YBOT sent me their A1 cordless robotic pool cleaner
0:02
So in this video, I want to do a quick unboxing and setup and see how well this works over here. So inside, we're going to get the quick start guide, a user manual, contact card, some extra parts, the charger, a retrieval hook, and finally, the A1 robot pool cleaner itself
0:15
So before putting this in the pool, this does require some setup, mainly the flipper
0:19
So this actually can be inserted right over here, and it clicks onto place
0:23
And now to get to the inside, we just have to unlatch over here and over here
0:29
and this lifts right up and so here's what the filter looks like and then the screen filter and
0:35
i can just remove these silica gels over here so to turn on the robot vacuum we just have to go
0:39
ahead and hold the power button for a few seconds and it's going to light up and after a few seconds
0:43
this is going to light up green letting us know what the battery is like which is going to be at 50 so i do have to charge this before using it and now there's going to be four different settings
0:51
that we can choose one of one two of two three of three and four of seven so this is going to
0:56
correlate with how many days it's going to last. So here if I set it to one of one, this is going
1:01
to have one cycle which is going to last one day at 120 minutes. Two of two is going to be two cycles
1:07
It's going to last two days at 60 minutes each. Three of three is going to last three days for
1:12
three cycles of 40 minutes each. And four of seven is going to last four days at four cycles at 30
1:18
minutes each. I want it for the full two hours to see how long this lasts. But before putting this
1:23
in the pool let me go ahead and charge this and i do have to unplug this cap and then just charge
1:27
it right here all right so now it's finished charging and i can go ahead and take this off and also cap this and power it on
1:34
and i'm going to go ahead and leave it to the first setting here so it's going to be 120 minutes and
1:40
then it stop and so here what the pool looks like there going to be some dirt and and ascender and the A1 is slowly sinking It going to take about 20 seconds for this to calibrate and then it start going
2:19
All right so it's been over two hours and the robot pool cleaner finally parked
2:44
Now I'm gonna go ahead and wait until the morning to retrieve it but here's what it goes ahead and looks like by the water. So it's self-parked over here and it's flashing green
2:51
letting me know it's time to take it out but I'll wait till tomorrow morning where it's nice and
2:54
sunny. All right so here's the Y-Bot A1 and this is what the pool looks like. Yeah we can definitely
3:00
see it did a pretty good job. There were dark spots in the center now it's no longer there
3:04
and then here's more angle of what the pool looks like but now I just want to take this out, drain the water
3:17
So now to open it up this can just be pulled downwards same thing here and here's the inside
3:25
of it and now this looks pretty yellow so far and here's the rest so yeah this is where a bunch of
3:30
stuff got caught more so in here and here you can see all the stuff that it went ahead and trapped
3:37
and yeah the water's looking pretty dirty so now I just want to go ahead and clean this up and I'll
3:41
be right back. So overall this did a pretty good job and kept the pool clean but yeah that's a
3:45
quick look at the Ybot A1 Robotic Pool Cleaner
