Offset AutoCAD Walls in One Command with YQArch WWO
Sep 7, 2026
Still offsetting walls one line at a time in AutoCAD?
The YQArch WWO (Wall Offsetting) command creates a parallel wall at a set distance in one step, keeping the wall clean and connected. In this video we offset a 20 cm wall by 300 cm.
In this video, you'll learn:
• How to draw a simple wall (wall thickness 20 cm)
• How to offset a wall manually with OFFSET and re-trim
• How to use YQArch WWO to create a parallel wall at once
• How the new wall keeps its thickness and connections
Manual workflow:
Select Wall Line → OFFSET → Re-trim → Repeat
Faster workflow:
YQArch WWO → Pick Wall → Set Distance
This video uses AutoCAD 2021 with centimeters as the drawing unit.
YQArch is a plugin, not a native AutoCAD command. The interface and available options may vary depending on your installed version, language, selected style, and unit configuration. Always verify the final wall position and intersections before saving your project.
If this saved you time, subscribe for a new command every day.
