Welcome to our daily encounter with the Word of God! Today, we present the readings of the day, which invite us to reflect on God's love, true faith and divine mission. Let's delve into the First Reading of 1 John 4,19-5,4 and the Gospel of Luke 4,14-22a, two passages rich in teachings and spiritual depth. First Reading (1 John 4,19-5,4): In this passage, the apostle John reminds us of the importance of love in our relationship with God and our neighbors. He teaches us that "we love because He first loved us", showing that God's love is the foundation of our faith and all our actions. John also states that whoever loves God must also love his brother, as love is the evidence of our genuine faith in Christ. He exhorts us to live in obedience to God's commandments, and it is through this obedience that we are able to overcome the world, that is, the temptations and difficulties we face on a daily basis. True faith, therefore, is that which manifests itself in love and obedience to God, and it is this faith that gives us victory over the tribulations of life. Gospel (Luke 4,14-22a): The Gospel according to Luke presents us with the beginning of Jesus' public mission. After being tempted in the desert, He returns to Galilee, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. He teaches in the synagogues, and everyone begins to speak well of him. Arriving in Nazareth, his hometown, He enters the synagogue and reads the book of the prophet Isaiah, proclaiming that "today the Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing." With this, Jesus reveals that He is the fulfillment of the messianic promises and that His mission is to bring liberation and salvation to all, especially to the oppressed. This passage invites us to reflect on the purpose of Christ's mission, which is to bring good news to the poor, heal the broken hearts and announce freedom to captives. Jesus' message is universal, and He calls us to be part of this mission of transforming the world. Today's readings invite us to reflect on God's unconditional love and the mission He entrusts to us. We are called to live this love in our daily lives, obeying God's commandments and sharing the good news of salvation with everyone around us. Share in the comments your reflections on these readings and how they impact your life and spiritual journey. 📖 Readings of the Day: First Reading: 1 John 4,19-5,4 Gospel: Luke 4,14-22a 🌟 Related Hashtags: #LeituraBíblica #ReflexãoDiária #AmorDeDeus #FéVerdadeira #MissãoDivina #EvangelhoDeHoje #1João #Lucas4 #Misericórdia #AmorAoPróximo #PalavraDeDeus #Bibliacatolica Be a member of this channel and earn benefits: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCA0qoQkWxIdKdMWJeUvhTZA/join Also follow us: Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/078dUHuvnVVyVqlv6ymKnl TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@bibliacatolicaonline Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bibliacatolica/ Telegram: https://t.me/bibliacatolicaonline
