HIPAA sent me this projector so I just want to do a quick unboxing and first impressions of it and
0:04
see how well this works. So here's the HDMI cable, the AV cable, power cable, and of course we're
0:10
going to have a user guide to show us how to actually use the projector. And finally, the
0:14
projector itself. And this thing is going to go ahead and be pretty nice looking. It's like a
0:19
medium size. It's not too big. It's not too small. Right here on the side we're going to go ahead and
0:24
have the vents. On the back side is going to be all the different ports from USB-A, HDMI, Aux
0:30
cord, AV, and the actual power charger. On the other side, we're going to have the vent as well
0:34
On the back side, we're going to have four of these rubber legs if you want to go ahead and
0:38
set it at a table, or right over here, a thread for a tripod. Now going to the front, we're going
0:43
to have the lens followed by the logo, and this over here is just going to go ahead and focus it
0:48
So right here is going to be power, menu, check, back, down, and up. So yeah, let me go ahead and
0:52
just put my tripod on here and test this out. All right, so here's the projector itself. It's on this
0:56
tripod over here, and then here you can see on the wall what's displaying, and it is a little bit
1:01
blurry, so I can just go ahead and adjust it with the focus, but of course, I'm going to get the best
1:05
picture when I go ahead and turn off the lights, just like so, and now I can go ahead and just
1:09
maneuver through different languages, so right now, it's going to go ahead and be English, but if I
1:13
want I can just go ahead and just keep changing it and then press check just like that and oh wow yeah the screen is really big it takes up literally the whole space of the wall so this was actually perfect space and then right here you can kind of see it just right above the
1:28
couch and then right below the top of the screen so I want to go ahead and just go to mcast so I
1:33
can just scroll down right over here right there and just press the check mark so first I have to
1:39
connect the projector to my network and then I can go ahead and use airplay all right so I went
1:43
ahead and connected it to my Wi-Fi and now I can go on my iPhone and then just go ahead and mirror
1:48
and right here it's going to go ahead and show up so I can go ahead and press it and it's slowly
1:53
going to go ahead and start mirroring my phone. All right so I went ahead and went on YouTube and of course it's going to go ahead and show up vertically but if I go ahead and just flip my
2:00
phone it'll go ahead and change to horizontal as well and I can just go ahead and just watch
2:04
the video just like normal. So as far as color goes it's not too bad. I definitely think it
2:09
would look a lot better if I wasn't on this wood grain texture just because it's dark in color and
2:14
if I was somewhere else like potentially like on the ceiling it'd probably look a lot nicer too
2:19
and yeah so right now it's going to be on the ceiling and the colors definitely look a lot
2:22
more vibrant but yeah overall using this is pretty easy and I can also go ahead and just of course
2:27
attach this to my computer as well too just with the HDMI port as well or I can go ahead and attach
2:35
something else via this USB cable here. Now after done using it I can just go ahead and just press it
2:39
and it's going to go ahead and shut off. But yeah that's a quick overview of the Hippos projector
