JUNNELL, 43, met Giles, 24, through Instagram. Giles first approached him in 2018, when he was living in his home country of Belize, and Junnell was in the US. He explained, "The reason I slid into his DMs is that where I'm from in Belize, you can't just go out there and find somebody gay like how you are. So most of the stuff that I did was online." Junnell turned him away at the time, since Giles was too young for him, plus, he was already in a relationship. But then Giles moved to America in 2022, after he got his visa. The pair reconnected, fell in love, and got married in 2024. Online, the pair face homophobia when they post each other; trolls have said, "real men don't kiss each other", "what's this nonsense man-to-man just nonsense". Junnell is a successful businessman, owning three companies. His family was wary of the 19-year age-gap relationship, fearing that Giles was only with him for his money. "A lot of people were saying he was too young, that he was using me", Junnell said. His cousin, Antari, had his doubts. He explained, "I was like, who is this little boy? Gold Digger. I thought that he was trying to use my cousin for his money." In this episode of Love Don't Judge, the group sits down to discuss his doubts about the relationship.
