Okay, this is David Brooke from AFPT
0:09
We've got ourselves an American Comics characters Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi number two Spider-Man
0:15
action figure. This was pre-ordered so I think it's pretty new. You're not going to be seeing it in stores right away but probably soon
0:24
This is the number two. The number one is the Deadpool which is crazy articulate
0:30
You can bend it in so many different ways. So let's look at this
0:35
We've got a pretty cool box. It's similar to the Deadpool box in that it conveys like a comic book style with these panels
0:43
It shows you all the eyes you can use for the figure and also some pretty cool poses
0:50
supposedly he can get into. Pretty cool bend-a-dots on the side here with the figure and some interesting text
1:00
And then, oh, look at that he's breaking his leg there. And then you've got Jay Jemison on the side here
1:09
It looks like it might be Humberto Ramos' art on this panel
1:13
Anyway, let's open this guy, huh? Alright, similar to the Deadpool action figure there is a backdrop with the character himself
1:31
which is pretty sweet. Nice coloring. Blank background. This tape might be tricky
1:36
Oh, tape's not a problem. Alright, it looks like he comes with a stand but who cares about that
1:50
Looks like he's got this nice... I'm totally messing it up. Cover so things don't get lost
2:03
Alright, let's see what we've got here. We've got plenty of hands
2:08
We've got the thwip hand. Two thwip hands for each hand, left and right
2:16
We've got two fists. Looks like a hand to grab some webs
2:24
So here's all the hands. Wow, the detail's actually pretty good. You can see there's like etching into the hands so that there's like some texture to it
2:34
Which is pretty nice. Oh, and it looks like there's a little hole to stick a web. Nice
2:43
Very nice. Okay, let's put these down. The webs are pretty nice too. Wow
2:51
There's some nice detail and then there's the end to stick into the hand
2:58
So there's one long straight web. There's two long straight webs. Ah, so we can shoot webs from both hands. Perfect
3:09
Alright, we've got another windy web here. Ooh, this is pretty nice
3:17
With a loop. Alright, so then we've got two short webs. Almost like batons, the way it's got a little etch, little sticky part so it can stick into the hands
3:32
So inserting the webs into the thwip hand is pretty easy. And they're very stable actually, surprisingly so
3:41
It goes in pretty deep into the hand here. And you just stick it right in
3:47
And it goes in pretty deep. Very deep. So it's not moving
3:53
Which is pretty cool because you might be going crazy with your poses
3:58
Alright, and then there's the eyes. Which just like the Deadpool has it's own little packaging so they can't get lost easily
4:07
Got like the angry, the confused, and then the thought provoking. Oh god, I'm already losing them
4:15
So just like the Deadpool, he's got this plastic skirt and diaper protecting the joints again
4:26
Which is pretty nice. I mean, the worst thing is when you order an action figure and the paint is damaged from shipping
4:36
So I'm pulling this apart, only because I've done it once with Deadpool
4:42
I thought something was wrong. As you can see, he's got these extra pieces to go into each other to allow him to bend like crazy
4:54
But for you not to see the openings. So there's like this ball and then you can stick it into here
5:08
So without his metal he doesn't look very good does he? Oh, got the head plastic
5:19
So just like the Deadpool again, there's this extra joint for his neck
5:24
So that when you bend his head, he still has like coverage over the joint area
5:31
Alright, so just like... So what we have here is a toy that can bend like crazy
5:43
So he's got the knee joint that not only can spin this way, but can go this way
5:50
It's got this ball that actually can go this way, but also any other direction
5:59
We've got the ankle, which can bend straight back and forth, but also a complete turn
6:07
And then there's also this, which his calf can turn completely. Can't bend this way though
6:18
And then we've got a joint from his thigh, well almost to the end of his thigh, to the top here
6:29
Which can bend any way this way. And there's this, which can also bend this way
6:37
And then we're working our way up the body here. Which he can turn this way
6:47
Obviously this piece can get a little messed up, but you can turn it with him
6:52
That's the whole point of it. There's a joint back here, where he can bend this way, but then also up here
7:02
So he can really crunch. And then we've got the neck
7:14
Which is actually pretty cool. It's got some texture to it, or not texture, but like a bend to it, as if it's flesh
7:22
It's not straight. It is rather long, and much like Deadpool, it can look a little funny in certain positions
7:32
Especially if he puts his head down. It looks rather long. But, probably not going to have him in a position like that anyway
7:41
But yeah, the neck can bend this way. He can bend a little this way, not a lot
7:47
The head itself can actually bend a lot, so it's not like you need to have this neck be moving
7:54
And then he can look up. And then, not really look down much
8:01
But I guess that's what the neck's for. And then we've got the arms. These joints are pretty sweet
8:09
He can move this way, but also turn. And then this joint in here can turn as well
8:15
And then the elbow can also turn. Or bend I should say, but also turn
8:23
And then there's the wrist, and this is actually a different hand completely from the others
8:27
We've got the thwip hand. This is just an open hand, so he can be climbing, I'm assuming
8:38
Yeah, let's put him in a cool position. Super bendy Spider-Man! As you can see, the knees are just a ball
8:51
And one of the cool things about Deadpool's figure is that he's got these knee pads
8:56
that actually hide the ball a little bit. So it's not as obvious
9:05
But it looks like they tried to do that a little bit with
9:10
the way the leg connects to the to the thigh here. If you have it in just the right way, it actually connects like a puzzle piece
9:23
Of course, you're not going to always want it that way because he's going to need to be bending that knee so he can do crazy moves
9:28
In which case, you can see that ball pretty good. So it comes with a stand, which is pretty sweet because not every toy does
9:37
And it is super easy to put together. So, put him on his head, put him on his face
9:43
Then, I'll see you. And boom, he's posed. It's actually a pretty nice little perk
9:53
Even though you can get a stand similar for seven bucks. But this one, it's a little different. It feels sturdy
10:00
The head can be taken apart like so. And the toy actually comes with a tool
10:08
A little spike. So you can push out the eyes and not damage them by
10:14
pulling the eye out. You can actually just push it out. Which is a nice touch
10:22
Oh man, Spider-Man's looking weird. Push it. Boom. And then, you can stick any old eye you want
10:32
into Spidey's head. Boom. Looks a little weird if it's not matching
10:40
But anyway, let's put it on. Overall, I really like this toy. I think there's a few drawbacks
10:46
Like the shoulder and the knee joint being a little obvious. But overall, I am really pumped to be playing with this toy
10:54
And posing it with other action figures. Particularly Deadpool, because they can bend in crazy ways together
11:03
And considering the stand comes with it, you can pretty much pose him any way you want
11:11
It's going to run you $75, which is the same as Deadpool
11:16
Right now, Venom is running at $85, but that's not for a bit
11:21
Obviously, you're going to get this toy if you love action figures that can bend like crazy
11:27
I don't think there's anything else like this, in any Spider-Man form anyway, that can bend this much
11:32
So you're going to have a lot of fun putting it into positions, and posing it
11:38
That said, there are a few little issues. Like the knee joint that's so obviously a ball
11:44
And also the shoulder joint here, which is quite open in certain positions
11:50
Obviously, you can pose it so that it's sort of hidden, but it can get a little ridiculous at times
11:57
where it's super obvious. Especially when the shoulder is down like this
12:02
It's almost like it's disconnected. But that's not really a deal breaker
12:07
It's still a very cool figure. The face is also a little small
12:13
For a Spider-Man figure, it's almost like a mask as well, when you look at it from the side or the back
12:22
So yeah, overall, I really like this toy. I like the detail
12:27
The sculpt is nice. The paint job is really nice. He's got this nice blue shimmer
12:33
The blue has... It's very dark and shiny, but it looks expensive
12:41
And then there's nice texture in all the lines in his costume
12:48
So it's not just paint there. It's actually etched in, which is really nice
12:54
There's also a spot to put any stands. There's no spots on the feet
13:03
though I don't think you're going to be posing Spider-Man on his feet very much
13:08
considering the character. But overall, this is a pretty cool toy. And it comes with plenty of hands and webs to add to the whole scene
13:24
Thanks for watching. We hope to do more of these unboxing videos as new toys come out this year
