So, you have your Fufu squishies, but
0:02
you want to take them with you. How
0:03
about whizzing up one of these super
0:05
drawstring bags? Really quick, really
0:07
simple. Just get a circle. A big dinner
0:10
plate is great. Maybe even a bigger
0:12
circle. And then cut two out. You're
0:15
going to need one in the fabric for the
0:16
outside and one in the fabric for the
0:18
inside. Can be the same, or you can use
0:20
two contrasting ones. And then put the
0:23
two together so that the right or the
0:25
wrong sides are together. and do two
0:27
little clips in about quarter of an inch
0:30
about an inch apart and just sew those
0:33
little flaps down. Then put both circles
0:35
together with the right sides facing and
0:38
pin all the way round. Sew round except
0:41
for where you did your little fold and
0:44
then turn the whole thing through to the
0:46
right side. Press it flat and you'll
0:49
have that lovely circle. Now you're
0:52
going to stitch all the way around the
0:53
edge except for where the little flap
0:55
was. And then an inch further in or half
0:58
an inch further in depending on your
0:59
drawstring. Sew all the way round. So
1:02
you're going to make a little casing to
1:05
put a drawring round. And then it's time
1:08
for the drawring. I use a safety pin to
1:10
put on the end just to feed it through.
1:13
All you're going to do is take your cord
1:14
or your ribbon or whatever you're using,
1:16
feed it all the way through, all the way
1:19
around and it'll pop out the way it went
1:21
in.
1:23
and then cut it to the length you want.
1:25
It doesn't matter how much you have so
1:27
long as your circle can lie flat and
1:29
you've still got some poking out.
1:33
Cut it to length and then tie those two
1:36
ends together
1:38
so they'll never disappear inside your
1:40
circle.
1:42
And then it's time to use your
1:44
drawstring bag.
1:46
So you can get your fufu squishies,
1:49
pop them inside,
1:52
draw it up, and take it away with you.
1:55
So if you want to take loads of these
1:57
with you, just get a bigger and bigger
1:58
circle and make a bigger and bigger bag.
2:01
You really can do these any size you
2:03
like, and you can use them for anything
2:05
you like. I've just found they're great
2:07
for the fufu squishies. So off you go
2:10
and get
