Thin and light, it's all about thin and light. I mean, gram, implying the weight component
0:05
However, here today we've got something that's a little bit more approachable from a cost
0:10
perspective. This one's got an AMD Ryzen chip, AI7444. It's got a 16-inch display with a WUXGA
0:17
IPS panel. This one also has touch input. It's got 16 gigs of RAM, one terabyte of storage
0:23
But the main attraction here is portability. Very simple unboxing. And here's the power brick
0:30
So that's a 65 watt power adapter, little extension cable. Pretty straightforward
0:34
We've got the lightest packaging in the world to go with the lightest laptop. Click and a pop tray
0:39
Look at that. You know, I've unboxed a lot of things. I don't know if I've seen that exact kind of setup before
0:45
Here is the laptop. And right away, you know you're dealing with a Frisbee. The color that I'm looking at is Titan Black
0:54
And even though it's so slim, we've still got ports. Especially full-size HDMI when you need it
1:00
No reaching for the dongle. Couple of Type-C connectors, Thunderbolt support. You've got og for audio
1:05
And over on the other side, two USB-A ports. Versatility of ports
1:09
Something that I miss from other brands. Not naming names. So black on the outside and blacked out on the inside as well
1:18
Here you can see the chiclet style keyboard. They maintain a little bit of a number pad as well
1:22
and a relatively large trackpad given the scope of the laptop. We have a matte display
1:29
And as I mentioned, it is IPS. And we've also got the mechanical blocker
1:34
with a big red indicator. Of course, we've got our stickers to tell us what we're dealing with
1:39
Ryzen AI 7, Radeon graphics, light and durable, four pounds. Talking about four pounds, 16 inch laptop, four pounds
1:47
It actually lighter than 4 pounds even though it says here on the sticker 4 pounds It 3 pounds according to the spec sheet and for my metric friends like we supposed to be here in canada that 1 kilograms that definitely not a thing you
2:01
seeing all the time you're actually able to get pretty big batteries in here and then still save
2:06
the weight and keep it at four pounds so 26 hours of battery life is taking you on the flight to
2:10
tokyo no doubt and of course we got to mention co-pilot plus pc because it wouldn't be a tech
2:15
video in 2026 without mentioning AI, would it? All right, let's power it up here. So very low
2:21
profile keyboard as well, I must mention. Not very much flex happening in the deck. I mean
2:27
you can get a little bit of movement in there, but I'm always surprised when something is this
2:30
thin and light. Like, how's it gonna feel to touch? It's also a pretty quiet keyboard as well
2:40
when you're on that flight to Tokyo. Okay, so the display I'm noticing here, almost no reflection
2:45
Like, let me show you what I'm talking about. Like, where's the reflection? That's the bright ceiling
2:49
Huge light right there, but you barely pick it up because you've got the matte display
2:54
So I'm a fan of that. The display 1920 by 1200, as mentioned IPS
2:58
So viewing angles are fairly decent. The other cool thing is that you have dual SSD slots
3:04
for expansion of storage if you need it, if your needs grow in the future
3:09
Now, another unique feature here is the touchscreen. I mean, you just don't see this very often
3:14
and it just offers you one more potential input method that is actually surprisingly smooth
3:22
And also, thank goodness, it's a anti-glare display because otherwise things would get ugly
3:27
but this works pretty well. And it's not just singular AI with Copilot
3:32
it's dual AI. What they're referring to is GramChat on device, which is going to be your local AI
3:38
you know, filtering stuff that's on your system locally and it will take into account information
3:42
that's in your documents and things like that. And then the GramChat cloud which is going to provide answers powered by open AI more what you used to interacting with an OpenAI interface You also got something called LG Gram Link which I talked about in the past
3:57
and shown you guys demos of, which allows you to seamlessly share files
4:01
from your LG Gram to Android, iOS, and whatever other devices. I mean, it's like really almost available for everything
4:09
and it's way faster for transferring large files, and it'll even do things like extend your display
4:14
Now, another integration that's been added for Gramlink in 2026 is the ability to interact with webOS
4:22
So what does that mean? Well, maybe you have an LG TV. With webOS integration on Gramlink, it's a very native experience
4:28
So there's file sharing with the TV monitor and projector, screen sharing and extension, TV monitor and projector, because LG makes all of these things
4:37
I don't even know if you were wondering this or not, but you can do some light gaming on here
4:41
Well, however light it is depends on, like, what you're up to. But I just mean like you can see I'm surviving here. It's obviously not a gaming laptop
4:49
But you can actually do some light gaming on it. You can get it done now Obviously, they've got the pro model if you're gonna be doing a ton of gaming. There we go. Oh
5:00
Who the hell that little one the little one got in behind me, you know the little the little quick one
5:06
Yeah, that one that one got in behind me there We get one there
5:11
Got another one there. That works. Got another one there
5:21
That's good. Oh, the little guy there. Little guy. Show me that little guy
5:27
Where did the little guy go? Dead. Little guy dead. Sorry, boys
5:35
Whoa! Little, little! I almost had that little. So of course I just dropped down Doesn even matter Fall down the thing Team too good Doesn Doesn matter can believe we won that round It not because of me I tell you that right now
5:57
Well he put the shield up go boy go boy go after him. Let's get him. Yeah
6:06
Let's go That's what I'm saying take that tank get rid of that tank. That's what I'm trying to say
6:12
This little rat how you can target that? Come on big boy, you got to go first
6:22
Come on big boy. Let's go big boy. Take him again. Yes
6:29
You rat You rat! Where is my big boy when I need him
6:37
There's my big boy. Okay, let's go man, me and you. Let's go. Gotta be both of us. We can't be all mixed up like that
6:47
How'd that guy not die right there? He's not even right. Come on! Let's go
6:53
It's on principle! It's on principle! He wanted me to quit! He wanted me to quit! He goes, we got enough
6:58
Yo, we got enough footage. footage said it's on principle i can't leave those guys i can't leave them down man will's yelling
7:04
do your upgrade they're yelling at you will's yelling at me he's do your upgrade yeah i didn't
7:09
need the upgrade okay we didn't need that we didn't need the upgrade maybe i needed the upgrade we
7:13
collectively apparently didn't need the upgrade i've proved my point you could do a little bit of
7:17
gaming here even though you know that's not really what this model is targeted you do a little bit
7:22
of work on the side you uh pop open quick game here and there that's what you do no problem it
7:27
can do some light gaming. That's pretty cool
