Replace Every AutoCAD Block at Once!
Aug 5, 2026
Still replacing old AutoCAD blocks one-by-one?
The BLOCKREPLACE command searches the drawing for a specified block and replaces every instance with another block.
In this example, all old chair blocks are replaced with a new chair design in one operation.
Command sequence:
BLOCKREPLACE → Select Original Block → Select Replacement Block → OK
Make sure the original and replacement blocks have correctly positioned insertion points before running the command.
