.com today I want to show you how you
0:07
can save a ton of money decorating your
0:09
home by shopping the like new items on
0:13
Amazon and the Amazon warehouse
0:15
like new items on Amazon are items that
0:19
have been returned but are still in
0:21
their original packaging although from
0:23
time to time the original packaging may
0:25
be damaged because they've been returned
0:27
once you can actually get an incredible
0:29
deal just on buying the like new items
0:32
from Amazon there are two ways to go
0:35
about it and I'm going to show you how
0:36
to do it okay I'm going to share my
0:38
screen with you right now so that I can
0:40
show you exactly where to go on the
0:42
Amazon website to search for the like
0:45
new items
0:47
okay so you see here I've pulled up a
0:50
wall mounted mirror this is a very nice
0:52
mirror it has great reviews 4.4 Stars 6
0:57
800 ratings in the buy new price is
1:00
42.33 now this is already marked off
1:03
marked down it's saying that it's 29 off
1:06
right now but if I scroll down further
1:09
on the right hand side there's a new
1:11
radio button there that says save with
1:14
used like new
1:16
2766 item will come in original
1:19
packaging packaging will be damaged
1:24
so they're giving you a heads up they're
1:27
telling you it's like new and it is in
1:28
its original packaging here is where you
1:31
would want to select if you wanted to
1:32
purchase this like new and the other
1:34
thing that you want to look out for is
1:36
who is selling it this is an item that
1:39
ships from Amazon and is being sold by
1:42
Amazon and you want to look out for that
1:43
you want something that's either
1:45
fulfilled by Amazon and sold by the
1:46
Amazon warehouse or you want something
1:49
that is shipped and sold from the actual
1:53
manufacturer or brand in this case it
1:56
would be new type okay just for
1:58
comparison I want to show you not every
2:01
item will have the option to buy like
2:03
new because frankly if nothing's been
2:05
returned there's nothing for them to try
2:06
to resell or liquidate here is another
2:09
full-length mirror it's priced at 49.99
2:12
you can see here there's free returns
2:15
you can purchase it however what you'll
2:18
notice that's different between the
2:21
previous listing is that there are no
2:22
little radio buttons to select it
2:25
doesn't say buy new at the top and when
2:27
you scroll down further there are no
2:28
other options so this is your only
2:30
option here to buy it new from the
2:34
seller
2:35
if you really want to Target items that
2:39
may have a like new version available to
2:41
buy you want to look at the best sellers
2:43
the best sellers with high ratings
2:46
indicate lots of sales and in the end
2:49
the number of returns that are available
2:51
is really just a numbers game
2:53
if there are a lot of sales they're
2:55
going to be a certain percentage of
2:57
returns if there are very few sales
2:59
there may not be many returns available
3:01
if any so start by targeting those best
3:05
sellers those Amazon Choice items those
3:09
are the ones that get pushed in the
3:11
ranking on the Amazon search and because
3:14
they're towards the top more people tend
3:16
to buy them and you know if a thousand
3:19
people buy them at least 10 people are
3:21
going to return them
3:23
okay here's the second way that you can
3:25
search for like new items on Amazon
3:27
you're going to want to browse the
3:30
Amazon warehouse directly and so you can
3:32
go to Google and just type in Amazon
3:34
warehouse and that will send you a link
3:37
that goes directly to that Amazon
3:39
warehouse landing page there you're
3:42
going to see it right across the top it
3:44
says quality pre-owned using open box
3:46
items you can browse on the left hand
3:48
side for me I would go to the Home
3:51
Products home and kitchen home decor and
3:53
just kind of browse around and see
3:54
what's there
3:56
um let's see I do see something here
3:58
that's very popular although I
4:00
definitely don't need it and it's the
4:02
wake up uh sunrise and alarm
4:05
it's not exactly Decor but just for
4:08
comparison's sake let's take a look at
4:09
the price they are selling this for
4:12
33.68 like new and I'm going to go to
4:16
amazon.com and copy and paste and put
4:19
that title in there just to see
4:22
how much it is over there on the brand
4:25
new and it's
4:27
39.98 what makes the Amazon like new
4:30
items really special is that they aren't
4:32
final sale like with some other sites
4:34
for example Wayfair if you buy their
4:36
open box items they you can't return
4:39
them their final sale but with Amazon
4:41
you do still have their generous return
4:44
policy which I think is really fantastic
4:46
and it takes the worry out of purchasing
4:50
something that's already been returned
4:52
basically they're guaranteeing hey this
4:54
is in perfect working order and if it
4:56
isn't you can return it so that's how
4:58
you can save yourself a little bit of
5:00
money shopping online for like new items
5:03
on Amazon if you want some more ideas
5:05
for where to save and find deals on home
5:08
decor come on over to Diane decor.com I
5:11

your home on a budget thanks for
