WOODTURNING the BIGGEST HOLLOW Black Locust BURL EVER!

Woodturning this incredible hollow form using some off cuts black locust burl wood and silver epoxy resin. Once the wood was dried in the oven to drop moisture content I began to trim the wood to fit into my mould then was time to mix up some deep pour epoxy resin. Added silver colouring as I wanted something little different. Then it was time to put it up on my woodturning lathe and start shaping. To keep its natural wood look I did not apply my usual spray lacquer finish and instead when with high grit sanding then a little buffing finish.
