We Tried to Identify a Mystery WW2 U Boat at 55 Metres!

Can a propeller reveal the identity of a mystery German U boat? The Gasperados recently dived an unidentified Type VIIC U boat resting on its port side at 55 metres. Despite being dived many times before, nobody has conclusively identified it. We hoped that cleaning the exposed starboard propeller might reveal identifying numbers. Unfortunately, the steel propeller had deteriorated badly after decades underwater.
