Hey guys, it's Dave from AFPTcomics.com and I have a new unboxing for you which you may
0:14
not see coming because this is the Spider-Man Infinity War action figure from Marvel Legends
0:24
You can actually get it on Amazon if you can find it for maybe $40 to $20
0:31
Since it isn't in stores nationwide yet, it is tricky to find, but we're pretty excited
0:36
about this because we have a pretty cool Spider-Man collection that this might fit perfectly with
0:42
So let's unbox this and let's check it out. Alright, so as you can see, we've got the usual Marvel Legends series box with the window
0:49
and then where it's from and then the character's name. This time it says Iron Spider
0:54
You'll note that there are no Iron Spider arms that go on the back of the figure which
1:00
is a bit of a bummer because we have seen some leaks of Spider-Man figures and statues
1:08
that have those arms. It's almost like it's incomplete. It also comes with the Thanos leg and as you can see on the back here of the six figures
1:19
or actually there's seven figures but there's Iron Man who doesn't come with one of the
1:23
pieces for Thanos which is interesting. But then there's the cat with the beard, this Spider-Man, one of the villains that's going
1:30
to be teaming up with Thanos, Taskmaster, Master, Songbird, and then kind of an obscure
1:36
villain from Serpent Society. Maybe we'll be seeing him more often in the coming months
1:46
As you can see, you get the cool photoshopped action figure picture
1:51
Looks pretty sweet with the purple behind him. Again, I guess the iron is in the chest but I don't know, I'm kind of wanting those extra arms
2:02
And then you've got the usual one sentence description of the character in four languages
2:08
So let's open this. Alright, so another thing about this figure and you can actually find this online for
2:24
sometimes $40 and I don't know if it's worth it because he just comes with the leg
2:30
There are no extra arms and there's no webs but you do get the new look from the movie
2:38
As you can see, there's some cool detail in the suit, I guess to make it look metallic
2:44
There's like a texture. You only get one set of eyes too
2:48
It's kind of a serious look. Definitely a different look for the character that we've never seen before
2:56
With the gold outlining the spider on his chest. It looks pretty cool
3:00
And then a little bit of gold on the knees too. And then he's got two thwip hands
3:06
Let's take this out. And if we're looking at the back, more of that gold
3:18
Looks pretty good. I mean, the feel of it's nice. Look at that buttocks. Wow
3:28
The head is actually a little loose. This is actually not customary of Marvel Legends figures but just a tap of that
3:36
You can actually see it moves really easy. It's not... I mean it'll still move to where you want it to but that's surprising
3:45
I'm gonna take a guess and say these were rushed to get to the store shelves for the new movie but I don't know maybe I'm wrong
3:50
There's no place to put any Iron Spider arms if they were ever added an attachment
3:55
As you can see, there's no peg hole in the back which is a bit surprising because sometimes it's there
4:00
He does have the peg holes in the bottom. You can tell this is from another mold from Marvel Legends
4:07
You know, it's funny. It actually feels kind of cheap too. Hmm, interesting
4:12
But like all Marvel Legends, he can bend pretty good. His head actually doesn't turn up beyond this which is a little surprising
4:22
It does go down a little but... and all the way around. But to look up is tricky and that's gonna be tricky
4:29
If he's in a crouch, he's not gonna look up enough if he's really low
4:36
Like right now, that's as high as he can look. Kind of weird. But all the other usual Marvel Legends articulations there with the double knee joint there and the ball joint in the shoulder
4:52
So he can get more of his arms open more. Hmm. Overall, yeah, this is like a different look for the character
4:59
Obviously, we haven't seen him yet in the movies because that doesn't come out until April? I think April now
5:07
The paint job is really good and the texture is really nice but it's almost an unfinished figure without the arms
5:14
And he has no accessories aside from the leg. I don't know. I'm not super pumped about this
5:21
And you know, looking at the promo pictures when it first came out, I was more excited about the new look than anything else
5:29
The joints in the chest is also a little loose. I can see that wearing out pretty quick
5:35
And then his head is already loose. I don't know. It's like it was made in the wrong factory or something whereas most Marvel Legends are pretty solid
5:44
So anyway, if you go to aiptcomics.com you can see my full score, additional notes and thoughts
5:51
And pictures of the figure as well as more additional great content
