Christmas Time Is Almost Here with just
0:02
less than one week away I still have not
0:05
wrapped any Christmas gifts so today
0:07
we're going to be doing a Christmas gift
0:09
wrap with me
0:12
[Music]
0:20
welcome my name is heaven and I'm a
0:22
stay-at-home mom wife and Homemaker here
0:24
at blog about all things motherhood and
0:27
lifestyle I create helpful relatable
0:29
realistic and motivational content for
0:31
you all so if that's something that
0:33
you're into definitely subscribe to my
0:35
channel I post twice weekly and I would
0:38
love to have you here but let's go ahead
0:39
and get into today's video so the goal
0:43
is to get as much done as I can I may or
0:47
may not get all of the wrapping done
0:49
because both my husband and Noah are
0:53
still in the house so I'm going to start
0:55
with wrapping up Noah's gifts and then
0:57
if he runs up the stairs I will switch
0:58
and start wrapping up my husband's gifts
1:00
but I don't know we're just gonna take
1:02
it a little at a time and see how this
1:04
goes so let's get into it I'm starting
1:06
with the biggest box that I need to wrap
1:09
and I'm using some wrapping paper that
1:12
my husband picked up from Target the
1:14
quality of it isn't bad it's not like
1:17
the thickest wrapping paper but it does
1:20
the job up this is the longest wrapping
1:23
paper I had so I knew that it would
1:26
provide enough coverage for the larger
1:28
Christmas gift boxes that I had so
1:31
that's why I'm using this specific one
1:33
for this gift but I have a few different
1:36
types of wrapping paper I have a couple
1:39
that I have left over from last season
1:41
and last Christmas which came from
1:43
Hallmark I love Hallmark Christmas
1:45
wrapping paper because it's nice and
1:47
thick and sturdy and then again I have
1:50
the target Brands this ribbon that I'm
1:53
using I picked up from Walmart it's just
1:55
some basic gold ribbon and then I also
1:58
use a little gold name tag from Walmart
2:00
as well so let's just take it back a
2:03
moment so that I can show you guys how I
2:05
wrap these gifts so I pretty much just
2:07
measure out the appropriate size
2:09
wrapping paper and then I cut it along
2:12
the grid lines then I fold them over one
2:16
on top of the other tape it down I'm
2:19
using shipping tape because that's what
2:21
I had but I really don't like that tape
2:24
if I'm being honest and then to do the
2:26
ends I use my fingers to smooth the
2:30
sides of the wrapping paper and and then
2:33
I fold the top down and then I fold the
2:36
bottom over the top and then tape that
2:38
down too
2:40
so in just a second I'm going to show
2:42
you guys that again
2:46
so I fold these sides in with my fingers
2:49
I fold the top down and then I fold the
2:54
bottom of the wrapping paper up and
2:57
that's what I'll end up taping down this
3:00
is the easiest way for me to fold the
3:03
wrapping paper on the ends when I'm
3:05
using rectangular boxes and this is just
3:08
the way that my mom taught me so I've
3:10
been just wrapping it that way since I
3:11
was a kid and then I just fold the bowl
3:15
on pretty much any type of way sometimes
3:17
I use the scissors to curl the ends and
3:20
sometimes I leave it just like this but
3:23
I like it and I think it turns out just
3:26
fine so I'm doing the same thing with
3:27
another one of Noah's gifts and this is
3:30
his Melissa and Doug Take Along railroad
3:33
track toy and this is how I pretty much
3:35
try all of my gifts I'm just going to
3:37
switch back and forth between the
3:39
wrapping papers some of them you'll
3:41
notice that I'm actually not putting a
3:43
name tag or a bow on them because I'll
3:45
come back to it later and I can pretty
3:47
much tell whose is who by the way that I
3:49
stacked them the wrapping paper that I
3:51
used and on some of them I just put a
3:53
name tag on them so for Nova's gifts I'm
3:56
putting the rectangular name tags and
3:59
then for all of my husband's gifts I'm
4:01
using an oval name tag just so that I
4:03
can know the difference when I go back
4:05
and actually write their names on it so
4:08
hopefully you got some Christmas gifts
4:10
that you have to wrap as well and we can
4:12
kind of just do this together turn on
4:14
some Christmas music or a Christmas
4:17
movie while we do this grab a cup of how
4:20
cocoa tea or coffee and just get it all
4:23
done
4:24
if you are wrapping Christmas gifts with
4:27
me or you are here watching let me know
4:30
in the comments below I'd love to hear
4:32
from you and know that you're here I
4:34
know that I'm a little bit late wrapping
4:37
Christmas gifts partly because I've just
4:40
been super busy with my husband's
4:42
birthday we just had a birthday dinner
4:44
for him yesterday on December the 19th
4:48
I'm recording this on December the 20th
4:51
so I've been pretty busy but aside from
4:54
that whenever I wrap the Christmas gifts
4:56
and put them under the tree it's like
4:58
torture for Noah he's like struggling
5:01
staying at the gifts every single day
5:03
and it's taking everything in him not to
5:06
want to open up the gifts and he's
5:08
getting more and more ages as the days
5:10
go by so the closer we do this to
5:13
Christmas the better it is for everyone
5:22
foreign

5:45
so right here I have to go ahead and
5:48
toss a blanket over the box that had
5:50
Noah's Christmas presents in it because
5:52
he decided to come up and join me so
5:54
that's how I managed to like wrap these
5:57
gifts while he's around without him
5:59
seeing I just keep a little blanket to
6:01
cover everything back up because he does
6:03
try to peek and look
6:05
song of a Wonderland

8:37
so now that Noah has left the room again
8:41
I went ahead and began wrapping his
8:44
gifts so this is his Melissa and Doug
8:46
fishing set I actually did a video on
8:49
all of the gifts that I got him so if
8:51
you're interested I'll be sure to leave
8:53
a link to it so I'm halfway done but as
8:56
you can see sometimes I get a little
8:57
distracted and start checking my phone
8:59
and well you know it happens but I'm
9:02
definitely at least halfway done here so
9:05
I'm definitely making some progress some
9:08
people love Christmas gift wrapping if
9:11
that's you let me know I don't
9:13
necessarily love it but I don't not like
9:16
it it can just be time consuming if you
9:19
have a lot of gifts and I actually still
9:21
have two wrap gifts like for other
9:24
family members too so here's another one
9:27
of Noah's gives and I switched back to
9:29
the blue wrapping paper because it's
9:31
pretty large and at this point my
9:34
husband is in the room so I'm actually
9:36
conversating with him while I'm wrapping
9:39
this gift and that's another reason why
9:41
I can't wrap his gifts but that's pretty
9:43
much how it goes like wrapping Christmas
9:45
gifts when the kids are around or when
9:48
the husband is around but considering I
9:51
am almost done at this point I pretty
9:53
much just told Noah like okay it's time
9:56
for you to leave and so sometimes that
9:58
works I try not to have to like put him
10:01
out all the time but at this point it
10:03
was necessary so that I can go ahead and
10:05
finish up at this point I still have
10:07
about six more gifts to wrap
10:13
[Music]
10:29
thank you
10:31
[Music]
10:38
foreign
10:40
[Music]
10:43
foreign
10:52
[Music]
11:29
[Music]
11:35
wow beautiful
11:37
[Music]
12:06
alrighty so I went ahead and finished up
12:09
and once I was done I placed all of the
12:12
presents under the tree and this is what
12:15
it is looking like nice and colorful
12:18
every year I say that I'm going to wrap
12:20
all of the presents with just one color
12:22
wrapping paper but that never really
12:23
happens I think I just like the
12:25
difference in contrast and color so now
12:28
my husband's going to wrap all of his
12:30
gifts with no end iron around and then
12:31
he'll add them under the tree as well
12:33
but that'll be all for this video I wish
12:36
you all a very merry Christmas and a
12:39
happy holiday season if you enjoyed this
