Tok, United States - August 17, 2026 A fast-moving, wind-driven wildfire dubbed the Mukluk Fire ignited in the backyard of a home along the Alaska Highway near Sundog Trail in Tok, Alaska, late Monday morning, growing to an estimated 1,500 to 2,000 acres in the evening and destroying an unknown number of structures.
