0:41
mes I was like yes we're traveling at the beginning of the year we're just going to do everything I still can't
0:47
train why sit at home and be sad I'm going to get out and do stuff were you doing the leg thing when you were
0:52
booking all these trips like just all your phone [Music] like
0:58
yes I love new year new me we're going
1:04
everywhere everywhere I am so tired oh I can imagine I am so over it I miss my
1:09
bed I miss my dog a and then you're going to go do a poker tournament um
1:15
next week right this week this week dang on the eth on the wow yeah three days I
1:21
leave in three [ __ ] days a are you good a poker I hate
1:28
myself that that's a good answer for are you good at [Laughter]
1:33
poker I I hate myself that could be like the way you Bluff like you're you're
1:39
sizing someone up and they're like hey you any good you just go I hate myself
1:45
and they just I may not be great at playing poker but my face is my face was born to play poker you it was it's like
1:53
resting winning hand face you know I know I know do I have a flush do I have
1:59
trash crash you don't know never know and you won't you'll never know poker
2:05
and uh Mario Kart two games you were born to play solid I am so good at Mario
2:11
Kart you're stupid good makes me mad it makes me mad how
2:16
good you are at Mario Kart I think I think I'm pretty good at Tetris I feel
2:22
like I am probably as good at Tetris as you are at Mario Kart that's impressive
2:27
yeah I mean I couldn't beat the game like that kid did a few did you hear about that yo wow it's insane that's
2:36
like some crazy neverbe done like ever I
2:41
don't know how it's never been done before but this kid just nailed it so I'm I'm like you know sitting here
2:47
thinking back and like you know how we've Revisited these these video games and we played and they're like oh man like Donkey Kong is really slow and you
2:55
know this is actually not that difficult but our motor skills are so much better than they were when we were children but
3:01
I feel like Tetris like it's still hard as [ __ ] like no what yeah yeah the the earliest games are always the hardest
3:08
like if you ever tried to play Pitfall the the original like Atari version it's
3:14
stupid hard you're just falling in pits constantly or uh the first Mario Brothers is really hard too and then you
3:22
get to maybe the late 90s and things start easing up but when we were kids
3:28
games are really hard was it uh was it Castlevania oh my God that's the worst one never passed like
3:34
the first level I swear I gave up they're all made for arcade like uh coin
3:40
guzzlers they're just awful aw and Mega Man I didn't realize how hard that was
3:46
until I tried to play it as an adult and that was I used to watch my brother play that game he must be he so good he he's
3:54
borderline maybe um he's just he's really good at video games and he killed
4:00
it at Mega Man and I was just I every time I would try I would just die I'm like you know what this is a game that I
4:06
was not meant to play yeah but you're stupid good at Mario Kart to the to the
4:12
uh extent that I thought you might have a disability that's how good you are at
4:19
Mario Kart I playing I'm like what's wrong when like when uh we played with Justin J FL God Justin Flores um he
4:28
showed his ass showed his ass Justin Flores uh used to coach Ronda Rousey
4:33
he's the corner for her um big Judo extraordinaire and he coaches us in one
4:41
fight he cornered me and we were playing our little Nintendo games and he got so
4:48
angry he raed the remote control yeah raged out threw a fit started cussing
4:55
and this is like a pretty chill dude like he like perast stoned kind of chill uhuh Perma stoned very into Japanese
5:02
culture which is probably why he got so upset because Nintendo hey he let his people down yeah
5:10
his adopted people down because he's not Japanese but he's very into the culture and let this little Italian
5:18
American bat beat him in Mario Kart how does that
5:25
happen I don't know honestly I just I just get in the zone with Mario Kart you getting your Flow State I think every
5:32
fight week of yours we should have Mario Kart on Deck just so you can enter that flow State and then when you're in the
5:39
cage you're just like bam Mario Kart yeah get the turtle get the thr them red turtles yeah get the box getting that
5:47
star knocking them out killing them with bananas I never seen a girl as good with
5:52
a banana uh this one you know what people are not always so lucky to find
5:58
their talents you know early in life and I'm just really happy that I know what
6:04
mine is yep banana y banana
6:09
talents well on that note um did you get to watch the fights if all you're
6:15
traveling and bustling around of course I make time to watch the fights so professional I mean come on SO
6:20
professional you know what when I was in Tulum at you know the bar lounge place
6:26
like vibing out I was you know I was editing stuff I was like very productive
6:31
wow I kep all my responsibilities good job good job watch the fight um I I got
6:38
blocked on a few sites though like I couldn't watch anything else so I was I was fortunate that I could actually
6:43
watch ESPN and then uh this weekend I got to watch the fights as well ni because I was in the country so yes you
6:50
want to talk about it I think we should talk about it yeah yeah interesting stuff happened some interesting things
6:57
um what do you think about the main personally I didn't really know much about the two guys fighting on the main
7:04
event um I think they are the people that we have to talk about least and I we had that no we had that conversation
7:11
like as I'm watching the fights everybody's like do you know them and I'm like actually actually I don't but
7:16
I'm really glad that they don't either because I don't feel so bad nobody knows them no um it's it's crazy right because
7:26
these guys have been killing it if you look at their topology they've been killing it they've been knocking people
7:32
out getting um beating big names but I can't recall watching them fight I I
7:40
cannot either but I think the more exciting fight that we would like to talk about or I would like to talk about
7:45
is sonado moano and Drew Dober yeah and not just the fight but the post fight speech the post fight speech that is
7:53
like in my notes to talk about but we can talk about the fight before if you want to um
8:00
yeah let's talk about the fight uh sure I remember what
8:07
happened uh Drew Dober had some had some good moments he actually had a really nice like it was like a lateral throw um
8:14
that that you know put M Con on his back and he started capitalizing in you know for that round but he tried it again in
8:20
the third and it actually lost him the fight yeah it's like that's one of those things where if if you hit something you
8:26
time it really well it's it's kind of one of those throws in those moments that you probably won't be able to
8:32
repeat because some at that at that level people are going to be able to make the adjustments and moano did he just kind of let him fall off capitalize
8:39
and and I really think that solidified the wind for him MH yeah you kind of need that forward pressure to hit the
8:45
lateral throw and really make it work right and so when it happens the first time it's kind of like a whoopsie you
8:52
know you let them fall into your trap the next time they're going to see the
8:57
leaves on top of the pit they're gonna see that okay this guy's gonna try this thing again you can almost bait them
9:05
into going for that and then basing out and staying on top so good job tooy Kano
9:10
dude he is insane yes I think clinically he is I'm not a doctor but he might be I think he
9:18
might be uh his press beforehand was getting a lot of uh hits just because he
9:24
was speaking really plainly and just saying how um no one is going to see the
9:32
fight they're asking him how how he felt about being comain he's like I'm Coan on
9:37
a on a Apex card on a fight night nobody cares nobody cares I mean it's great but
9:45
nobody cares and it's like who manages this guy yeah you kind of want to be a
9:51
little better at dealing with the hype in your fight yeah promoting yourself
9:56
promoting the company you work for maybe you know I mean I've never known anybody
10:02
that's that comfortable with their uh you know job stability in the UFC everybody is always you
10:08
know you know trying to promote themselves and make sure that you know yeah they they stay employed fighter pay
10:15
is great we love fighter pay we we we love all of it we're buying
10:22
stock yes because it's so good um and he
10:28
went off off in his postf fight speech afterwards um I thought it was the
10:34
craziest thing because before we had kind of a crazy post fight speech too with uh radkey but we can talk about
10:40
that later but his stole the show just because he had that big spot with the col me and he had that crazy fight with
10:46
Drew Dober and then he just goes hey hey I'm Gonna Be American I'm gonna be a
10:53
police officer like he just had all these things to say and yeah it was just
11:00
really wild that post-fight speech was 2 minutes and 41 seconds it felt like what
11:06
do you call it when a train wreck in slow
11:11
motion that's what you call it what do you call it when someone gives you a a
11:17
word and you just have to say the first thing that comes to your mind a word association word asso it felt like that
11:24
he was just going from one thought to the next to the next with no filter no
11:30
Rhyme or Reason he just had a lot of things to say and he was going to say it right then there I feel like he just I I
11:37
I know he's he obviously speaks English but he almost felt like he had just learned and was just like saying all the
11:44
words somebody a genie flipped uh snapped his fingers and suddenly he
11:50
could speak English yes and he was very excited I thought he was going to announce that he was running for office
11:55
next oh man I feel like maybe that's next I feel like that was in the the post fight presser that I missed I
12:01
wouldn't be surprised he's he's almost got his green card as he said or he has his green card he's working on
12:07
citizenship I believe yeah something about having it for three years yeah he's going to be a citizen he loves
12:12
America he wants to be a policeman uh gave props to his 62-year-old father for
12:17
yes that was the other part oh God having a baby and then told everybody that he's going to go home and impr
12:23
Pregnant his wife yeah which is so he can be like his dad I'm kind of pissed off because that was my whole plan
12:29
for wi in the belt I was like I'm going to get the belt I don't care how old I am I'm going to get the belt then that
12:36
night I'm having a or I'm laying the seed for the baby or I'm not laying the
12:42
seed my husband's laying the seed but I'm making that pass so that I can hold on to the Belt as long as
12:49
possible you thought about this this is First mom champ Evil Genius hey there
12:55
you go not first but one of the few mom Champs now that everyone's done it in
13:01
every way possible yeah it was really interesting
13:08
and I think that that's like it's not an isolated incident um I haven't seen his
13:14
previous postf fight speeches but I feel like they're it's pretty like on brand okay so I feel like I want to like go
13:21
back and you know just see what he has to say I do love a crazy fighter
13:26
especially a crazy Brazilian something about that there's something special about it like they are their own brand
13:32
of crazy and they do it really well like nobody can compete with that no what kind of person like what country can
13:40
compete with the crazy of Brazil it's really hard to put up there like and I
13:46
feel like there's also something endearing about it as well like it's likable like I don't think he lost fans
13:52
because of this no no not at all not at all maybe on the pr team he lost a few
13:59
fans he like no stop it but he is definitely a character that I want to
14:06
see fight more often just because he's so gritty he's so good at what he does and he makes it entertaining afterwards
14:12
yes more of that more crazy Brazilian go foro I here for it I here for it I would
14:19
go for him um there were a a lot of illegal
14:25
blows I felt like on this card maybe maybe maybe only a couple but I felt like they were really
14:32
impactful how so um like they impacted the eyeball there were there were a lot
14:38
of eye Poes there a lot of eye pokes nasty ones I I um actually met uh what
14:45
is his uh first name poges Jamal poges I think yeah I met him in Tulum when we
14:51
went last year and this poor guy he got eye poked so bad he was on the ground
15:00
slapping punching punching the canvas you you could tell it was a really bad eye poke and luckily for him he only had
15:08
a minute left of the third round he finished out the fight and was able to get the win but that happened to two
15:14
different guys same moment of the fight last minute of the third round and I
15:19
don't know I just like bringing it up I didn't really have a point of saying it
15:24
but it it really is crazy how it can change the whole momentum of a fight it can change um your abilities but it can
15:33
also help you out too he was looking a little tired at the end uh Jamal poges was and that last bit of time that you
15:41
get to collect yourself and get your nerve back it can make or break the fight so uh yeah I don't know iols are
15:48
still plaguing the sport you know what's crazy to me though it's not an issue in bare knuckle
15:54
boxing which is weird which is weird to me I mean they have a a whole lot of other issues but eye pokes are not one
16:00
of them what other issues everything oh the fact that they don't have gloves the
16:06
fact that they don't have gloves and um everybody just gets messed up like there are no winners in those fights no there
16:12
aren't but I Poes you're right I haven't seen an eye pooke maybe because the
16:18
knuckle getting in there it feels like a eye pooke maybe you just don't know the difference but yeah I wonder why that is
16:26
maybe there's no reason to open the hand in bar knuckle and in um in MMA you have
16:34
the grips and everything you have parrying but You' think if you parry and
16:39
be knuckle yeah that's what that's what I'm thinking you know what it's probably the threat of the shot too
16:47
because sometimes you're pairing someone's face redirect no that way EXC but if
16:55
you're not careful or a lot of people Spar in big gloves a lot they spar with boxing with takedowns you don't get used
17:03
to consciously closing your fingers when the threat of the face comes forward and
17:08
a lot of times it's easy to just dig that thing in there you see it a lot when people are pushing away out of a
17:13
clinch position they push away and their thumb or their hand just gets in something that I wasn't supposed to and
17:20
they never seem intentional I I it's been a long time since I've seen an eye
17:26
poke that looked intentional I feel like Jon Jones is the closest thing where he's like filling out the distance with
17:33
his hands with his fingers forward and now we have that rule where it has to be up or closed Fist and that's it um but
17:40
it's always on the break I feel like that's when you usually see a a really nasty eye poke is when they're clenched
17:46
up they're fighting they're scrambling somebody post off and then the post goes
17:51
right into the bowling ball hole sure it could just be the the muscle memory from
17:58
con L being in boxing gloves constantly having to have a closed fist because it is more you know boxing Centric um so
18:06
that could be that definitely could be it um it's just and if you don't have a
18:11
super tight closed Fist and bare knuckle you're probably going to break your hands yeah so that that helps too
18:17
definitely the fear of breaking it that would do it I me you're going to break it anyways because you break everything
18:22
in bare knuckle but you know Safety First did you watch any bare knuckle I
18:27
went to the bare knuckle boxing fight you were there I was there the one that just happened yes oh yeah oh it was in
18:35
California it was in Florida oh it's going to be in California in February
18:41
that's the end of this month it's okay where the [ __ ] were you everywhere Angela that is why I am tired why did
18:47
you tell me I thought we were going to talk about it here we're talking about it right now
18:52
I had no idea you were there yeah how was it at the Hard Rock it was great oh
18:57
I saw the I like the picture yeah me next to the big guitar I did not know
19:02
that's where the fights were yes I wasn't paying attention that hard until the final fight the final fight was
19:08
pretty nice um trout yes the main guy he did a real nice counter that we've
19:15
actually kind of been working on it in class slipping outside and getting around the back kind of grabbing the
19:22
back of the person's hip and coming around and punching them when they're not looking it was he pull that off so
19:30
well normally I go for the MMA fighter versus like a traditional boxer in bare
19:36
knuckle I feel like they always have the ad Advantage but and people are asking me like oh who do you think is win I was
19:42
like oh wait a minute he's the one who fought Diego sanchz I was like yeah he's winning like hands out he he's just he
19:48
has a really great style for Bare knuckle and he he has so many boxing
19:54
fights he has such clean technique great movement great footwork head movement like everything it's just it really
19:59
works for him whereas a lot of the other more you know traditional boxers I feel
20:04
like they're not as like gritty and physical as the MMA fighters and that gives the MMA fighters the advantage
20:10
yeah yeah our our Girl Beck was saying how technique doesn't always get you to win bare knuckle because there's so much
20:17
that gets through one sloppy punch can do way more damage than a precise jab
20:23
it's it's just a different sport so to see a boxer
20:29
better than an MMA fighter is always kind of interesting you you wonder how they would have done an MMA when the
20:35
boxers are able to adapt but a lot of times it's just people who are just good at fighting they're just good at being
20:40
violent and figuring [ __ ] out on the spot and going with the flow and and using the rules to their advantage and
20:48
he does that really well that was a cool fight yeah it was fun to watch yeah yeah that was probably like the the highlight
20:54
of the whole fight card to be honest cool uh
21:01
um back to MMA back to MMA though back to Apex 85 uh did you see our girl uh I
21:10
did looking all slim did you see her get a submission I don't know uh if it's
21:18
just me but I was more impressed with her ABS I we've never seen them before
21:24
popping they were past the way like the the hydration they were still there I
21:30
was like you oh mine mine lasts for like an hour and they're gone well that's cuz
21:37
you got all that junk in a trunk somehow I'm working on it somehow
21:43
it it makes a difference there was no junk in Molly's trunk it was all in her was a lean piece
21:50
of meat yes she was elen Cuisine yes she was not a meatball anymore yeah she was
21:57
uh 99% lean beef yes grass I can't think of
22:03
anything else oh grass yes that's all she was eating fight week grass um she
22:11
looked good she looked really good granted of course everyone's going to talk badly about the matchup it was a
22:20
girl who doesn't really have that many impressive ones in the UFC and she
22:26
fought her already up 125 so of course people are going to talk [ __ ] but it's
22:33
her first fight at 115 I think it's if anything fair to let a fighter grow
22:39
especially if you have um this Market that they can reach that you want to
22:44
like really push or whatever back in my younger days I used to hate on people like that because I
22:51
never felt that media push that other people get but I do think that it brings its own uh demons and we've seen Molly
23:00
deal with that we've seen her deal with the pressures of Performing and and the expectations of the fans and of the
23:08
company and when all that gets to you it can lead you to have like not so good
23:13
performances or just make the losses hurt way more than if you felt no one was paying attention so I felt like this
23:21
one seemed very uh big for her mentally like she was very calm and weigh-ins she
23:29
was very calm in the face offs uh calm on the walk out and then Unleash the
23:34
Beast Within when she needed to and it was it was really cool to see someone um
23:40
just mature mentally like that I think it um she took her losses and she went
23:46
back to where she needed to learn and grow and I think she took it as an opportunity to to learn and grow and
23:53
reinvent herself and I think that that is always impressive for somebody like in in any sport but especially
24:00
competing at this high level where the margins get like narrow and narrower as
24:06
you grow go up the ladder so I I thought it was impressive I I was really happy
24:12
for her because she's a really hard worker um it's it's just really hard being in the
24:19
spotlight and trying to like reinvent yourself and develop yourself yeah good
24:24
job Molly and she was looking beastly at at 115 so I'm excited to see who she
24:30
gets matched up against next um if she's able to bring in that same discipline it seemed like uh it was it was a tough
24:38
road to 115 but I think once you get there it's probably easier the second time around but you never know until
24:46
until like time allows if you did it the right way I mean I remember
24:53
um zoa frosto or frosta frosto frosta frosto
24:58
in the Bellator tournament she made the weight and she's a natural 125 or she's a natural like pretty big girl and the
25:05
way she cut weight devastated her body she was never able to defend that belt
25:12
she was never able to make the weight again her body just completely freaked out on her and that's what can happen if
25:19
you don't cut weight well and you're trying to make weight consistently so I I have confidence in the UFC Pi team
25:25
that they'll you know they did it their right way they're going to keep her on the right track because cutting that
25:31
much weight can be really challenging to your system if that's not what it's meant to do scared every time it moves I
25:40
think it would be better off of the coaster oh well I don't want to what are you
25:45
saying I'm done we gota we got to watch out for the electrics
25:51
um yeah I I think nowadays because that was when
25:59
2010 maybe um nowadays we have all these resources where people are mindful of
26:06
gender too they're mindful of things that women have to go through in order to make weight
26:13
consistently um we have more body fat we have menstrual cycles oh don't talk
26:18
about it and uh all that stuff counts when it comes to ounces and when you
26:24
have to get rid of every single ounce and make sure you're still a an athlete and and a monster when you
26:32
get in the cage it's it's it's a science experiment basically so I it seemed like
26:37
she did it the right way like she didn't seem to lose any speed any power um she
26:43
still looked fit uh she didn't look like saggy or flabby everything tightened up
26:49
and she looked like a little little uh athlete in there so I think it's it was a good move for her she probably saw the
26:57
difference especially when she hit that single leg lift I was like oh okay DC
27:03
okay wait how how easy was that compared to like what's her name stol or Rinko or
27:09
whoever it was at arber like that girl was a lot smaller so she had a lot more
27:14
pop when she tried to take people down and it makes a huge difference with your confidence knowing that the person's
27:20
your size yes she used to moving those those big bodies around now she's dealing with little little baby body
27:28
little baby straw we bodies yes so good job to her she really uh had a great
27:33
debut at 115 and we'll see what she can do with that going
27:38
forward and uh what I thought was kind of crazy was both of Molly's uh former
27:47
flyweight opponents were on the card earlier yeah and then MMA math did the
27:54
MMA math thing the girl that Molly TKO old ended up beating the girl that
28:01
subbed Molly with an armar how crazy is that doesn't make sense it don't make no sense it never mats it never mats it's
28:08
so she almost got armar though there was a brief moment where the arm bar was locked in and poor girl just didn't have
28:15
enough time but man I was actually happy for the chick even though she missed weight but I was happy for the chick um
28:24
getting that TKO in the end because she is weird like her style is so weird and
28:31
I'm just like how is this working but it does it's really when you fight someone
28:36
who's awkward like that you don't know where the punches are coming you don't know where the knees are coming her
28:42
punches look like wacky wavy uh inflatable tube guy but then she'll
28:48
throw a perfect knee with a perfect right angle it's just like where did
28:53
that come from what is going on with this girl but she's she was good she uh
28:58
gutted out that uh that wind got got thingy all tired from the what was it
29:04
she had her in a triangle she really gassed out on that and could barely walk after she stood up and did you see the
29:11
little ankle roll I did my ankles screamed for her your poor ankles have
29:17
been through so much they're like no yeah dude I felt I felt her pain yeah
29:24
don't sell out don't sell out on the triangle if you still got got two minutes on the
29:29
feet that's a hard one shake them out first I've done that before I've I sell
29:34
sold out on the triangle and luckily for me the Bell rung and as I got up my legs
29:41
were so wobbly like I I felt like I couldn't feel the canvas it's crazy how that feels I think that was the fight
29:47
where I shook out your legs yeah it was yay we know what this
29:53
is good old Jess always knowing yep you gas out didn't you them legs aren't
29:59
doing [ __ ] right now wait until 2 minutes into the next round to throw a
30:04
head kick I'm just saying hands move the hands stay in place just you're in a
30:13
phone booth for at least a minute it's okay you'll be fine oh man yeah I thought that was
30:20
crazy oh and did you see our friend from way back uh jungyong lee fought I knew
30:28
he looked familiar yeah I did watch trained with us for like a hot second he
30:33
came in for maybe a month or two months or something like that and I even have a tick tock with him back when I was just
30:43
figuring out yeah figuring out how to use it I was like oh [ __ ] it's that guy the guy who did the punch video with me
30:51
so I'm like a it's it's so crazy because being at Alliance we ran ran into so
30:57
many random people when they were just starting out and a lot of times you forget who they are you didn't follow
31:05
him on Instagram or whatever and you see the face and you're like man that kid looks familiar so familiar and you
31:12
forget they were in between your legs at one point training training for me at
31:17
least this isn't only fans no giving people the wrong idea good it I'm talking about training
31:25
grappling all are you I I I mean maybe I
31:30
definitely am because I'm [Laughter] [Music]
31:35
married but now that Adam's doing Jiu-Jitsu we might have to add a few
31:41
moves if you know what I mean practice some uh sweeps and different positions in the bedroom well you know
31:48
he's he's really getting stronger in the hips now he's getting his uh hip
31:54
dexterity up uhhuh so I'm excited if that'll transfer into other things I
32:00
think it might maybe work on his oopa sweep [Music] [Laughter]
32:08
oh just giving them special requests like going up to the professor like hey
32:14
can you guys uh can you work on this please can you work on that pass that Al
32:20
Lima did on the video oh my
32:25
god oh I'm like I got to te out of that
32:33
one what's the name of that one the double unders just double under pass the
32:39
vag dive oh I mean you can call it whatever you want to Edie Bravo always renames his moves badge dive is that
32:46
what he calls it I don't know I mean I don't think so but I feel like he would call it the
32:53
[Laughter] cockpit I think that that would be the name of the move Eddie Bravo's uh whole
33:01
whole thing land on the airplane yeah here we go yeah coming
33:12
in anyway um yeah like uh but yeah what I was
33:18
saying was you meet all these guys and then they end up in the UFC or doing something big with the sport we talked
33:24
to Lon Murphy he was an amateur when he came through to Alliance and when he got to the UFC I didn't realize he was only
33:30
an amateur when we met him but uh yeah now he made his way into the UFC and
33:37
make sure to check out that interview we got to talk to him for a little bit on our YouTube channel and on UFC Fight
33:43
Pass it's on both listen to them all um oh and that's
33:50
the other big news we got cited for the first time oh my gosh a MMA so course
33:57
what was it called MMA junkie M junkie MMA junkie they watched our interview
34:04
with tatana Suarez and said that is so good I'm going to put it in an article
34:10
on our website and they cited us no piggy I mean I'm just waiting for
34:16
a press pass because I mean it's coming we need to be in there asking the tough
34:22
questions that all these media guys are too scared to ask cuz they don't want to be made fun
34:28
of but honestly we're just a lot more approachable I mean yeah you don't want to tell us to
34:35
do push-ups you know we can you know we
34:40
can just just answer the question thank thank you thank you no I've I've seen
34:46
what you look like after a hard day of sparing be nice be nice I've seen you
34:51
cry in the locker room chill out just just just answer my question
34:58
yeah yeah bud yeah yeah no we've all been there I've been there too it's cool and I think that's space yeah I think
35:06
that's why it is easier for exf fighters to do the media stuff because they can
35:13
kind of already sense the sensitive in issues you don't have to ask you just
35:20
kind of know what would trigger you in an interview especially when you're getting ready for a fight when you're
35:26
getting ready for something that's kind of a big deal to you the last thing you want to hear is people just bringing up
35:32
all your insecurities and I feel like Fighters are very sensitive of that absolutely anytime I've talked to a
35:38
fighter they've been very like conscious of that even ones that I thought were going to rip me apart like uh talking to
35:44
DC in an interview um or like the fighter meeting thing where they are
35:50
like hey Andel what are you going to do um yeah very few have been insensitive I
35:56
think think no there's like a com that we both know who's that
36:04
Angela that most people can guess why don't you guess in the comments who I'm talking about but only one that can try
36:11
to get on their people's skin but he's really good at it it's part of his process or
36:18
her we know it's him but you [Laughter]
36:24
already everyone else has been very very
36:29
sympathetic of the struggle of being a fighter light sensitive yes as you as
36:35
you would hope them to be you can still get the information you need you just go about it in a way that you would want
36:41
someone to go about it for you exactly it's called
36:46
empathy it's an important tool in everyday life especially during a weight cut oh
36:53
yes and during fight week oh yes yes yes yes yes everyone has to be empathetic
36:59
and then after the fight you're like get your [ __ ] and get out of here just yeah they're actually pretty abrupt you know
37:05
yeah yeah they're like all right you're done bye like I don't even like can I take a water no no get out the car go in
37:12
the car back to your hotel yeah take this half drunk Prime energy with
37:18
you all you get make sure it labels out when you're leaving remember the good old days when
37:25
they used to let us like sit and watch the fights in like a a buffeted catered
37:31
like green room kind of setting that was so like the good old days the good old days you could go and hang out with the
37:37
crowd if you want SC that up for us oh I don't know it had to be well I think Co
37:43
screwed it up first because I'm pretty sure my last buffet was 2019 yeah I think Co is the culprit and
37:52
then after that they just it's like every job they just got used to to things working that way hey it's a lot
37:59
easier to just keep the fighters back in the hotel after they fight just get him out
38:05
of here get him back in that hotel and then we don't have to worry about him anymore no lawsuits if the fight breaks
38:12
out backstage in the buffet area don't have to worry about them actually eating I have never heard of that happening I
38:18
don't think it's ever Happ before a fight maybe there's like a little scuffle but afterwards everybody's just
38:25
like exhausted yeah let me let me get you a plate buddy H yeah just through it I've
38:33
always been my most uh chummy with my opponents after a
38:40
fight in the break room sure not and then as soon as it's over
38:46
I'm like [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] hate that
38:52
[ __ ] you get those endorphins right after big thing and yeah you know you're
38:57
just grateful for everything it's good to be alive let's follow each other yeah and then you're
39:04
like [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] shouldn't have followed her yeah now I have to like her stupid pictures oh now I have to like
39:10
her pictures of me getting punched in the face you didn't win why you posting
39:17
that oh oh well um yeah what else do you want to talk about uh well we have stuff
39:24
to come back to after a break actually cuz we're going to go ahead and skidadle
39:32
to our exclusive content portion of the show if you want to join us you can if
39:37
not we'll talk to you
