Hip-hop is one of the most significant music genres of the modern era. It has given birth to many legendary artists, producers, and DJs who have left an indelible mark on the music industry. One such pioneer who played a crucial role in shaping hip-hop music is GrandMixer DXT. Born in the Bronx, New York City, DXT (formerly known as GrandMixer D.ST) is a DJ, turntablist, and producer who has worked on various tracks, including the groundbreaking collaboration on the Herbie Hancock classic, "Rockit." Recently, DXT appeared on Sway In The Morning and shared his opinions on 50 years of hip-hop and his incredible legacy.
