Today I'm taking a look at this side table with a charging station
0:02
Vasco went ahead and sent this to me. The side table can also be used as a nightstand and look, even my cat Tiger likes it
0:08
But over here, I have a lot of empty space, so I figured this would be the perfect spot to put it in my room
0:12
Now, I usually use this outlet to go ahead and charge my things, but now I can just go ahead and plug this station in
0:18
And right over here, I can go ahead and plug in the cable for my Fitbit, just like so
0:23
And then here you can see that it's currently charging. And then I can either leave this here up top, or there is going to be a hidden compartment at the back
0:29
if I want to go ahead and hide certain things. So in the box, we're going to have two sets of legs
0:33
one labeled C, another labeled D. We're going to have two small wooden planks labeled G
0:38
a slightly bigger one labeled F, a bigger one labeled B, another one labeled A
0:43
and then the top part, which is going to be the charging station. We're going to have all the different hardware
0:47
And finally, the instructions. So the first thing to do is install the feet
0:51
that's going to be in the baggie labeled 4. And we're going to go ahead and grab the metal piece labeled D
0:56
and just screw them in at the bottom just like so. and then grabbing the metal piece labeled C, connect them together
1:03
And then do that one more time. And the next thing to do is to go ahead and get baggy labeled 3 and then go ahead and screw it in
1:09
And we do get an al-ranch that comes with it, but I'm going to go ahead and be using a drill. Now the next thing to do is to attach the wooden plank labeled A to these legs with the screws and the baggy labeled 2
1:22
And now shelf E can be screwed in over here. And same thing for shelf B. And now shelf F can be screwed in under here with the screws in the baggie labeled one and then screw in the smaller planks label G on the side
1:32
All right, so I found the perfect spot for the side table on the right side of my couch. And one thing I noticed is it was a little uneven and that's because my floors are uneven
1:40
So I just loosened up this foot on the bottom here. And now you can see when I go ahead and move it, it's pretty steady
1:46
Actually, there is a little wobble here. So what I can do is loosen this one up a little bit too and so I would go counterclockwise and there Now it a lot better So as you see when I go ahead and push it stays real even So overall there
2:01
going to be three compartments here. The first one is going to be the one in the front. And this is
2:05
also where the power station or the different outlets are going to be. We're going to have
2:09
two regular outlets and then two USB type A. And then we're going to have this bottom portion here
2:15
And the coolest part is going to be the secret compartment in the back. So if you want, you can
2:18
go ahead and hide things here but overall it looks real nice especially with the color just because
2:23
it does match with the background and also the floor and one thing I do like about this vasicle
2:28
compared to other ones I went ahead and tried out is the fact that this outlet here was already
2:32
pre-installed because in other ones I had to go ahead and screw it in so I'm glad that vasicle
2:36
went ahead and already included it here so I don't have to go ahead and you know mess with it anymore
2:39
and I do want to go ahead and test out the power outlets so I went ahead and just connected it all
2:45
the way over there to the right and right over here I have my phone. I have my iPhone right here
2:50
with the charger and I can go ahead and plug that in and here you can see it's currently charging
2:55
and again I can either leave this in the front although there's not too much space I can kind
2:59
of put it off to the side like this or even better I can hide it in the back just like so
3:05
and now for the top part this is basically where I can go ahead and put my MacBook. So this is
3:10
going to be a 16 inch one so when I put it right on top you can see that it's just enough space
3:15
although it does hang over a little bit so when I push it to the side it's going to look a lot
3:20
nicer a little bit more centered and of course I can go ahead and charge this as well too
3:24
so here I can plug it in give it a good push and then when I go ahead and connect it to my mac on
3:30
this side here you can see it goes ahead and plugs in but overall it definitely looks really nice and
3:35
it adds some character to the room and I'm glad I have like some extra space to go ahead and put
3:39
things on top, you know, even my cat can go ahead and just chill over here. But yeah, if you're
3:43
looking for a side table, if you're looking for some sort of nightstand, definitely check this one
