I was not sure where I am going with this…but the result will impress you

Woodturning this incredible hybrid pine cone night lamp out of epoxy resin and pine cones. I mixed Ferrari red deep pour resin and yellow mica powder colours resin to achieve this great colours. Certainly, the red is a lot more dominating though. I used my vacuum chamber to get rid of all the bubbles then also let to cure in my pressure pot for the best result. After carefully turning this on my woodturning lathe it was ready for several layers of clear gloss lacquer. I used LED strip lighting on the inside.
