Today I'm taking a look at this console table the iHe Tech 1A had sent to me
0:03
So I just want to do a quick unboxing assembly and give my first impressions of this. So here's all the pieces that it comes with
0:08
We're going to have the two side legs, the middle leg, the two support beams
0:13
all the wooden pieces, the instruction manual, and finally a box with all the hardware and tools that are needed
0:20
So I'm taking a look at the instructions and the first thing to do is to grab these two pieces labeled five and six
0:26
which are going to be right over here, and then grab the smaller pieces labeled 8 which are going to be these underneath here
0:32
and then go ahead and screw them in with the screws labeled I and there's going to be four
0:38
of these long ones here. So here's piece 6 and then piece 8 and I could twist it and then go
0:44
ahead and screw it in. Then go ahead and do the same thing for piece 5 and the other piece 8
0:51
Now we're going to go ahead and connect these two pieces together. So the first thing to do is to
0:55
grab a dowel and place it down over here making sure that this is the one that's furthest apart
1:01
from the hole and here you can see they're going to be different lengths away and then we can grab
1:06
this piece labeled a goes right over here and then they can go ahead and just be connected just like
1:13
so now we're going to go ahead and grab two cam locks this can be placed right inside and now i'm
1:18
go ahead and be screwed in gently there's just like that so now the two pieces are connected and
1:22
And then we can go ahead and grab the piece labeled seven and four wooden dowels and just go ahead and place them
1:27
on the inner hole, just like so. And then same thing on this other side here
1:36
And then we can go ahead and grab two of these screws that are labeled B and they can go ahead and just be screwed in right over here And there Now once that done it time to go ahead and attach these two pieces together
1:53
Alright, so this is the easy part. We're just going to go ahead and stick it through the hole. Just like so
1:58
And then give it a good push. And then we can go ahead and screw in the cam locks on this side here
2:04
Alright, so now we can put this piece to the side. And grab the two planks labeled 3 and 4
2:10
And then we can screw in 10 of these all around on the two planks
2:21
And now we can go ahead and grab two dowels and then just place them in these holes here
2:26
And we'll go ahead and attach these two pieces together. And now we can go ahead and grab the old piece that we had and then connect them together
2:36
and then we can grab 10 cam locks and go ahead and put them right down all around over here
2:43
all right so now this can be flipped to the side just like so and then we can go ahead
2:59
and screw in the middle leg right over here all right so I went ahead and just flipped it on its side and now we can go ahead and attach
3:09
these two pieces right down over here we're going to go ahead and need two of these bolts
3:15
these screws labeled F and also the washers labeled G and now the feet can go ahead and be
3:21
screwed in all right so now we can go ahead and grab the legs and then screw in this wooden piece labeled four right over here And then two screws will go from the top and then the other two screws will go from the bottom There just like that then we
3:39
can go ahead and do the same thing for the other leg. So I went ahead and laid down the big piece
3:44
on the floor and I grabbed the leg making sure that these pointed bits are facing inwards and
3:50
And then I can go ahead and screw them in over here on the right side and on the left
3:55
So I'm going to go ahead and start down here. Then I'm going to go ahead and grab the screw labeled F and screw it in right down here
4:02
All right, so now it's time to grab four of these and then go ahead and screw it in to the top
4:06
And then do the same thing for the other leg. Now it's time to install these feet on all four of the legs
4:13
And now we can grab these two wooden planks and go ahead and screw in 10 of these screws on top
4:17
And now it's time to connect them. So this metal piece can go right on top and the dowel at the bottom
4:22
And we just push that in. And then we can go ahead and grab two cam locks and screw those in as well too
4:27
Now this can be flipped and then placed right on top here. And now I can go ahead and put the cam locks all around the back
4:39
And four on the inside here. Alright, so now it's time for the outlet
4:46
And we can just go ahead and put this right through here. and then screw it in with these two little screws
4:53
Alright, so now it's time to grab four of these screws labeled E and then screw them
4:57
underneath over here on the left side and on the right. Now we can grab these protective corner pieces and stick it right here
5:07
Alright so here what the console goes ahead and looks like and it matches real well with with the background over here And one thing to note is I end up moving these to the back just so it doesn go ahead and
5:20
hit the wall rather than the couch. And as you see over here, it's not currently fully level and that's because my floor isn't
5:29
leveled so I do have to go ahead and make some adjustments to the legs
5:32
Alright, and there now it's a lot better so as you can see when I go ahead and move it
5:36
it stays pretty still. And I also put this part right on top and this is basically just going to go ahead and cover the hole
5:42
And here you can go ahead and see. Oh yeah, I do have to go ahead and connect it and thankfully there is a plug down here
5:47
So let me just move it a little bit more. And right there
5:53
Alright. And let's see if it goes ahead and turns on. There, now it's on and now it's working
6:00
So I put the couch over in front and I think it looks real nice and even my cat Tiger likes that he's just curious climbing over it
6:06
Now one thing I did is I moved the console a little bit more to the right side Just so I have the space on the left side for my lamp over here and I can put like a little chair
6:14
Over here as well, too But yeah, I'm definitely a fan of the fact that there are gonna be a lot of compartments in here
6:20
So if I do want to go ahead and put some extra extra things, maybe some books I can go ahead and leave them in here and they'll remain hidden
6:27
And also just makes it easy to go ahead and put stuff on top when I'm sitting over here
6:32
And if I want to go ahead and charge my phone, I can go ahead and do so I can use the outlets right inside here and then yeah there are going to be two regular outlets and there's
6:42
also two usb outlets which is real nice but yeah overall i'm pretty happy with this yahitech console
6:49
again style wise it looks nice and it does go ahead and match with the wall and the floor as
6:56
well too but yeah that's a quick look at the yahitech console
