Okay, I'mma get back to um
0:06
being available for my channel and more,
0:08
y'all. Life has just been life in a lot.
0:11
So, welcome to the world of Tino. I'm
0:13
Tino. Hi.
0:16
And welcome to my world. Okay, so I'm a
0:20
retired chef who had a stroke.
0:24
What happened was
0:27
at the time I was trying to complete my
0:29
20 years at AT&T. So I was coming home
0:32
from work from AT&T.
0:35
I think it was a Monday, October the
0:37
10th. Yep. 21.
0:41
And I had been sick all day at work.
0:46
So um I decided to go ahead and go home.
0:51
and they wouldn't let me leave. They was
0:55
talking all kind of stuff about points
0:57
and stuff and firing and whatnot. So,
1:00
you know, I just I just stayed and I
1:02
probably should have left cuz health is
1:04
health is best.
1:06
I could have died up in that damn
1:07
building.
1:09
But finally at 7:00 I punched out and I
1:11
left
1:13
and I had a stroke in the car while I
1:15
was driving home through three counties.
1:18
Yep.
1:19
So, um
1:22
Oh, what's going on over here?
1:31
I don't know what that is either. It's
1:34
probably my three ladies. Corn, bean,
1:36
and cucumber, but I don't know what it
1:38
is. Okay, back to what I was saying.
1:40
That's what the stroke had me so
1:41
distracted. So, yeah. Um,
1:47
I rode
1:50
I rode and rode and rode. I got in the
1:53
car and I called my wife immediately and
1:54
I was like, "Baby, something's wrong. I
1:57
don't feel good."
1:59
She said, "What do you feel like?" I
2:01
said, "I feel like I'm having the
2:02
stroke, honestly." She said, "Want me to
2:03
come get you? I'm going meet you." I
2:05
said, "No, I think I can make it."
2:08
So,
2:10
after that,
2:12
I continue to drive through downtown
2:14
Atlanta
2:16
through
2:19
I don't know, Vining City through
2:21
Mapleton
2:22
through
2:25
to Powder Springs
2:28
to where we lived pretty much. Yeah.
2:31
And
2:37
pulled up
2:40
um on my block around corn from my house
2:43
and it's like a fire truck in the road.
2:45
I'm like, "Oh my god, I'm going to die
2:46
right now." So, shortly after that, um,
2:50
I was guided by the police officer. I'm
2:52
like, "Sir, I need to go home. I live
2:53
right here up the street." He was like,
2:55
"No, man. You got to turn around. You
2:56
got to turn around. You can't go through
2:57
here." I want so bad. I'm having a
3:00
stroke. But, I like, "You know what? Let
3:01
me just go ahead." He was cop.
3:04
He didn't care. So, I turned around.
3:08
Long story short, I made it home, but no
3:12
collision.
3:14
pulled up into my driveway, got out my
3:16
car,
3:18
and punched the code into the door and
3:20
went in the house. Man, them fried
3:23
chicken wings was blast in here. I had
3:25
asked my wife to make me some fried
3:27
chicken wings. When I hit the door, I
3:28
could not stand the smell of them. I
3:30
knew something else was wrong with me,
3:31
too, cuz I loved fried chicken wings
3:33
before I had the stroke.
3:36
But at this particular time, I can
3:37
barely even stand to even smell chicken,
3:40
especially if it's fried. But once I got
3:43
home,
3:47
the next thing was um
3:50
I ask her to stop frying it and she try
3:52
to get the house nice and smell smell
3:54
free. So I get up,
3:58
I sit down in my door
4:00
and I get in the door and I sit down in
4:03
my chair and according to what she said,
4:06
I methodically took everything out of my
4:07
pocket, my badge, my change,
4:10
my receipts, everything and put it on
4:12
the table nice and neat.
4:15
You said I sat there and had um
4:19
I don't know what I did. I think it's a
4:22
a headache powder instant drill because
4:25
I was so tired. Bad idea.
4:28
So I went upstairs
4:31
and I fell down
4:35
and they heard it and I told them I was
4:37
okay and I I probably wasn't. My
4:40
daughter came up said and looked at me
4:41
and she said, "I'm calling 911. I'm
4:43
calling emergency. You go in the
4:44
hospital." And I couldn't fight her.
4:46
Normally I said, "No, I'm not going."
4:48
And I don't go. But this time I couldn't
4:50
fight. I couldn't argue. I couldn't do
4:52
nothing. They was trying to get me
4:53
together, get my clothes on for me cuz I
4:56
had them got butt naked to get in the
4:57
bed cuz I'm home from work.
5:00
So my daughter and my wife put my
5:02
clothes back on me and the whole time
5:03
I'm fighting them going, "Whose arm is
5:06
this? Get your hands off of me. Stop
5:08
touching me. Leave me alone."
5:10
And she said I was violent and abusive.
5:13
And I know I was cuz I didn't know what
5:14
was going on. I don't like to not be in
5:16
control. So shortly after that ambulance
5:20
came, real cool guy named Sean. I
5:22
remember him. I asked him his name
5:23
specifically. And another guy, I think
5:25
his name was Dar Daryl or Dwayne or
5:27
whatever. They took me down to Wellstar.
5:29
Wellstar had me there for 30 full days
5:34
on the 10th of October to the 10th of
5:36
November, the very next month, and then
5:39
20 weeks of therapy, physical, verbal,
5:44
and occupational therapy.
5:47
It's a long road
5:50
it is. You don't remember who you are.
5:53
You barely remember what you are.
5:57
I was thinking yesterday when I woke up
5:58
yesterday when I woke up and after
6:00
having my stroke.
6:03
First thing I wanted to know was where's
6:04
my wife? This African doctor, excuse me,
6:07
African nurse
6:10
was in the room. So I politely asked
6:12
her, I said, "Ma'am, where's my wife?"
6:14
She said, "Oh no, sweetheart, you ain't
6:15
woman. You do not have a wife. I want to
6:17
get out that bed with my stroky ass and
6:19
bust her across her head, too. I wanted
6:21
to, but I could. I didn't have the
6:23
energy out of the scrims. So, I just
6:24
reported her as star boss. Yep, I did.
6:29
So, um, yeah, that was Wellstar
6:33
therapy went on and on
6:36
and on and on and that was almost three
6:40
years ago. And I still have effects of a
6:43
stroke here and there. Forggetfulness,
6:44
little glitches.
6:46
I don't know if it'll ever go away. I
6:48
don't know. I still have a little pain.
6:51
Not a whole lot. Not to cry about.
6:56
And I did get a legal THC card for legal
6:59
cannabis, so that helps a lot. I'm able
7:01
to get edibles and tincture. That helps
7:04
a lot. I'm on a neverending script for
7:08
muscle relaxers.
7:12
and have blood pressure medicine, other
7:13
stuff. But, um, that just my life.
7:17
I mean, I think for the rest of my life,
7:18
it's going it's going to be like for
7:19
right here until something else happens.
7:21
I'm going to need to start exercising
7:23
again. I am
7:26
never stopped. But
7:29
yeah, I'm in Wonderland cuz I weigh 199
7:33
and staying 5'8. So, that's good. Yeah,
7:36
it's hot out here, y'all. But I wanted
7:37
to get some fresh air and just talk to
7:39
y'all and be alone with y'all for a
7:41
minute. This us and my people.
7:45
Yeah, I read um the story today, but
7:47
this lady,
7:49
her family's in the Netherlands
7:51
and her husband had a stroke.
7:54
She's there by herself. So I told her
7:59
that
8:01
I don't know if they going to come from
8:03
the Netherlands to see her, but my
8:04
family's right here in Georgia. I had my
8:06
stroke in Georgia and only people that
8:08
came to see about me or my 77 year old
8:10
mama
8:12
and had she been dead when nobody came I
8:14
guess. So I'm sure your husband's mom is
8:16
either too old to travel or she's
8:19
already passed away. But mama's mom's a
8:22
ride or die. That's come to see you when
8:23
you get sick is your mama. Nobody else
8:25
don't give a damn. They don't give a
8:27
damn. Your friends
8:29
child know they're not coming to see
8:31
you. You can have a million friends.
8:34
Everybody, Tino this, Tino that, Tino
8:36
there, Tino.
8:39
Kyell came to see me, my son's best
8:41
friend.
8:42
My best man, Scorpio, who's also my
8:45
brother.
8:47
My play brother in the life, he came to
8:49
see me, too. And my sister-in-law, my
8:52
sister-in-law, came to see me saying.
8:55
She sure did.
8:57
That's right. She sure did. I ain't
8:59
going to never forget that either. Never
9:01
forget that. She could have been
9:03
anywhere that day, but she came there to
9:05
see me cuz she loves me and she my
9:08
sister
9:10
and she didn't put nothing above me or
9:12
nothing but just trying to go see about
9:15
Sonia.
9:16
Yeah, that's my my legal name y'all. But
9:19
know is good for people on the streets.
9:22
So yeah, y'all be careful.
9:24
know who's really there for you because
9:27
it breaks my heart
9:29
even in this same season to know that
9:31
these same people that say that they
9:32
love me so much
9:34
and care for me so much but when I damn
9:37
near died they didn't show their face
9:41
they didn't even call me I had to call
9:44
them and like oh I had a stroke
9:48
no cars no balloons nothing my
9:51
sister-in-law car balloon money
9:54
everything. Even dinner, they bought
9:55
everything.
9:57
And that's what I'm going to be there
9:59
for.
10:00
Anything ever happened with Sam,
10:02
anything happened with Troy or them
10:03
kids, I'm there for them. They always
10:06
been there for me. They been there for
10:08
me because we family.
10:12
And that's what family does. And I know
10:14
that now.
10:20
Okay, y'all. I know we had a
10:22
conversation about my about my
10:24
father-in-law
10:25
in many videos
10:27
and
10:30
I regret to form y'all
10:33
that
10:35
three weeks ago he passed
10:38
and we had the funeral.
10:42
He passed y'all.
10:44
My mother-in-law is here now today with
10:47
us. took her two weeks to get back with
10:51
us. We want to get her out of the house
10:53
away from that sadness for a little
10:54
while cuz we're all sad. We're all hurt
10:56
and we all miss Mr. Bobby. Oh my god,
11:00
I miss him so much for her. I do. I miss
11:02
him so much for my wife. That my wife's
11:04
father that was my dad. I never really
11:06
had a real real dad. I mean, my dad had
11:09
been gone for almost 20 years when I met
11:13
Mr. Bobby. And Mr. Bobby had been my dad
11:15
for 20 years. I feel like I lost my dad
11:18
again.
11:19
Y'all, I don't know. And then a week
11:22
after that,
11:24
my aunt Margaret passed away. Not my
11:27
mother's sister, but my mother's cousin
11:31
who is like a sister and like a aunt to
11:33
me and my siblings.
11:36
And her kids are like my brother and
11:38
sister. And I should have been there for
11:39
them. I couldn't do nothing. I don't
11:42
drive. I don't have control of my money.
11:45
I couldn't do anything.
11:47
and
11:49
that part. But my heart goes out to
11:52
everybody in this season.
11:56
Hopefully they get together. Hopefully
11:58
they'll figure it out. Hopefully they
12:01
understand that when you supposed to be
12:02
there for somebody and be family,
12:05
then you be real. Be true.
12:08
Do the right thing by them. Don't be
12:10
fake as [ __ ] Don't do that. Don't use
12:12
them. Don't wait until
12:16
They make it big so they can give you
12:17
some. That's not what this life is
12:18
about. This life is for being here.
12:20
People need people. We need each other.
12:23
I need you.
12:25
You need me.
12:29
Yep. I need you. I wouldn't be sitting
12:31
here talking to y'all. I need y'all.
12:34
I do know that. I need y'all. when
12:37
there's nobody else to talk to,
12:40
when no one else to confide in, when I
12:42
get super sad or super AD ADHD, which I
12:47
that stroke stuff too. Yeah. I just come
12:50
open my phone and I say, "Hey, this is
12:52
Tino. I'm in Tino's world. Hey y'all. I
12:55
love y'all so much." Y'all got me
12:56
through some real hard times, too. Let
12:58
y'all know that.
13:00
All 300 almost 400 subscribers in two
13:04
whole years. I got it. and I'm on the
13:07
road to getting 500 subscribers and
13:10
4,000
13:12
watched hours. So, help me get there.
13:14
And I'm going to take me and my wife and
13:17
my mother-in-law. We'll go on a vacation
13:20
abroad overseas somewhere or maybe in
13:23
the States, but she don't want to get a
13:25
passport. So, y'all help me. Help me. We
13:28
got a new child. She's almost 80. She's
13:32
ours and we love her. We going to take
13:34
care of her. Miss Bobby know we going to
13:36
take care of her, too. Bobby, you hit
13:38
that. We got her. We got her, sir. We
13:42
got her. She's here with us in the
13:45
house. In the house. Yeah. That you made
13:48
sure that we that we had for my wife's
13:52
father, we would not be in this house.
13:54
How about that?
13:57
We would not be in this house. W for her
14:00
mother. We would not be in this house.
14:02
They bought this house for us. Where is
14:04
that?
14:09
We'll talk again, y'all. Somebody just
14:11
came out just not looking for me. So,
14:12
I'm going to see who it was. Okay. And
14:15
that's almost 15 for 15.
14:20
I love you guys. Have a great safe day.
14:24
Don't forget to say your prayers.
14:27
And yeah, my piercings are born. Y'all
14:29
see that? I had another MRI.
14:33
So hopefully I'll replace my piercings
14:35
next week because after they came out,
14:37
we put the plastic in. I swallowed the
14:39
plastic. I swallowed some steel,
14:42
put some more in. I swallowed everything
14:44
they put in my mouth. They kept popping
14:46
out. So that part
14:50
next time we talk when I get the um the
14:52
piercings again hopefully. Maybe next
14:55
week we can go next week. We may talk
14:57
today. I'm going to Ross for senior
14:58
citizens day.
15:01
No, we going to do these
15:04
today. Tuesday.
15:06
Yeah, we can ride the baby, y'all. I'mma
15:07
go back inside, y'all. All right, that's
15:09
it. I love you and so does Jesus one.
15:13
Say your prayers, okay? God is real and
15:16
he's still making miracles. I know I'm
15:19
one.
15:20
Okay, y'all. Oh,
15:24
what's that doing?
