Highlight Every Other Weekend Date in Excel and Conditional Formatting
In this video, we look at two examples to highlight every other weekend date with Conditional Formatting. To do this we need to identify which day of the week a specific date is, and which week number is it. We can then target the dates that are a Saturday or Sunday, and those with an even week number (every other week). The first example highlights every other week from the beginning of the calendar year. The second example starts from a specified date such as the start date of a project. We build the formulas up in a cell and then copy them into the Conditional Formatting rule.
