On today's episode from Sri Lanka we're cooking the world's most versatile fruit : JACKFRUIT. Enjoy by itself, in a dessert, curry, as a substitute for meat, eat the seeds, as a hamburger, drink it... the list goes on and on! Jackfruit is one of the most incredible ingredients and in Sri Lanka it is prepared in an endless amount of ways. Today we will cover as many of those jackfruit recipes as possible before trying our hand at throwing traditional Sri Lankan pottery in Udawalawa.
