**Ingredients:**
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional for a bit of heat)
- 1 can (28 oz) of crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup of dry white wine
- 4 cups of seafood or chicken broth
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 pound of mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, fish fillets)
- 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
