Crafting a Blue Ocean Dragon Egg Out of Wood

In this week’s video, I will be transforming a piece of burl wood into a stunning hybrid dragon egg with an ocean themed layout. The surface of the burl was covered in quick drying resin and coloured then carefully placed some shells and a little fish to create the ocean underwater life vibe. Was casted in clear deep pour epoxy resin and after 1 week of curing it was ready to go on my woodturning lathe to shape it. Sanded to 3000 grit and polished to high gloss look.
