Jose Luis Perez Mendez, better known as El Primo, is king of breakfast tacos in Austin, TX. Hes been selling street tacos for over 14 years in Austin. He sells chorizo, ham, migas and bean and cheese breakfast tacos as well as traditional carne asada, al pastor and barbacaoa street tacos to his clientele in South Austin. Jose, who came from Michoacan Mexico 28 years ago to make a living in America, describes working at his fathers butcher shop as a kid and how his childhood built his strong work ethic. Jose shares his humor and his love of the United States, and his customers talk about why its hard to find a better breakfast taco than El Primos.
