Homemaker and here I create motherhood
1:02
and homemaking videos today I am sitting
1:04
outside of Hobby Lobby because it is
1:07
that time of year again Christmas time
1:09
is definitely near and so if you haven't
1:12
already it's about that time to start
1:14
figuring out what you're going to be
1:15
doing for the holiday we are just 2
1:17
months away from Christmas time and with
1:20
that being said you may want to go ahead
1:22
and start pulling out all of your
1:24
decorations from last year checking to
1:26
see what you already have if there's
1:28
anything more that you need trying to
1:29
figure out what your color scheme is
1:31
going to be and if you have not already
1:34
done so maybe start scoping out the
1:37
stores to see what it is that you want
1:39
to go with this year so to help you guys
1:41
along with that I am going to be heading
1:43
into Hobby Lobby today and just taking a
1:45
look around at their new Christmas
1:47
merchandise showing you guys what they
1:48
have on the Shelf showing you guys some
1:50
of the prices some of the color schemes
1:53
so that you can get a feel and an idea
1:55
for what you want to do for Christmas
1:57
this time around so without further Ado
1:59
let's let's just go ahead and get right
2:01
into this Christmas shopping call if at
2:04
any point in this video you are finding
2:05
it to be helpful motivational you are
2:07
loving it don't forget to give it a
2:09
thumbs up and of course I would love for
2:11
you to subscribe to my channel for all
2:13
of the motherhood and homemaking content
2:15
I post once or twice per a week and I
2:17
would love to have you here let's go
2:19
ahead and get right into
2:22
[Music]
2:28
it so as soon as you walk in they
2:30
already have a lot of like Christmas
2:32
stuff just right outside of the door
2:34
also have like a sale going on all of
2:36
their Christmas decor is 50% off right
2:39
now they have the Grinch theme going on
2:41
the gingerbread theme going on this
2:43
little gingerbread apron is super cute
2:46
the gingerbread houses the furniture is
2:49
30% off and all the Christmas decor are
2:52
50% off basically just giving you like
2:55
an idea of what you can do like as far
2:57
as theming go so this could be a cute
3:00
little entryway theme and then this
3:02
could be like a little kitchen theme
3:05
here just like a few different like
3:08
setup ideas that they're kind of giving
3:10
you so that's really cool porch signs
3:13
are
3:15
$27 before the 50% off discount this
3:19
store is huge I really don't even know
3:21
where to start so let's see we'll start
3:25
over here see if they have any Christmas
3:28
florals they have a ton of stuff I
3:30
thought that it would be like one little
3:31
section but it's not they have like a
3:35
lot of stuff so they definitely have
3:37
like all
3:38
of the different type of florals inside
3:41
of the
3:42
vases basically showing you guys like
3:45
how you compare them they have a ton of
3:47
adorable and really cute little floral
3:50
ideas that you can go with all of like
3:53
your little
3:57
pieces oh okay here on the wall they
4:01
have all of the different little
4:03
Christmas like wall pieces I can't even
4:07
reach them to see how much those are I'm
4:10
too short to reach them but those are
4:13
really cute really large they have all
4:16
of the Christmas pillows all of the
4:19
different type of Garland I'm going to
4:21
go see if they have this stuff like
4:22
stocked on a lower shelf for people like
4:25
me can actually reach it and I start
4:27
here with the Christmas tree so they
4:30
have all of the flocked Christmas trees
4:34
and these are also a part of the half
4:35
off discount so here you can see that
4:37
the original price of this one was
4:40
$219 and this beautiful tree is on sale
4:43
half off for $109 .99 it's really cute
4:47
it's like a really narrow tree that
4:49
would be perfect in like a hallway or if
4:51
you want to do like a second tree inside
4:52
of your living room this is another
4:54
small one and the good thing about the
4:56
flag trees are that they're beautiful
4:58
like even before you put any
5:00
like ornaments Ribbon or anything like
5:02
that they're already lit nice basic and
5:05
simple and then you could always you
5:07
know brighten it up with like a few of
5:09
the really large ornaments on those
5:12
smaller FL trees will look great because
5:15
it will look a lot more full without
5:17
having to do too much bunch of Christmas
5:19
trees here for you
5:21
guys plenty of
5:23
them all half off right
5:27
now this one is really gorgeous cuz it
5:31
has the larger lights as well as the
5:34
smaller ones and the pine cones as well
5:36
and then here are the smaller like
5:40
tabletop or entryway trees here I like
5:45
the gold ones but I really love like the
5:47
ones that come inside of the planter and
5:50
let's see this one here is $60 oh my
5:54
goodness they are so beautiful it also
5:56
has like the matching tabletop one so
5:59
$15 for that and these ones half off
6:02
would be $30 a piece so you could kind
6:04
of go with that pull it out every year
6:06
prices are averaging $25 to $60 so these
6:10
ones here are $24 and that's before the
6:14
half off discount so you can definitely
6:16
go with this one and only pay $12 so I
6:19
think that these this is a really good
6:21
one so go with something like this two
6:24
of these for $12 you can put them on
6:26
both side of your door or if you have a
6:28
fireplace on your man to so you get two
6:30
of those for $25 and then you can grab
6:33
this one here for like $15 that's like a
6:36
beautiful like entryway piece those two
6:38
on both sides of the door and you can
6:40
put this one on like your entryway table
6:42
or on the top of your fireplace with
6:43
those on your mantel that'll be like a
6:46
really beautiful way to go as well and
6:48
then right across they have a ton of
6:51
ornaments here I mean if there's an
6:54
ornament that you are looking for I'm
6:55
sure you will be able to find it here
6:59
because cuz they have so many $18
7:01
average but that's before the 50% off
7:03
discount so a ton of ornaments if you
7:05
want to add like something special to
7:07
your Christmas tree as well as a t like
7:11
of like the
7:12
balls we also have that I really like
7:15
the big ones that they have going on
7:17
here shatterproof so if you have little
7:20
ones look for this little sticker here
7:22
and go ahead and pick up the
7:23
shatterproof ones so that you don't have
7:25
to worry about your little ones either
7:28
getting hurt or breaking anything that
7:30
you spent money on so make your life
7:34
easier by just getting the shatterproof
7:36
ones more Christmas ornaments every
7:39
color that you might need they have like
7:42
the basic ones here these are originally
7:45
$16 so $8 for a 50 piece is not bad and
7:49
these are also like shatterproof so I
7:51
think that these are really good prices
7:54
for a 50 pack I really like this color
7:57
scheme here they got the larger one on
8:00
the jumbo ones the small ones and these
8:03
are beautiful I love this color Scream
8:05
the gold and silver I think it's just so
8:08
like elegant I've never been able to go
8:10
like the full blush like pink colors or
8:13
anything like that because I've always
8:15
been like with my husband so going like
8:18
the blush colors the pink and things
8:20
like that has never been a thing for me
8:22
but I'm thinking that I'll go with like
8:24
a winter wonderland like bluish theme
8:27
here for my living room they have some
8:30
huge Christmas garland I mean these are
8:33
huge if you have like a really huge
8:35
Christmas tree then they have that and
8:38
these are the most beautiful angels ton
8:41
of ornaments and then they also have so
8:44
many Christmas stockings this is the
8:46
store for it they have Christmas
8:47
stockings at a lot of different stores
8:49
but oh my goodness the amount of
8:51
Christmas stockings with matching skirts
8:54
they have here Hab lby is crazy and they
8:56
are beautiful this one originally $20
8:59
it's $10 and it is so so soft
9:03
beautiful beautiful Christmas stockings
9:07
here this one the basic ones like this
9:11
one $10 half off so this one would
9:14
actually be $5 instead so just depends
9:17
on what you want to go with they have
9:20
some Christmas skirts at $50 and then
9:22
the prices go all the way down to about
9:25
$35 I want to say up to about $6 $ so a
9:30
ton of those for you more Christmas
9:34
figurines as well as like the monogram
9:37
stocking tags which are actually right
9:40
up my alley of what I need so I'm going
9:43
to get some of these I'm going get one
9:46
for Noah my husband and myself and our
9:50
dog so those I'm definitely going to get
9:53
a few of those ones and they also have
9:55
like the small Christmas stockings which
9:56
I think are really cute to do in like a
9:59
bedroom or if you wanted to like
10:02
actually spell out your child's name
10:04
they have the most adorable Christmas
10:05
dockings and Christmas skirts here here
10:08
up on the back wall will be all of your
10:11
Christmas pillows as well as all of your
10:14
Christmas mats and I love like the way
10:16
that they place the matching colors and
10:18
things like that so let's see these
10:22
pillows are looking to be about on
10:24
average I would say $30 based on the
10:27
prices that I'm seeing so take that like
10:29
there are some that about $40 some at
10:31
about $20 so on average I say about $30
10:36
on average with these pillows and I I've
10:40
been looking at these which are so
10:41
beautiful blush or pink and gold which
10:44
is beautiful for like a bedroom decor I
10:47
wouldn't do like pink in any of like my
10:50
main living areas but definitely for a
10:52
bedroom I think that that pink would be
10:54
beautiful and then I really love this
10:58
one here
10:59
[Music]
11:03
$30 for that one these ones are really
11:06
cute another good one for the bedroom
11:09
this would actually match like some of
11:11
the linen that I already have for my
11:13
bedroom I have all of your different
11:16
Christmas lights here the smaller ones
11:19
that are battery operated and then those
11:22
are $10 before any discount and then
11:24
they also have like the outdoor ones the
11:26
one that you put on your Christmas Tre
11:29
tree all of the Christmas stands and
11:33
skirts and tree collars and things like
11:35
that so these are all of the type of
11:37
things that you would basically do like
11:39
as far as like tree decorative goes they
11:41
also have a bunch of these smaller waths
11:43
which are really cute to put on like
11:46
cabinets you can hang these up on like
11:48
your cabinet doors these ones are only
11:53
$ before any discount so those are
11:55
really cute for $3 you can put some of
11:57
those on like your bath B cabinets
12:00
kitchen cabinets gift boxes are really
12:02
cute before Christmas so if you have
12:04
little ones my little one if he sees
12:06
Christmas presents under the tree it
12:08
like drives him crazy but you can buy
12:10
some of these really cute boxes just put
12:11
them up under your tree things like
12:13
these are really nice just to
12:17
put like all of like your little gadgets
12:20
and knickknack for
12:22
$4.50 these are like the Advent gift
12:25
boxes so they have the cocoa collection
12:28
they have the nine te's of grinchmas
12:31
where basically you could try like a
12:32
different flavored coffee cocoa or tea
12:35
everyday leading up to Christmas they
12:38
have the LED winter village these are
12:43
beautiful I always wanted to have one of
12:44
these I just like purchased a new buffet
12:46
table so maybe this is something that I
12:48
can finally add to my Christmas
12:50
collection little houses where you can
12:52
build your own village
12:54
for $18 so $9 half off as well as the
12:58
bottle brush tree set you can go with
13:01
for $5 ever I love these angels let's
13:05
see and $15 for this huge
13:12
[Music]
13:14
Angel no
13:16
no more tree toppers up there those
13:21
are1 to $15 before discount more tree
13:27
toppers
13:32
this is a really good way to decorate a
13:34
table top or anything where you actually
13:37
need to use the space so for us like our
13:39
kitchen table is we need the actual
13:41
space to eat at so just putting
13:43
something like this in the middle of the
13:45
table and put in like napkins condiments
13:47
and things like that will be a way to
13:49
decorate $30 so
13:55
$15 they have all of your Classics like
13:58
the old old school like vehicles and
14:00
things like that they have your
14:01
Christmas tree for $80 and then $40
14:04
after the discount as well as your snow
14:07
blanket that you can put on top of your
14:11
mantle more snow we get tons of that up
14:14
north in
14:16
Michigan beautiful Larger than Life
14:19
bows $12.99 these are so beautiful I
14:23
love this color scheme this is
14:26
$55 you could put
14:29
this beautiful thing like across the top
14:31
of your fireplace across an entryway
14:33
table you can hang those on like your
14:36
banisters like on your stairway as well
14:39
as this one absolutely beautiful and
14:41
this one is really long you can put this
14:43
across the top of like your kitchen
14:46
cabinet and that's a beautiful piece
14:48
that one is $60 before any
14:50
discounts so mini beautiful Garland so
14:54
I'll just try and show you guys all of
14:56
them they have the basic one
15:00
here not lit for $12.99 if you want to
15:04
get one and add your own lights this
15:05
piece here is
15:07
$90 before discount so 40 bucks they do
15:10
have the
15:11
LED lighted Garland this is a 12T one so
15:15
you can actually put this one around
15:17
your mantel $22 this one is probably my
15:21
favorite $60
15:24
$30 after discount beautiful I love this
15:28
color schem the red white green classic
15:32
Christmas colors tons of
15:37
reef all the way up to
15:43
$116 so 20
15:47
to 100 I say $50 average before any
15:52
discounts look how huge this one is like
15:55
this would cover my whole door like
15:58
where would you should put something
16:00
this big cuz I really don't know where
16:03
this would go on my house like my
16:06
roof $82 so there is all of your
16:10
Christmas reefs this one is really
16:11
beautiful as well $109 before any
16:17
discounts and it does light
16:21
up so there it is with the
16:25
lights here large light letters you can
16:29
spell out Noel you can spell out a name
16:31
here is all of your Ribbon a ton of
16:35
ribbon for you I mean they have a ton
16:38
it's like NeverEnding stock of ribbon
16:43
any color that you need here $10 so $5
16:47
half off so if you're going for a
16:49
gingerbread theme this is beautiful
16:52
really nice drap around your kitchen
16:54
cabinets for a gingerbread kitchen they
16:56
have everything macarons I mean
17:00
everything so if you ever wanted to do
17:01
like a flat Christmas tree without the
17:03
flock but you still kind of like the
17:04
snow Effect one option would be to go
17:08
with this like this furry like snowy
17:12
looking reef and you can dve that across
17:14
your tree and then that'll be your snow
17:17
effect so that's definitely an option
17:19
for let's see $6 all of your pine cones
17:23
and things like that for your tray
17:27
tables
17:29
fresh baked a cookie one this one smells
17:33
so good it's coconut wax blend and it's
17:37
fresh baked cookies I love the smell of
17:40
that one absolutely
17:42
delicious
17:44
$5.99 so8 bucks Christmas tree scent a
17:49
frosty mocha latte if I get these I
17:51
would never want to like them they also
17:54
have like the flameless LED candle sets
17:57
as well with which are great Staples to
17:59
pull out every
18:03
year all of your candle holders and
18:05
pillars I can't go with like the tall
18:08
candle holders and pillars because I
18:09
have a little one but if you don't that
18:11
is definitely something beautiful to put
18:13
on like your dining table if you're
18:14
doing like a Christmas dinner with
18:16
family then they also have these huge
18:19
ones too and that
18:22
is $40 so $20 after the discount I have
18:26
some outdoor decor
18:29
[Music]
18:31
I love this one
18:34
$15 there is Bor to you this day in the
18:37
city of David a savior who is Christ the
18:39
Lord that's
18:43
beautiful I love this one
18:46
here so many I'm in love I think I'm
18:50
going to get one of these
18:56
here 17 $ for that one so still under
19:00
$20 they have a lot of
19:03
beautiful wall art pieces is born
19:06
Christmas
19:08
countdown
19:10
calendar $7 for that as well as all of
19:15
like the cute little books and things
19:17
for your little ones give yourself a
19:20
budget if you come to Hobby Lobby for
19:22
your Christmas decor just give yourself
19:24
a budget and I'll only bring that
19:26
because you would you would go broke if
19:28
you got everything here that you love I
19:35
think you have the
19:38
lanterns the
19:40
Globes
19:41
beautiful My grandmother used to have
19:44
like a little set like this maybe I'll
19:47
get one I love this piece here more
19:51
Grinch Christmas decor kitchen decor for
19:54
the Grinch popcorn maker which is great
19:56
for Christmas movie night they also have
19:58
like grilled cheese maker waffle maker
20:01
all of the Grinch stuff so you could do
20:03
like a Grinch theme if that's your a
20:04
theme make sure go for definitely go to
20:06
Hobby Lobby maybe Christmas he thought
20:09
doesn't come from a store have like a
20:12
jumbo Grinch head $80 for the Grinch's
20:17
head countdown calendar as well as the
20:20
cutest little throw blanket and pillow
20:22
sap for watching all of your Grinch
20:25
Christmas movies
20:27
$45 and we also have some down there
20:31
Rudolph theme going on here R Brown
20:35
Snoopy all of the Christmas classics and
20:38
some really
20:40
beautiful Advent calendars this one
20:43
lights up
20:45
$35 so about $17 after the discount all
20:50
of your puzzles if that's something that
20:52
your family enjoyed doing they have the
20:56
beads I I don't know if these are
20:58
ornaments or beads these are ornaments
21:01
more Christmas bottle brush sets they
21:03
have the light up Christmas trees for
21:06
tabl Top This bigger one is $50 so $25
21:09
and then they have the smaller ones for
21:11
$20 before any discount so that would be
21:14
$10 so you could go $35 and get both of
21:18
those as a set more of your Christmas
21:21
nativity sets and this one $60 and
21:24
there's more of like the pink I think
21:26
would look really good inside of like a
21:28
kitchen I could never go pink cuz my
21:30
husband would never allow it but it's
21:34
definitely beautiful that's something
21:37
that you could do the cutest little
21:44
gingerbread these things are tall super
21:47
tall so tall they're about 4T tall
21:51
because they are on like a little
21:52
platform and I'm
21:57
5'4
22:07
I love this little Santa like mailbox if
22:11
you have little ones and they like to
22:12
send off like little letters to Santa
22:15
you could put this one um outside like
22:18
on your like porch maybe and then have
22:21
your little one nail off a letter 12
22:24
days of puzzle set with 48 puzzle
22:29
pieces a different puzzle set each day
22:32
for $20 so $10 after the discount and
22:35
then of course Christmas mugs which if
22:38
you have a hot cocoa or coffee bar for
22:40
Christmas you got to have like a special
22:43
mug I really like this one here it has
22:46
like the lid on it cookie jars at the
22:49
bottom and then all of the Christmas
22:53
mugs let's see
22:56
$11 and and $8.99 for this one which is
23:01
pretty large this is a cute this could
23:04
be like a sou jar this one which of
23:07

23:09
I love this one here for $12 before any
23:16
discount last minute Christmas Shopper
23:19

23:21

23:24
Christmas decor these ones are $11 I
23:28

23:32
beautiful Christmas mugs Bas like this
23:35
stuff yeah I was wondering like how tall
23:37
is that
23:40
one yeah this is nice because like if
23:42
you don't want to put ornaments on the
23:44
tree so that's like $8 yeah 70 in those
23:48

23:51

24:10

24:12
whatever you do thank you all of like
24:16
your Christmas party wear here like your
24:18
disposable Christmas stuff which is
24:20
great if you are hosting guest if you
24:23
are doing like a fancy theme then you
24:24
can definitely go with your actual like
24:26
ston War set and your fancy dining set
24:29
but if you have like a large family and
24:31
kids then definitely go disposable you
24:33
can like make it look nice Christmas
24:35
hats and then they also
24:39
have these really huge
24:41
ones this thing is probably almost as
24:44
tall as
24:46
