Hey friends!
One way I eliminate chaos and anxiety in my home is by utilizing a toy rotation system. In this video I'll be sharing just how I do that!

today I am going to be showing you guys
0:03
how I continue Noah's toy rotation to
0:07
limit some of the anxiety some of the
0:09
mess some of the chaos inside of our
0:13
home so recently I did a toy rotation
0:15
and organization system and now I'm just
0:18
showing you guys how I continued
0:20
throughout that system to keep all of
0:22
his toys organized and keep a good
0:25
system going

0:35
hello and welcome my name is heaven I'm
0:37
a stay-at-home mom wife and Homemaker
0:39
here I Vlog about all things motherhood
0:41
and lifestyle I create helpful relatable
0:43
realistic and motivational content for
0:45
you all so if that's something that
0:46
you're into definitely subscribe to my
0:48
channel I post twice weekly and I would
0:50
love to have you here but let's go ahead
0:52
and get into today's video and that is
0:53
our toy rotation system for my
0:56
three-year-old son Noah so here is what
0:59
it's looking like in our family room he
1:02
has a toy shelf here in the corner where
1:04
I like to display some of his wooden
1:06
toys and Montessori toys but then we
1:09
also have this large pile up of toys
1:11
that he has currently downstairs in the
1:15
middle of the floor a lot of these I
1:16
brought up when we had our Valentine's
1:18
Day couples game night when the other
1:20
parents brought their children over so
1:22
that we could have a larger variety of
1:24
toys for everyone to play with all of
1:26
the kiddos but normally I do not keep
1:29
all of these toys out for him because it
1:32
is just too much to clean up he doesn't
1:34
play with everything so it's just no
1:36
need to keep everything up here so I am
1:38
going to get all the stuff put back into
1:41
its place where it belongs so I'm going
1:43
to show you guys how I do that and how
1:46
it looks after the fact okay so I went
1:49
through some things and this is
1:50
everything that I'm taking downstairs
1:51
this is like a little baby toy and they
1:54
stuffed like Magna tiles in there so I'm
1:57
just gonna pull those out because I am
1:58
going to leave them magnetized out for
2:01
him but I'm gonna put this little like
2:04
cube organizer away Noah hasn't played
2:07
with this since he was a baby but we did
2:08
have some little like younger Toddlers
2:11
and babies here so I'm going to
2:14
um put that back now I'm also going to
2:17
put his little fire station away he
2:19
actually played with these blocks a lot
2:22
and really enjoyed it so I have no doubt
2:25
that he'll probably still enjoy so that
2:27
he can you know still have a rotation of
2:29
toys I'm gonna put it away so that you
2:31
know he can continue to enjoy it and not
2:34
just outplay it he also has like his
2:37
little felt sandwich making kit out that
2:39
I'm going to put back and then a ton of
2:41
just like small cars this basket here is
2:46
like just more random like action
2:48
figures and just toys that I'm gonna put
2:50
away so these are what I'm gonna leave
2:53
out his school bus his little monster
2:56
trucks his PJ masks toys are all going
2:59
to stay out for him to play with this
3:02
basket I am going to take upstairs he
3:04
didn't play with his nose Arc bolt very
3:07
often and that's my fault because I
3:09
didn't read the Noah's Ark book to him
3:11
it came with a toy we read Noah's Ark
3:14
plenty of times before different
3:15
versions of it but I didn't really
3:17
introduce you know the toy to him like
3:20
with the story so I'm gonna take it into
3:22
his room and then we'll read it and I'll
3:24
let him play with the toy while I read
3:26
the books see if you know he likes it
3:28
this is a little bath submarine toy that
3:31
he got for Valentine's Day he also got
3:33
this pillow for Valentine's Day and his
3:36
little Mickey Easter stuffed animal so
3:39
these are all like relevant to like the
3:41
season or just things that I think that
3:43
he'll still play with so I'm gonna take
3:45
those to his room and then over here on
3:50
the Shelf I still have his Magna tiles
3:54
out um so I'm gonna leave those on the
3:56
Shelf because he always plays with those
3:59
like I don't think that he will be happy
4:02
if I put them away like ever and it
4:04
keeps them quiet so I'm fine with that
4:06
he also has his wooden Mickey train that
4:09
I'm gonna leave out that he likes and
4:10
his wooden tow truck these are just some
4:13
of the toys that I pretty much just keep
4:14
on this shelf like often he has this
4:18
wooden railroad track that he loves but
4:21
he mostly really enjoyed playing with
4:23
this with my mom so the last time we
4:24
went to my mom house we left is there
4:28
and then we forgot to pick it up and she
4:31
forgot to bring it back to us so I
4:32
finally retrieved it when I went to her
4:34
house yesterday and he played with it
4:36
immediately when we got back so I think
4:39
that he'll be happy to see this back out
4:41
on the show for him to play with so I'm
4:43
Gonna Leave This one out and then put
4:45
the plastic blocks away as far as like
4:48
building sets go and then he also has
4:50
Melissa and duck fold out railroad track
4:53
but maybe he'll pair with it to kind of
4:55
just play you know look together so I'm
4:58
just gonna put those little pieces
4:59
inside
5:01
um and then he also has like his Mario
5:03
Yoshi and Luigi remote control cars so
5:07
he has a Luigi Mario Kart one I'm pretty
5:09
sure Yoshi is like behind the sofa or
5:11
something so I'm gonna get Yoshi and
5:15
yeah he has like these little toys that
5:18
my husband plays with him with so I'll
5:20
leave those out I have some random Legos
5:22
to put back as well as his wooden food
5:25
the wooden food has been out since like
5:28
Christmas it's been out since I bought
5:30
it so I think it's time to put those
5:31
into a rotation so I will put all of
5:34
this away
5:37
um and then we'll leave it in there
5:38
until the next rotation so yeah I'm
5:40
gonna go ahead and get everything put
5:42
away and see how that goes now that I
5:46
have everything brought down to the
5:48
basement I'm just gonna place them in
5:50
the toy rotation system that I kind of
5:52
have here it's not the prettiest but it
5:54
very much works so basically we have
5:56
medium carbs large cars
6:01
just like really large toys
6:05
I have some tiny cars there some wooden
6:09
food items a little box of just random
6:12
things I also have some tiny animals
6:16
I keep his medium-sized action figures
6:18
in here his tiny action figures there
6:20
and then his small cars there he also
6:24
has like a little plastic railroad
6:28
system right there
6:31

6:58
now I have empty baskets and this is
7:02
what I now have for him in the basket so
7:05
he has his school bus here I also
7:09
grabbed him a couple of like little
7:10
school people that he could put in there
7:12
this is a teacher and Noah colored on
7:15
him with like marker so he's gonna go
7:17
over here with his little tractor that I
7:20
brought out for him because it also has
7:22
marker on the side of it so I'm gonna
7:23
clean those but so he'll have his school
7:26
bus with a couple of little students and
7:28
a teacher to go with that
7:32
he still has his monster trucks his PJ
7:36
masks then a couple of farm animals in
7:40
case he wants to play with the tractor
7:44
like that so I'm gonna take out his farm
7:49
so that he could play with his farm with
7:51
his tractor and then that'll be the toys
7:53
that he have and then here Magnus tiles
7:57
his little wooden Vehicles his Wooden
8:00
Railway side and then his remote control
8:03
cars his bowling set
8:07
few toys so this will be easier to keep
8:11
clean everything on the Shelf has a
8:13
place and a home he'll know where it
8:15
goes I'll be able to easily put it where
8:17
it goes that basket is for his bowling
8:20
pins and that basket will be for lately
8:22
everything else so that is how I do our
8:25
soy rotation and keep everything nice
8:28
and neatly inside our family room I want
8:31
him to have access to family room toys
8:33
but I don't want them to be scattered
8:35
across the whole room so that I can work
8:39
with so that is it you guys it is
8:41
literally that simple it normally takes
8:43
me no time at all sometimes I let him
8:46
pick out the toys that he want to rotate
8:47
out and sometimes I'll pick them out
8:49
just based on what I've been seeing him
8:51
play with and what I think he's
8:54
interested in at the moment but this way
8:56
he doesn't get bored with his toys he's
8:58
always interested because if it's
9:00
something that he hasn't seen for a
9:01
while like for a week two weeks a month
9:04
or so he'll be even more interested and
9:06
more excited when that toy comes out
9:08
it's always something that he's
9:09
interested in we can keep you know a
9:12
good variety of toys out for him but not
9:14
so many that he's just playing from one
9:18
toy to another taking everything out at
9:20
once messing up the home and only
9:22
playing with them for a few seconds
9:24
before he moves on to the next toy I
9:27
have found this has worked wonders for
9:29
me so much easier and ever since I
9:31
decided to utilize a toy rotation I
9:34
truly believe that my anxiety has like
9:37
decreased a lot because I don't like a
9:39
lot of math I don't like a lot of chaos
9:40
and I know people say that's just a part
9:42
of motherhood which is true but there
9:44
are definitely ways that we can make
9:45
things a lot easier for ourselves or
9:48
even just a little bit easier for
9:50
ourselves as a stay-at-home mom or
9:53
Homemaker or wife or you know whatever
9:55
so again if you are just looking for
9:58
another Mama that you can relate to and
10:00
connect with that is just taking it one
10:03
day at a time definitely subscribe to my
10:05
channel I would love to have you here
10:07
but that will be all for today's video
10:09
thank you so much for watching until
