Why electric car drivers are about to be taxed more

As the government prepares to introduce a pay-per-mile tax on electric cars, one trade association has warned the new levy may in fact cost the government money. BEAMA has told City AM that the tax may deter people from buying EVs, thereby losing the government billions in VAT.
