and so when an opportunity when the

company asked me to do it it's like okay

cool i'll do it and then when i got

booed at the um at the summer jam

i got booed by 50 000 because i was

talking about the rockefeller drug laws

and how it's impacting the community

and then uh and then i started getting

booed and after that it was like oh okay

that it's something that i think that

for me it's you know writing the recipes

we that's a big part of the job as well

um coming up with ideas uh but the

presentation on camera is something

where i feel like uh

heard that so many times from school and

didn't plan to do that but

um so when i started trying to do this

um the the first thing i had to learn

was to not

just stand there and say what i was

and then do it um it didn't take long

while you're cooking you know talking i

think a lot of people do that

now and you know the cool thing is now

we have social media so you can kind of

get on there and

present yourself and get some feedback

we didn't have that back then we just

did like pilot tests and

and got notes and and waited for another

chance which is what i did

two years to get

you know um i think now the lucky thing

you can put yourself out there on your

well i was going to do a particular type

grew up moving around in the military
