0:33
statutory deadline this week for a case
0:35
eight years in the making originally we
0:38
were turned away she says a last minute
0:40
order saved their appeal it's been very
0:43
stressful and very traumatic for my
0:45
client and I imagine for other taxpayers
0:48
and people in fton County attorney
0:50
Joshua shiffer says the entire system is
0:52
struggling when we can't represent our
0:54
clients by making requests the state
0:57
can't respond to them that grinds our
0:59
entire syst system to a halt his clients
1:01
are terrified of what that looks like

that's a really frightening thing when
1:05
you're talking about someone locked up
1:07
in Fulton County Jail a jail that has a
1:10
troubled history of working in the best
1:13
of times right now the Fulton County

Jail says it's doing as much as it can
1:17
manually we always had a bag up system
1:21
that would be prepared for any
1:22
contingency retired lieutenant Charles
1:24
Rambo says fcso prepares for situations
1:27
like this but on Monday the agent gen
1:30
told 11 alive it doesn't have access to
1:32
booking photos it's just not sound for
1:36
the facility itself to say that you
1:39
don't have a bag up system that accesses
1:42
booking photos on demand the county
1:44
hasn't provided information on when
1:46
systems could be restored but say they
1:48
are working to fix the issue Grace King
