being a homemaker is such a rewarding
0:03
job and as much as I love it I can also
0:06
admit that it can be overwhelming
0:08
sometimes but there are some things that
0:10
I have found that have made my life as a
0:13
homemaker a bit easier and today I am
0:15
going to be sharing them with you guys
0:17
so in this video I am just sharing some
0:20
of my weekly habits as a homemaker after
0:23
church on Sundays I always like to sit
0:26
down every week and just plan out the
0:28
things that I know I need to get done
0:30
for the upcoming week I like to do my
0:33
budgeting for the week my grocery hauls
0:36
I like to add anything that I know I
0:39
need to do in terms of cleaning or
0:42
scheduling appointments all of these
0:45
things just makes it easy for me to know
0:47
what I have to do in the upcoming week
0:50
but it also helps me get those things
0:52
off of my mind so that I'm not just
0:55
going stir crazy in my head just trying
0:57
to remember everything that needs to be
0:59
done and it also helped me make sure the
1:02
things that I do have planned are
1:04
realistic so that I'm not making my
1:06
schedule too busy to where I'm not going
1:10
to be able to complete it all one thing
1:12
that is so very important to me as a
1:15
homemaker and something that I truly
1:17
love is being able to sit around the
1:20
table every Sunday without any
1:22
distraction so television no phones or
1:25
anything like that and just enjoy a
1:28
really hearty meal so here I am just
1:31
prepping some potatoes I actually made
1:33
two pans one pan as a meal prep and then
1:37
the other pan I tossed inside of the
1:40
slow cooker so that we can have it with
1:42
some slow cooked chicken and vegetables
1:45
this just helps us to kind of just slow
1:48
down once per week and just enjoy each
1:51
other as a family reflect upon you know
1:54
what our previous week looked like and
1:57
just fellowship with one another and by
2:00
making sure that I cook enough or prep
2:04
enough so that I can have some to put
2:07
away and some meal prep dishes that just
2:10
makes it easier for me to prepare dinner
2:12
throughout the week or even lunch by
2:14
making some extra potatoes and some
2:17
extra vegetables to store away in the
2:19
fridge it's easy for me to grab them
2:21
without having to chat them up later in
2:23
the week because the weeks do kind of
2:26
get busy so meal prepping is another
2:28
thing that I like to do every single
2:31
week and if I'm already chopping up some
2:34
vegetables I might as well just go ahead
2:36
and chop up enough to save me some time
2:39
later in the week so that's what I'm
2:42
doing just preparing a meal to enjoy
2:45
together as a family as well as some
2:48
extra to meal prep for the week to come
2:51
so basically I just choose some
2:54
vegetables that we like and we just put
2:57
them in the oven and let them roast and
2:59
I make as much as you know I feel is
3:02
necessary but the goal is to just prep
3:04
some sides and vegetables that we can
3:06
have on the sides of our dinner
3:08
throughout the week later so just a time
3:11
saving cat that I try to incorporate
3:14
into my weekly habits another one of my
3:17
weekly habits as a homemaker is
3:19
gardening so in the summer months and
3:22
spring I do a bit of gardening which
3:24
means that every day I have to go into
3:27
the garden and every week I normally
3:30
have to go and harvest some of the
3:32
vegetables or at least check to see if
3:34
there's anything that needs to be
3:36
harvested I love having access to fresh
3:39
vegetables and so that is just what I'm
3:41
doing here aside from all of a chores
3:44
the cooking cleaning meal prepping
3:46
grocery shopping and all of those things
3:49
I also like to devote some time each
3:52
week into marriage devotions with my
3:55
husband so that we can just reflect on
3:57
our marriage and make sure that we
3:58
conversate and spend some God time
4:00
together within our marriage in the last
4:03
weekly habit that I must do every single
4:07
week is some sort of self-care it's so
4:09
very important for us as a homemaker so
4:11
rather it's reading a book taking a bath
4:14
taking a walk or stretching try to make
4:16
sure that you include some form of
4:18
self-care into each and every week
4:21
you'll be a better Homemaker because of
4:23
it but these are just some of the habits
4:25
that I feel make me a better Homemaker
4:27
that I like to do every single week not
4:29
including my mommy haven't but I do hope
4:32
that you enjoyed this video or found it
4:34
to be motivational and if you did don't
