The wildfire has damaged or destroyed nearly 850 structures and displaced about 67,000 people since it began on Saturday, according to US officials. No fatalities have been reported. Authorities said the fire has expanded by only two acres since Monday as crews strengthened containment lines. As of Wednesday, the Old Trails and Autumn Lane fires were each 13% contained, while the Fairview Fire was 5% contained. Washington National Guard personnel have joined state and local agencies in firefighting efforts, deploying UH-60 Black Hawk and CH-47 Chinook helicopters to support aerial operations and protect threatened communities and critical infrastructure.
