How To Boot From USB On An Old PC - Change Boot Device Priority and Windows Setup (HINDI)
In this tutorial, you will learn to change Boot Device Priority and Hard Disk Drive Priority options in BIOS (Basic Input Output System), to configure your computer to boot from the USB Device first to start the Windows Setup. We use Rufus to make the MBR/BIOS Compatible Windows 7 Bootable USB Drive. You can download the utility from the link below: https://rufus.ie/en/ You must know the right key to get inside the BIOS and key is display on the very first screen when you turn on your PC. You can also press the Pause/Break after all the lights of keyboard blinks one to see and pause the POST (Power-On Self Test) screen, so you may have enough time to note and press the key to enter into BIOS. Different Motherboard Models are embedded with different types of BIOS and you need to look for the BOOT options to configure the Boot Device Priority. In most of the BIOS, the Hard Disk Drive Priority, Boot Device Priority are found under Boot Menu. Make sure that Boot From USB is also enabled. Then first configure the HDD Priority and move the USB Drive on top in the list. Look below into BIOS to see the shortcut keys to change the value. Then you need to change the BOOT Device Priority and make sure USB Drive is on top as First Boot Device. Save the changes by pressing F10 Key or move to the Exit menu to save changes. Now, your computer will restart and will read the USB first and if it will be a bootable USB, doesn't matter which OS it has, your PC will read the system files and will start the setup accordingly while also looking into your hardware configuration either suitable for the particular OS or Not.
