NEW BATTLEFIELD FOOTAGE: Russia's Akhmat Forces Target Ukrainian FP-1 Drones | Times Now World
Oct 11, 2026
Russia's Akhmat special forces unit has released footage it says shows its personnel targeting Ukrainian FP-1 unmanned aerial vehicles, including operations by the Apti "Hunter" detachment and the "German" mobile task force. In a statement shared through the unit's Telegram channel, the Russian side said the FP-1 drones have a reported range of up to 1,500 kilometres and can carry payloads of up to 120 kilograms of explosives. The statement claimed Russian personnel were responding to the drones from the ground and disrupting their planned flight routes, leaving some UAVs short of their intended destinations. The footage and claims could not be independently verified from the supplied material. The FP-1 has featured in Ukraine's long-range drone campaign against targets inside Russian territory, as both sides continue to rely heavily on unmanned systems in the conflict.
