Hey guys, what's up everyone? Welcome back to a new video. My name is Stefan. I create easy to follow and beginner friendly cryptocurrency guides and tutorials
0:08
And in today's video, I want to show you how to buy cryptocurrencies using Euros
0:14
Now, many of my viewers actually come out of the Eurozone and a lot of you have asked me to provide a quick and easy way on how to buy cryptocurrencies using Euros
0:24
Specifically, a lot of you wanted to know how to deposit Euros to Binance
0:28
So we are going to use binance to do this whole process and i'm going to guide you through step by step as in most of my videos
0:35
There is also a written step-by-step instruction that I have provided on my website
0:39
I will show you that in a second. You will find it in the show notes below You can pull that up while you are following through the tutorial. All the links are included in there
0:48
all right guys as i said there is the written article i'll leave the link in the video description
0:59
below so you can pull that up but this is the written step-by-step instruction that you can
1:04
just pull up while you're following through with this video to have something open on your site
1:09
all the links that you need for this tutorial are included in there as always i try to make this as
1:14
simple and as easy as possible. Now in this tutorial I'm going to show you two different
1:18
ways on how to deposit crypto or how to deposit euro on Binance and how to buy cryptocurrency
1:24
using euros on Binance and one of them is the SEPA bank transfer which is a very popular protocol
1:32
over here and it actually has zero fees when you use Binance with that which is great and I also
1:37
show you how to deposit euros to Binance using your credit card. So I've been using Binance since
1:42
around 2017 and I choose Binance because I found it really easy to use and also because it is the
1:49
biggest cryptocurrency exchange out there. As you guys know I come from a cyber security background
1:54
so I put a very high focus on security and Binance is one of the few exchanges I trust with my banking
2:00
and credit card detail. Now if you don't have a Binance account yet the first thing we need to
2:05
obviously do is to sign up for Binance. If you choose to sign up for Binance using my link you
2:11
get a 5% commission on all of your trades that you do for life. So it would be really great if
2:17
you use this link to sign up for Binance because you get some discount on your trades and you also
2:21
help out my channel at the same time. I will leave the link for you on the screen right here. You also
2:27
find the link in the video description below. Even if you use my links which are always safe
2:33
always check if you end up on binance.com and not some other website. I discourage you from
2:39
googling for Binance if you want to go to Binance directly and don't use my link just type in
2:45
binance.com directly into your browser bar to be safe. Now once you go through the onboarding
2:51
process of Binance which requires you to enter your email address and stuff like this the next
2:56
step we are going to do to add another layer of security is to enable two-factor authentication
3:01
Okay once you are through the onboarding and logged in you can go to your profile picture
3:06
up here and you click on security. Now once you are here you have a couple of options. I recommend
3:13
using Google Authenticator. Of course you can get a YubiKey if you want to but Google Authenticator
3:19
is the simplest choice for most of you. You can download Google Authenticator on either iOS or
3:25
Android and if you don't have enabled it here there will be an okay button which you can click
3:30
and that requires you then to go through the configuration process of Google Authenticator
3:36
which is self-explanatory. Again, I highly recommend you doing that to add another layer of security on top of your account
3:43
I discourage you from using SMS authentication because it has been breached in the past
3:48
and it doesn't count as secure anymore. And actually a lot of other places
3:53
already discourage you from using SMS authentication and even have removed it from their system
3:59
Now, I think this is just going to be something that Binance will deal with in the near future as well
4:04
and it will be removed. The next thing I highly recommend you doing is to do the identity verification on Binance
4:11
I'm not entirely sure if you are required to do this to be able to deposit euros using your bank account
4:17
because I'm already verified so I am enabled to do deposits with euros on Binance already
4:24
Just to make sure, get verified. I recommend it either way because it adds another layer of security on top of that
4:32
and it just requires you to send in a picture of your driver's license
4:36
your ID card or your passport and a picture of yourself. Then it takes a couple of hours usually for the verification process to go through
4:44
And as I said, I recommend you doing that regardless. There are a couple of other additional security measures here that you can choose to enable
4:52
but I encourage you to read through that yourself because it would be too long for this video
4:56
Okay once we are all signed up we are safely secured with the two authentication we can actually go ahead and deposit euros to Binance Now to do that you click on buy crypto and probably per default there will be USD So the first thing you want to do is you want to change USD to euro by just searching for euro
5:18
which automatically pops up some other options here that we have. Now first I want to show you the Zipa bank transfer thing
5:27
which is by clicking on a bank deposit right here. loads up in a couple of seconds and there we go make sure euro is selected right here and also
5:38
make sure that bank transfer zipa is selected here now you also have the chance from right here to go
5:43
over to credit card but we'll cover that in a second on an extra step you can also choose to
5:49
take klarna or sofort kasse i think it's in german or something or sofort überweisung
5:55
in German, a very popular payment processor as well, but it includes a 2% fee
6:00
so I don't see any reason to use that because all of the banks are supporting
6:04
bank transfer SIPA now, which has a zero fee, which I found is really, really great
6:09
Okay, now there is a caveat to that because if you deposit the money right now
6:15
and they don't give you a warning here, which I think they should, because it's not that obvious
6:20
If you put in five euros now, you could do that. You could transfer or deposit 5 euros there right now
6:27
Now, if you do that and then you want to go ahead and buy yourself some crypto, you might run into some problems because a lot of the cryptocurrencies that you can buy
6:35
have a minimum fee that you need or a minimum amount of money that you need to have
6:40
to be able to swap that euro into a cryptocurrency. And I show you where you can find that first
6:46
So you go to buy crypto and you go to cash balance because this is the point where you actually transfer your euros over to another coin
6:56
Now, if you go here, you see I have 11 euros on my euro account, on my cash balance account here
7:02
And if I want to go ahead and I want to buy, let's say, a Bitcoin, and let's say I want to buy Bitcoin for $10
7:10
you see that the amount should be between 15 and 12,500 euros
7:15
So if you would just transfer five, it wouldn't be enough. So be aware of that. go to the site first go to buy crypto and go to cash balance and then actually decide which coin
7:25
you want to buy in here now obviously this is not all the coins that um that binance is offering
7:33
this is just a selection that is able or enabled to be traded directly for euros so if your coin is
7:40
there let's say if you want to buy ethereum if you want to buy ethereum you see that you see that
7:45
the minimum amount should be 50 euros. So you know that, right
7:49
You know that you need to transfer or deposit at least 50 euros to make your purchase here
7:54
If your coin of choice is not there, the most available trading pairs
8:00
can be found with the USDT token, which is the USD Tether
8:05
It's a stable coin and most of the altcoins traded on Binance
8:10
are able to be traded with USDT. All of my tutorials are made with USDT as well
8:16
You'll find a lot of tutorials on my channel and on the website. And most of them are done with USDT
8:23
So USDT is a great choice. What I want to show you here is that the minimum amount required to get your hands on some USDT is 50 euros
8:33
So you see that here. If you want to buy USDT, you need to deposit at least 50 euros
8:39
Okay, let's go back to the bank deposit tab. I'm sorry this is a little bit longer but I just want to make sure to cover everything and I want
8:47
To avoid that you transfer some money there and then you have to wait another two days because you didn't transfer enough money
8:54
So I really want to make this thorough and really clear on how that actually works
8:59
Alright, we are back on deposit and bank deposit same thing before as before choose bank transfer
9:05
Now we know we need at least 50 euros to transfer there if we want to buy USDT or some other token
9:14
Good. We have the 50 euros in here. There is no transaction fee as you can see
9:19
Make sure to click on this here to agree that it's processed by the Clear Junction company
9:26
And once you click on continue, I need to hide my details here when they pop up
9:32
I'll click on confirm. they tell you in this window I cannot show you this because it would reveal some of my details
9:37
they will tell you here we only accept fundings from a bank account under your own name this is
9:44
the name that you have signed up for binance so make very sure that this is in check for you
9:50
and then click on confirm and once you click on confirm you see the banking details here which I
9:56
will also hide because there is my reference code in there you will see that here so the reference
10:02
This code is very, very important. You must include the reference code in your deposit
10:07
If you don do that your funds can be lost Probably they will be lost because you just transfer them to Binance You basically give Binance free money which they will be happy for but you will not get your money if
10:20
you don't put your reference code in there. So make absolutely sure to do that. There is the IBAN
10:24
number that you need to transfer your money to from your German or European bank account using
10:29
SIPA. So you put the IBAN there, you put the name there, which is Binance. And there's additional
10:35
information like BEC, BIC, a bank name and stuff like this, which is usually filled out automatically
10:42
There is the amount as well. It's written here, the amount that you want to deposit. Obviously
10:48
you need to do that with your own online banking. So you need to log into your online banking account
10:53
and you need to enter those details. You probably have done a transaction before. This is the same
10:58
thing, just a normal transaction. And I don't want to scroll down now because then I need to shift
11:02
around all the blurring that I'm doing currently to hide my details there
11:07
Just scroll down and read this. You must notice. Read through all of that and make absolutely sure you understand everything of it
11:15
And then you can go ahead and transfer those funds on your account
11:20
Some of the banking providers have, at least in Germany, we have something called like sofortüberweisung
11:26
which is like instant transaction, which I have available for my bank
11:30
which means the money will be there within a couple of minutes or maybe an hour or so
11:35
If you don't have that available, the payment probably will take, or the transaction will probably take somewhere between one and two days to arrive on your Binance account
11:45
And I'm sure they give you an email notification once your money arrives. This was a very long step, I know
11:50
But as I said, I want to make my videos and instructions really thorough. I don't want to leave anything out
11:56
Good. Now we are ready to look at the credit card option that we have
12:01
I will show you again how to exchange those euros once they are on your account
12:07
once they are transferred a little bit later. Now first we cover the credit card way of doing things
12:12
and then we are all on the same page and we can basically go ahead and do the last step
12:17
which is how to buy crypto using euros on Binance together. All right, click on buy crypto once more, make sure euros is selected here and then choose credit and debit card
12:29
And this is really as simple as it gets. My preferred way to do that is actually just because there are lower fees with using SEPA is to use the SEPA way
12:40
The faster way is to use the credit card way, obviously, because the money will be there instantaneously
12:47
same thing as with the bank deposit you have a minimum amount required to buy certain coins so
12:54
if you go to bitcoin there we have 15 dollars is actually a little bit lower i think than on the
12:58
on the other option there we can see we can buy ripple and stuff like this for a minimum amount
13:04
of 15 dollars so it seems like that the fees are different here than if you just do the euro swap
13:10
that I have showed you before. So whatever, let's choose USDT here as well
13:17
Just be aware of the minimum amounts here. And we can see that we can deposit a minimum of $15
13:21
using credit cards and the minimum for actual euro to swap deposited euros was $50
13:28
So there is a big difference. So if you just have a little amount of funds
13:31
this might be a better way for you to use. All right, let's put 15 USD here or 15 euros
13:37
which will equal to 17.77 USDT in the end. So just be sure of that, be aware of that
13:45
And once you are ready for that, click on buy USDT. Then you will be required to enter your credit card details
13:52
Obviously, just do that, follow through with that. And then your USDT is available to you immediately
14:00
Okay, now for the guys who did the SEPA transfer. Let's assume your money has arrived and you are ready to buy crypto for euros on Binance
14:09
To do that, click on buy crypto and then go back to cash balance
14:15
Now you have your euros available. You can see I only have 11 as I said
14:20
And let's say you want to buy Bitcoin or you want to buy USDT
14:26
Where is it? USDT. There we go. There is this. There is again the other limit, the $50 limit
14:33
and then you just put your 50 dollars in here, your 50 euros in here, and you see that you will receive 59.22 USDT for your trade
14:42
And once you click on there and you have the balance available there, you immediately have access to your USDT or to whatever coin you want to buy
14:50
and you are free to exchange that to another token. All right, guys, even this is not a complete how to use Binance tutorial
14:57
that will be coming up in the future. But I don't want to leave you hanging right now and you have your USDT and you don't know
15:05
where to go from here and you would need to search another video. I just cover really quick how to buy cryptocurrency for your USDT right here
15:13
As I said there are a bunch of different tutorials on my YouTube channel and on my blog that you can follow along as well But a very simple way on how to do that and a reason why I like Binance that much is that they make it really simple for you to trade certain pairs
15:27
So you can go to trade and you can go to convert
15:34
Now, this is not as overwhelming as looking at a trading window
15:38
with all those graphs and stuff in there, which can discourage a lot of people from doing anything really
15:44
But this is a really easy conversion. So you can see that this is the USDT pair here
15:49
You can obviously select another pair if you want to. But let's go with the USDT for now
15:54
And let's say you want to convert those USDT to ADA Cardano
16:00
Very easy way. You just put in the minimum amount that you want to buy Cardano for
16:05
Let's say 10 USD. And then you click on preview conversion. Then you get the quote of the current market price
16:12
Sometimes, sometimes it fails. Sometimes you get one. Let's try that again
16:18
Okay, failed to get quote. We quickly refresh that page. That sometimes happens because Binance is under heavy load right now
16:26
Let's do ADA again. Let's try that once more. And there we go
16:33
The quote only lasts for around four seconds. So you have to be quick to click on convert
16:39
Otherwise, you just have to refresh that. Let's do it to the market volatility of the coin
16:44
they can just hold that quote for so long but it tells you here that you get 11.7 cardano for your
16:51
15 usdt which is equal to one usdt for 0.78 cardano so this is the current market price
17:00
as i have said which means that this is a very easy way on how to convert stuff so if you click
17:07
refresh again and then you click on convert this means you have just bought 15 worth of cardano in
17:14
a really really easy way now if we go back here you can see that there is a lot of available
17:20
pairs like a lot of available currencies that you can buy that way that you can convert that way in
17:26
that easy way i don't know if that's all of the altcoins that's where the other option comes in
17:32
which is the classical spot trading and i show you this first because it's much easier and less
17:37
frightening than the spot trading window here but if you just want to see if there is maybe a
17:42
different coin available in the spot trading than it is on the conversion as i said i don't know if
17:47
all of those coins are available on this conversion window you go to trade you go to classic
17:52
and this is the classic trading window right here let's say we want to do the same thing we want to
17:58
buy cardano for usdt the first thing you can do is you can search for all of the usdt trading pairs
18:04
available by typing USDT in the search field or you just choose it from here from this fiat
18:11
menu and choose USDT and you can scroll down and find all of the different USDT trading pairs
18:19
right there now if you want to specifically search for ADA or any other coin really and see if there's
18:25
a USDT pair available we can also just type in this coin ADA has a lot of trading pairs available
18:30
even euros and then we can just choose for ada and let's see where is it probably somewhere on top
18:37
ada usdt there we go so we have ada usdt here then we scroll down a little bit we change limit
18:44
to market everyone who is more advanced knows what is limit but market basically means you buy
18:49
the currency at the current market price and then you can either enter a manual amount of usdt here
18:56
or you can use this percentage thing to move it around. And if you choose 15 USDT, you click on buy ADA
19:03
and then you have purchased some ADA directly at the current market price
19:07
which boils down to the same as if you just would do convert here
19:11
Just that the convert thing is way, way easier than the trading window if you are a beginner
19:17
All right, guys, let's wrap this video up here before it gets too long. What did we learn today
19:21
We learned how to deposit Euro to Binance using credit card and SIPA Bank Transfer
19:27
And we also learned how to buy crypto with euros using Binance in the easiest possible way
19:34
I hope this tutorial was clear enough for you. Let me know in the comments below. And as I said, pull up the written article
19:41
if you want to go through it more slowly. And if this video was helpful to you
19:45
obviously, guys, it would be really great if you did subscribe to my YouTube channel. I'm trying to grow this channel out as much as possible
19:51
in the next couple of months. And also give this video a thumbs up
19:54
and leave me a comment below with your opinion on this video. All right, guys, have fun buying your cryptocurrencies
20:01
and I really hope to see you back in the next video. Until then
