Singapore Airport Arrival Terminal 2 SIN 2025
Nov 28, 2025
In this Singapore Airport Arrival process and tour guide we show you what to expect when you land at Changi Airport in Singapore.
Here’s a 2025-updated guide to arriving at Changi Airport Terminal 2 (SIN) — useful for travellers (like you!) arriving in Singapore. I break it down step-by-step + highlight what’s new / good to know.
Before you land: Pre-arrival checklist
Fill in the Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC) within 3 days before your arrival. This remains mandatory for all passengers (except those just transiting without immigration clearance).
Arrival hall & immigration
After disembarking your plane, follow signs to the Arrival Hall (Level 2).
At Terminal 2 (and all major terminals at Changi), immigration clearance has become highly automated under the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA)’s new clearance system (ACI). Eligible travellers — including first-time foreign visitors — can use biometric — facial, iris, fingerprint — automated lanes.
Once cleared, head to baggage claim to pick up any checked luggage, then proceed through customs
If you plan to connect via another flight (transit), make sure your booking and luggage check-through allow you to stay airside — otherwise you’ll need to clear immigration.
