if you're looking for an awesome quick
0:02
snack that's perfect for kids and adults
0:04
like these cheddar pea and onion Puffs
0:07
are perfect start by making your filling
0:10
which is just cheese peas a diced onion
0:14
and an egg mix that all together if
0:17
you've got children who hate onion you
0:19
can M that out or Blitz it into a puree
0:22
before you add to the filling now get a
0:24
sheet of puff pastry cut it in a half
0:27
down long ways and then into five five
0:31
so that you end up with 10
0:34
rectangles then you'll simply get your
0:36
filling and Spoon it onto one half of
0:39
each of the rectangles when you've made
0:41
these once and you see how easy they are
0:44
you'll be able to get super creative
0:45
with the fillings and make them over and
0:48
over again I love having them in the
0:50
freezer and you just you can freeze them
0:53
either before you cook them or
0:55
afterwards um and they're just a great
0:57
handy snack to have around now fold the
1:00
rectangles over and pinch down just to
1:04
kind of cover that filling do this with
1:06
each of them and then get a fork and
1:09
press around the edge to really crimp
1:11
that pastry in place if you don't do
1:14
this you will risk your filling
1:15
exploding out of your pastry um so just
1:18
do that with all of them and then prick
1:22
the center of each one with the fork as
1:24
well this is to let the air out while
1:27
it's
1:28
baking now egg wash
1:30
um just beat one egg and then brush that
1:32
over each of the pastry squares and then
1:35
you're going to want to bake these in
1:36
the oven at
1:38
180° for about 20 to 25 minutes until
1:42
they look like this puffed up Golden and
1:45
delicious
