July 14 2026 - Catholic Daily Gospel Reflection - You cannot keep asking God to bless your life
Jul 13, 2026
July 14 2026: Catholic Daily Readings and Gospel Reflection. You cannot keep asking God to bless your life while refusing to serve Him with your talents!
Welcome to today's Catholic daily readings and spiritual reflection for Tuesday, 14th July, 2026.
Today's Readings Web Page: https://catholicreadings.org/1407202-6/
What if God has already given you the signs, the chances, the warnings, the talents, the opportunities, and the grace you need - but you are still living as if nothing has happened?
In today’s Gospel, Jesus rebukes the towns where He performed mighty works because they saw His power, but they did not repent.
They received miracles, but they did not change.
That is a serious warning for us today.
Because grace wasted becomes judgment.
An opportunity ignored becomes regret.
Purpose delayed becomes pain.
Today’s message is clear: do not waste God’s grace.
Daily Dose of Motivation, Inspiration and Encouragement.

Do not receive another day and
0:02
[clears throat] waste it.
0:04
Do not receive talents and bury them.
0:07
Do not receive warnings and ignore them.
0:10
What if God has already given you
0:13
the signs, the chances, the warnings,
0:17
the talents, the opportunities, and the
0:20
grace you need, but you're still living
0:23
as if he has done nothing for you?
0:26
How does God feel?
0:29
You know, in today's gospel, Jesus
0:31
rebukes the towns where he performed
0:34
mighty works because they saw his power,
0:37
but they did not repent.
0:40
They received miracles, but they did not
0:42
change.
0:44
This is a serious warning for us today
0:47
because grace wasted becomes judgment.
0:51
Opportunity ignored becomes regret.
0:55
Purpose delayed becomes pain.
0:58
Today's message is clear. Do not waste
1:02
God's grace.
1:03
My good people, welcome to today's daily
1:06
dose of motivation, inspiration, and
1:08
encouragement.
1:10
Today is Tuesday of the 15th week in
1:13
ordinary time. You can get today's
1:15
Catholic daily mass readings at our
1:17
website,

and the link is in the description.
1:24
So, my good people,
1:26
uh in today's gospel, uh Matthew chapter
1:29
11, verse 20 to 24,
1:32
Jesus begins to reproach the towns where
1:36
most of his mighty deeds had been done
1:38
because they had not repented.
1:42
You know,
1:43
he mentions Chorazin, Bethsaida, and
1:47
Capernaum.
1:48
These were not places that lacked
1:50
evidence.
1:51
These were not towns that had never
1:53
heard Jesus' message.
1:56
These were not people who had never seen
1:59
the goodness of God.
2:02
They had seen mighty works of Jesus.
2:06
They had received light.
2:08
They had encountered the power of
2:10
Christ.
2:11
But they remain unchanged.
2:14
And that is the theme of today's gospel.
2:19
The theme is when God gives grace, he
2:23
expects response.
2:26
God does not bless us so that we remain
2:28
the same.
2:30
God does not speak to us so that we
2:33
continue sleeping spiritually.
2:36
God does not give us talents,
2:38
opportunities, warnings, and second
2:42
chances so that we can waste them.
2:46
He gives grace so that we may repent.
2:50
So that we may change,
2:52
grow,
2:53
serve, and bear fruit.
2:56
And this gospel
2:58
now goes very personal because
3:02
many of us are like these towns.
3:05
Yeah?
3:06
We have seen
3:08
seen God's goodness.
3:10
We have survived things that should have
3:12
that should have broken us.
3:14
We have received chances we did not we
3:17
did not
3:18
deserve.
3:19
We had seen or we have seen
3:22
forgiveness again and again.
3:25
Yeah? We have heard the word of God.
3:28
We have been warned through events,
3:31
through people, through failures,
3:33
through silence, through pain, and also
3:37
through blessings.
3:38
Yet sometimes we continue to live
3:42
casually.
3:44
We postpone repentance.
3:46
We postpone purpose.
3:48
We postpone prayer.
3:50
We postpone discipline. We postpone
3:53
service
3:54
and we say,
3:55
"I will change later.
3:57
I will begin later.
3:59
I will serve God later.
4:00
I will work on my purpose later."
4:03
But today, Jesus is saying, "How long
4:06
will you receive the grace and still
4:09
refuse to change?"
4:12
That is a strong message, but it is also
4:15
a loving message. Because Jesus corrects
4:19
those he loves.
4:21
He warns us before it's too late.
4:24
He shakes us before we waste our lives.
4:28
God did not create you just to exist.
4:32
He did not create you just to wake up,
4:36
to rush to work,
4:37
to chase money,
4:39
to complain about life and sleep tired
4:42
and repeat the same routine every day,
4:45
every day, every day.
4:47
God created you with a meaning. God
4:50
created you with purpose. God gave you
4:53
talents, passions, skills, knowledge,
4:57
experiences that are meant to serve him
5:00
and bless others too.
5:03
But purpose requires a response.
5:06
You cannot keep receiving inspiration
5:09
without action.
5:11
You cannot keep hearing the word of God
5:14
and you remain unchanged.
5:16
You cannot keep asking God to bless your
5:19
life while you're refusing to surrender
5:22
your life.
5:23
You know,
5:25
um repentance is not only about feeling
5:28
bad.
5:29
Repentance means turning.
5:32
It means changing direction.
5:34
It means saying, "Lord, I cannot
5:37
continue like this.
5:39
I cannot waste what you have placed in
5:42
me.
5:43
I cannot keep in living below my
5:45
calling."
5:46
Maybe God has given you a gift to teach,
5:50
but you're hiding it.
5:52
Maybe he gave you wisdom to guide
5:54
others, but you fear that you might be
5:57
silenced.
5:59
You may have You may give You may have
6:01
God may have given you creativity, but
6:03
your laziness is barring it.
6:05
Yeah? Maybe he gave you leadership, but
6:09
pride is corrupting it.
6:11
Maybe he gave you influence, but you're
6:14
using it for attention and not for
6:17
mission.
6:18
Yeah?
6:19
Today's gospel asks us
6:22
or asks you directly,
6:25
"What have you done with the grace that
6:27
you have received from God?"
6:30
Because the more God gives you,
6:32
the more he expects.
6:35
Yeah?
6:36
If he gave you knowledge, use it.
6:39
If he gave you talent, develop it.
6:42
If he gave you influence, use it
6:45
responsibly.
6:46
If he gave you a platform, speak truth.
6:50
If he gave you work, do it with
6:52
excellence.
6:53
If he gave you a family, serve them with
6:56
love. If he gave you faith, live it
7:00
courageously.
7:01
And let me say this clearly.
7:04
Before you can effectively serve God,
7:07
you must first identify
7:10
your God-given talents
7:12
and know why he created you and for what
7:15
purpose.
7:17
Only after serving After doing this,
7:20
will you be able to serve God
7:22
using those specific God-given talents,
7:26
using those skills that God has given
7:29
you, and the knowledge he has given you.
7:33
Because when you do not know your
7:35
purpose, you can waste your life on
7:37
things that look busy, but produce no
7:40
fruit.
7:42
You may be active but not aligned.
7:45
Tired but not fruitful.
7:47
Popular but not purposeful.
7:50
Successful in the eyes of people but
7:53
empty before God.
7:56
But when you discover why God created
7:58
you, your life becomes focused.
8:02
Your work becomes worship.
8:05
Your discipline becomes meaningful.
8:08
Your gifts become tools of service.
8:11
Your success becomes testimony.
8:15
And maybe
8:16
you're listening to this today and
8:18
saying,
8:19
Laban,
8:21
I don't know
8:22
God created me for what purpose.
8:26
And I want to know my gifts. I want to
8:29
have clarity
8:31
for my purpose.
8:32
Don't worry. I can guide you.
8:35
I can help you identify your God-given
8:37
talents. You can book a session with me.
8:41
Uh
8:42
you can go to my DM and write there,
8:45
I want to know my purpose.
8:48
I want to discover my purpose. And I
8:51
will get back to you.
8:53
Because
8:55
grace must first not be wasted.
8:59
The lesson of Chorazin, Bethsaida, and
9:02
Capernaum is this.
9:05
Do not see the works of God and remain
9:08
unchanged.
9:10
Yeah?
9:11
Do not receive blessings
9:14
and stay ungrateful.
9:16
Yeah? Do not receive talents
9:20
and bury them.
9:22
Yeah? Because
9:24
um
9:26
and also do not receive warnings and
9:28
ignore them.
9:30
Yeah?
9:31
Do not receive another day and also
9:34
waste that that that day on doing
9:36
nothing but God wants.
9:38
Today, repent.
9:40
Wake up. Reorder your life.
9:43
Put God first. Discover your purpose.
9:47
Use your gifts. Serve with urgency.
9:51
Because
9:53
uh
9:54
God has already done enough
9:56
to get your attention.
9:58
Now, it's your turn to respond.
10:03
My good people,
10:06
I will never tire,
10:08
like always, to tell you
10:11
do something today
10:14
and make sure that at least one person
10:16
that encounters you
10:19
will thank you
10:20
and say the God that you worship should
10:23
be praised and glorified.
10:26
And do your work with excellence.
10:28
Serve with humility.
10:30
So that
10:32
your works become
10:35
and your works in your life become a
10:37
testimony that God is real, that God is
10:41
good, and God is work in you.
10:44
And always attribute your success to
10:47
God.
10:48
Never say that you made it by your own
10:51
solo effort.
10:53
But say you have made it in life because
10:56
of the strength, grace, and providence
10:59
that God gives you.
11:01
And finally, if the message has touched
11:04
your heart,
11:05
has awakened something in you,
11:07
like this video, comment below, and
11:10
share it with somebody who needs to stop
11:13
wasting God's grace.
11:15
And remember to subscribe to my channel
11:18
