars or less
9:05
they have wall art they have little
9:09
figurines and decorative objects they
9:12
have window treatments that are really
9:13
lovely it's not nearly as big as a
9:16
threshold line but I think it's really
9:18
worth a look that's it for this video I
9:20
hope you found it helpful don't forget
9:22
