- Mixed vegetables beans carrots, potato, cabbage, hyacinth beans, green peas etc. about 3 cups chopped
- water - 2 cups
- salt - 1 1/2 tsp
- green chilis - 2-3, as per taste
- grated coconut - 1/4 cup
- cinnamon - 1 inch
- cloves - 6-7 or as per taste
- cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- coriander seeds - 1 tsp
- roasted gram - 1 tbsp
- black pepper seeds or powder - 1/4 tsp
- curry leaves - 7-8
