Trump's Mobilization of California National Guard Is A DANGEROUS Preview of What's To Come

It is Monday, June the 9th

This is the warning. America is in crisis and one needs look no further than the city of Los Angeles to understand that

Let's look at this scene on the streets, an Australian television reporter broadcasting

Let's watch the law enforcement officer take direct aim at her with a rubber bullet and fire

Firing rubber bullets at protesters, moving them on through the heart of LA

And let's remember these scenes in front of the Episcopal Church in Lafayette Square outside the White House

where Donald Trump walked outside of the gates, trailed by Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who apologized for it

Donald Trump, his administration, ordered peaceful protesters be attacked. They gassed the Episcopal priests at worship in the church

Donald Trump went there, desecrated the Bible, held it upside down. Donald Trump asked his defense secretary, Mark Esper, who was aghast, along with his chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, if the U.S. military, the armed forces could shoot American citizens to wound, not to kill

Shoot them in the legs is what Trump asked. They were aghast

They thought it was deranged. But let's be clear over and over again, like here

People from within. We have some very bad people. We have some sick people, radical left lunatics

And I think they're the best. And it should be very easily handled by, if necessary, by national

guard or if really necessary, by the military. Donald Trump has threatened that should he

get back into power, he will turn the American military loose on the American people

that he will look for a pretext of any type of any sort at any time to do so

And so one has come to the state of California in the city of Los Angeles, ICE in the form of Tom

Homan, the terribly deranged leader, the thuggish leader of the deportation effort, a name which will

be remembered in ignominy by history. This man who threatens America's elected officials into

Congress, who dares to threaten the elected leader, the governor of California, somebody who leads

with an election, 38 million people with jail, all of this nonsense, Tom Homan, Ice Barbie

Christy Noem, Corey Lewandowski reported as her lover, but also secretly running the Homeland

Security Department with her. All of these people together provoked a response with a militarized

operation in a heavily Hispanic immigrant city in Southern California, Paramount, and

here is the result. The provocation worked. The community rose to debate and there was violence We see rioters carrying Mexican flags carrying El Salvadoran flags throwing concrete at law enforcement officers And so this gave Donald Trump all the pretext he

needed to federalize the California National Guard. This is all theater, performance theater

fascist theater, but the assertion of power is real. And so what we are seeing here is for the

first time since 1965, we see a president federalizing troops. Lyndon Johnson did it in

Alabama after the violence at Selma. Now Donald Trump is doing it to inflict violence by the state

on the people. And Donald Trump now says that there is more of this to come. He says that troops

will be deployed to every American city. Here is the exact quote. Well, we're going to have troops

everywhere. We're not going to let this happen to our country. We're not going to let our country be torn apart like it was under fighting. Meanwhile, armored vehicles, tanks, personnel

carriers were being loaded and transported across the country to Washington, D.C. for a military

parade on the anniversary of the U.S. Army, the 250th, the greatest force for liberation in world

History desecrated when it is forced to march and to salute Donald Trump on his birthday as a symbol of his personal power that he's abusing

The defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, threatened to deploy the United States Marine Corps to Los Angeles to quell what Stephen Miller called an insurrection, never mind the real insurrection

The one on January 6th, 2021, when Donald Trump incited a mob to storm the United States Capitol to overthrow and overturn an election result

The law that he has invoked that gives him the power to federalize the National Guard has been met with condemnation by every Democratic governor in the state who has attacked it appropriately so as an assault on state sovereignty

and part of the crisis that we're dealing with in this country is the fact that there's not a

single Republican governor that has joined their Democratic colleagues in the condemnation

though every single one of them, except for a few of the most nutty of the bunch

agrees with their Democratic colleagues. Gavin Newsom seems to be under significant pressure

and duress. Here is the governor of California in this moment. He's been here 10 years. The fear, the horror. The hell is this guy? Come after me. Arrest me. Let's just get it over with. Tough guy. You know, I don't give a damn, but I care about my community. I care about this community. The hell are they doing? These guys need to grow up. They need to stop. And we need to push back. And I'm sorry to be so clear, but that kind of bloviating is exhausting. So Tom, arrest me. Let's go

not so long ago he was sitting down with Steve Bannon sitting down with Charlie

Kirk the Musk fight seems like it was 10 years ago not just days Donald Trump broke Elon Musk in half The drug richest man in the world has slinked back to Texas

with Stephen Miller's wife as his prize, but not much else, unless you count the data on all of us he transmitted to who knows where

and of which there's no account. But it seems the American media has moved on

Terry Moran, the veteran journalist at ABC News, has been suspended. Why? Because he said this in a tweet about Stephen Miller

And of course it is true. Stephen Miller is hateful, objectively so

Was Goebbels hateful? Was David Duke hateful? I can point to 10 years of statements objectively by Stephen Miller

if the word bile has meaning in the English language that meet the definition of the word

What Terry Moran did was accurately describe the motive for what are, in essence, the rage, the anger that's always festered within Stephen Miller and has been reported as such in many, many, many, many profiles of him all the way back to high school

This Santa Monica Goebbels flushed with power. And so the man behind me in the painting, Sitting Bull, he fought the U.S. government

In the U.S. government, the U.S. Army in the 19th century killed 50 million warm-blooded animals to starve the indigenous population of the country into submission, into starvation, onto the reservations

The St. Louis, filled with Jews trying to escape Hitler's Germany, was denied entry into the United States

There were a thousand buildings burned in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Black Wall Street was burned to the ground

There's been savage racial attacks in Savannah and Washington, D.C. Mostly they're lost to history and to memory

But there have been all manner of savage attacks by the American government on the people of the United States over our long history

And when the smoke clears, history remembers them and condemns them and future leaders apologize for it

But in this moment, Trump is asserting his power. And where are the Democratic voices

Where are the serious people explaining what's happening that are able to look into a camera and to say that the second that Donald Trump federalized those National Guard troops, they became regular soldiers of the United States Army

And those regular soldiers of the United States Army are prohibited under American law, under posse comitatus, from enforcing the law, participating in law enforcement activity on domestic soil, unless the Insurrection Act is to be invoked

And Donald Trump has not invoked the Insurrection Act, thankfully, because there is no insurrection

But he wants to. And Pete Hegseth wants to deploy the Marine Corps

And Stephen Miller wants to see these troops open fire. Understand that there is an evil in America, in our land, and it is rising

Donald Trump despises huge parts of the country, disrespects its leaders. He disdains democracy

He hates election outcomes that do not give him carte blanche What Donald Trump is doing is asserting the maximum powers and then some of the American presidency Is this what the American presidency has become What it was

intended to be? An office for a Caesar who can do as he pleases, a king, able to officiously make

pronouncements and then enforce them with the sword of his military against the people in a

system passed down to us of government of the people, by the people, for the people? Absolutely

not. So the mission of opposition in this moment is to speak clearly to the contours of our society

the elements of freedom that are sustained by the rule of law, our rights enshrined by the

Constitution. We are a peaceful people in the United States of America who want freedom, who

want prosperity, who want opportunity. And what is being done in our name by this corrupt

malignant president is not only appalling, but it weakens us as a people, as a nation

as a society. It corrupts us. It dishonors us. The damage that Donald Trump is doing to the United

States, it's hard to put into words. He is tearing at our values, the very fabric of our society

and way of life. He's ripping it in half. We must be strong. We must be peaceful. We must be

resolute. Donald Trump wanted to antagonize a reaction and he got one. He got the pictures he

needed of immigrants waving Mexican flags and foreign flags as Stephen Miller talked about it

engaged in insurrection on American soil. Now he will use and abuse his power to put it down

in our name. The overreach, the overreaction, all of it will continue to build. All of the

provocations will continue to grow until catastrophe. It's what Trump has chosen

It's what he wants. And he thinks that when there's a reaction to his provocations, it gives him all that he needs to assert the power he wants to assert and has long wanted to assert so that he can rule with an iron fist over an emergency of his making, where he can strip the American people of their liberties under a declaration of martial law or the Insurrection Act

preposterous though it may be. Isn't it time we start taking Donald Trump seriously

and the people around him, both literally and seriously? Because looking at what's going on in Los Angeles

it should occur to even the most naive amongst us that he means every word of the fascist poison
