Hey, what's up you guys
0:01
So I just received my download link for the second Titanic Honor and Glory demo
0:06
I could spend a lot of time talking about what this game's about, or you could just check the link in the description and read more about the project
0:11
But basically it's a fictional game set on the RMS Titanic where you play a young college
0:15
graduate and he's trying to solve some kind of murder mystery thing, but that's not the
0:19
most exciting part. The best part about this game is it's a 100% to scale model of the Titanic that syncs in
0:25
real time. In case you guys didn't know, I am a huge Titanic fan, hence the poster
0:29
And I've literally been obsessing about the ship and the James Cameron movie since I was about 5 years old
0:36
The first demo came out a couple years ago, but they just released the second demo today
0:39
to people who have contributed to the game. So I'm going to try it out, I am beyond excited about this
0:45
So interesting enough, when I launched the game, it launched Oculus and Steam VR, so maybe
0:50
there's some kind of plan to do some VR integration, which I really, really hoped. I kind of, I was a little let down that this wasn't immediately available in this demo
0:56
maybe someone can figure out a hack to do it because that's really what I'm dying to experience
1:01
Cool. So it looks like it's loading in textures. So let's see. Um, I think this is a different area
1:07
than the first demo. I could be wrong. Cool. Good to know that my Xbox controller works
1:12
I think the thing that impresses me the most about these demos is the fact that the reflections
1:16
are so good on everything. Oh wow, it's really big. I wonder if I can actually go up to like
1:23
the main part of the grand staircase now. I know it was closed off last demo
1:27
So I think this is the first class dining area through here
1:31
I don't think I can go through doors though, right? Nope, can't go through the doors
1:35
So you can kinda see the first class dining area. Wow, it's really, really long
1:39
This definitely puts it into perspective for you My walking a little slow with the Xbox controller but all the better to take in the sights I think this was in the first demo as far as I remember Oh wow This piano is very elaborate Okay I thought the piano was elaborate
1:52
Look at this chair. Oh, it's kind of a cool view. I can see that being like a cool little wallpaper or something
1:59
There is water out there, and it's actually moving. That's cool. So let's go. Let's start going downstairs
2:05
E deck. Can we go down further? We can. F deck. Oh, this is the turkey shot
2:10
This is what I was looking for. Wow. They really went over the top with their patterns
2:19
Oh, what is this? What's that? It looks like a tanning bed
2:26
Ah, electric bath. Close. I feel like most people who play this game are huge fans of this ship itself, which I am too
2:31
I'm just not like a historian or whatever. I have no idea where I'm going
2:36
Scotland Road. Yeah, they had that in the first demo. I'm surprised they didn't include it in this one
2:41
I don't know why they would take it out, but I guess maybe they're just trying to show us different parts of the ship. Can I see up it
2:46
Oh, I see. I like how I'm trying to peek around. That's what VR does to you
2:52
Let's see. Ooh. Oh, you can't go in there, but you can kind of peek through the curtain
3:00
Long hallways. Oh my god. Okay, I said long hallways. What? Oh my god, I can go in here. Okay, so this is what I was talking about. It shows, um
3:12
Hussain in certain rooms. Oh my god, this corridor is so freaking long. I'm just in amazement of
3:18
like, how far back this goes. I'm gonna get lost. I'm gonna get lost in a demo
3:24
Oh this is that cafe I remember seeing pictures of this on their um Facebook page Wow this is really beautiful Like I have no other words to describe this other than beautiful like it like almost photo realistic like i swear this is like
3:40
so detailed so cool oh can you hear wait what was that
3:47
you can hear wind noises out the windows nice touch guys nice touch oh wow i feel like i'm
3:52
about to like walk into a restaurant or something oh like a mini oh my god like
3:55
Like, they actually included the menu here. That's so cool. Again, props to you guys
4:02
Wow. God, it just, like, takes me aback to walk in a room and just kind of see so much detail
4:09
And I've been looking at Titanic pictures since I was, like, five years old
4:13
And these just feel so, so real. And I watch the movie a lot, too. But unless you guys, hopefully this isn't, like, stuttering for you guys
4:22
But if you could just see, you know, how smooth this is and how, like, oh my god, the reflections, though
4:30
This is so, like, it almost makes me want to cry. Like, it's that beautiful. So here we go, you guys
4:41
The big reveal. The grand staircase. Oh my god. Whoa
4:52
I just got chills, like, literally running down my arm. God, like, this is so beautiful
4:59
Like, I've been to an exhibit in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and I kind of recreated the Grand Staircase there
5:05
I don't know if it was to scale or not, but, God, this looks so, so similar
5:10
Oh, my God. I just gotta take it in. Oh my God Oh my God I can wait till I can play this in VR Being able to walk up the grand staircase with 3D oh my god
5:25
I can't imagine. This is literally a dream come true for me
5:31
Oh my god. I just can't get over it. Is this a stateroom
5:36
Wait, I had no idea that there were any rooms directly attached to this
5:41
Just imagine, like, waking up in the morning, washing your face, stepping out your door
5:48
turning here, and bam! Like, oh my god. That's where I'm staying
5:52
If they rebuild the Titanic, that's gonna be my room. Probably not. So yeah, I've never seen this hallway
5:59
This woodwork is really, really nice. Gosh, I wish I could go outside now
6:03
I just want to keep experiencing more, but I know this is just... I mean, they said it's only 2% of the actual floor plan in this demo
6:09
So I am beyond thrilled by this demo. It's everything I could have asked for, just actually getting to walk up the Grand Staircase
6:17
and just experience it in all its glory. The only thing it's missing is VR support
6:21
Maybe it has and I just didn't figure it out yet. But this is going to be the game to get
6:27
Whenever this is released, 2017, 2018, 2020, this game is going to blow away all other historical games
6:35
So there you guys go. That was my walkthrough of the second demo of Titanic Honor and Glory
6:41
I may have missed something. Please let me know if I did. I'll definitely go back and explore this game
6:46
I'll probably be exploring it while I'm uploading this, so I'm that excited about it
6:50
Like I said earlier, if you want to check out more about this game, I put all the links down below for all the information you could want
6:55
And hopefully you guys are as excited about this game as I am. I think this is going to be, like, one of the coolest historical games I've ever experienced
7:01
So thank you so much for watching, and I'll see you next time
