Stop Drawing AutoCAD Walls Twice
Aug 19, 2026
Still drawing one wall line and applying OFFSET again and again to create the second side?
MLINE creates multiple parallel lines from one cursor path, making it useful for walls, roads, pipes, insulation lines, and other parallel geometry.
Example setup:
Style: WALL
Offsets: +0.5 and -0.5
Justification: Zero
Scale: 20
Command sequence:
MLINE → Style WALL → Justification Zero → Scale 20 → Draw the Path
The resulting total width depends on the element offsets defined inside the multiline style. Verify the style before entering the scale value.
Use MLEDIT when the multiline intersections and corners require additional cleanup.
